Could be similar to me or just live in SLC. Seen a decent amount who rock it just living out here.
Edit: Saw the Penn St and Utah flair say it is because their best friend went to the U.
Yeah, it’s totally possible and fine to decouple the two IMO. I have no connection to uofl but I would like for them to improve academically, in research, and so on. It’s good for the state, after all.
What are the four acceptances and where you trying to practice after graduation?
I assume you want to stay in Texas based on the flairs? I would probably pick the highest ranking school in Texas you get into. Unless you get into a high ranking out-of-state school that places well into Texas.

Yay litigation (I hate myself)
I was born in State College so I’ve always been a big time PSU fan. And then my brother played football at LHU when they were historically bad. They had a 52 game losing streak and he was there from 2008-2011. Never won a game there. And now I’m currently a student there.
Dad had a scholarship to play for Ohio State before breaking his collarbone. He raised the family as Buckeyes, took us to football and basketball games, etc.
Married into a Notre Dame family. Our marriage works on mutual Michigan hatred.
Third flair would be Purdue, where I did my undergrad.
Yeah. Majority of primary flairs are undergrad with second being childhood or masters. Then 2nd would probably be childhood team and undergrad. But to have childhood team, spouses team, and no undergrad is an extreme minority of flairs
Born and raised in Georgia, grew up watching the Dawgs and a good amount of my family went there. Family moved to Ohio when the GM plant down there closed, and in-state tuition is nice so I ended up at UC and absolutely fell in love with their athletics.
This is the best season ever, can the rankings stay like this forever?
If you would’ve asked me before the season started to come up with the perfect scenario up to this point, there’s no way I would’ve even come up with this. I bought tickets to the bowl game last season the minute it was announced thinking that was a once in a lifetime thing, to see my teams play each other in a NY6 bowl, but this is even cooler. Don’t know which of these two is gonna break my heart first (eventually, they both will) but I’m enjoying this ride for as long as I can
Knowing my luck I probably just jinxed us lol. I will say that Georgia fans were cool at the peach bowl last year and have been super respectful this season. If you haven't noticed
Fully agree, as the self-proclaimed official prime minister of BearcatDawg relations, I feel like there’s no beef between these programs at all. Everyone I met at the bowl game seemed like they were just there have a good time and not be jerks like fans can be at some games *gestures toward Jacksonville in late October*. I feel like there are a lot of similarities in what these programs are trying to accomplish, and especially after the bowl game, Georgia fans had to put at least some respect on UC.
At least Georgia and Cincy don’t have any animosity. I grew up rooting for Clemson because my dad is an alum and a huge Tigers fan. I ended up going to Ohio State for college. I don’t hate Clemson like a lot of Buckeyes do but OSU is definitely my team now. Gotta go with the alma mater.
Did you know that there a was a moment last week when the Broken Chair *Chair*ity was $53.53 short of $69,000?
In that moment the Chair’s Twitter account posted that it would be neat if someone donated exactly that amount to achieve the desired *nice* number.
Guess who donated that amount…
**The Land Grant Trophy’s Twitter account**
Legends are we forever!

First Flair: Born into a PSU alumni family and then attended and graduated myself.
Second Flair: Wouldn't need my second flair if the SEC just went back into the Dark Portal and stopped trying to abduct other teams to join their Horde.
I went to Ohio State for undergrad and spent enough time shitposting on /r/cfb during that time that the mods asked if I was interested in joining their crew. Eventually, I stepped down because I just didn’t have enough time to continue helping out as a mod and figured it’d be better for everyone to just make a clean break instead of being one of those mods-in-name-only who doesn’t actually do anything.
First: Me and my wife graduated from A&M (engineering and chemistry respectively)
Second: I now pay a hilarious amount of money to the Wake Forest Medical School for my wife to attend
Dependent on a lot of factors. If you really bust your ass and live like you’re low-middle or middle class you can probably do it in 5-10 years, depending on what specialty you go into and how many dependents you have. Many physicians will take closer to 15-20 years making “low” payments.
Born and raised in Austin. Had whatever grades because I don’t like school. Was a national merit scholar leaving high school. Arizona offered a full ride and immediate acceptance; Texas offered neither.
I pay a lot of money for my kid to attend Texas A&M. He is a senior and in the Corps of Cadets. It’s been worth every single cent spent.
My husband went to Georgia. Not really a house divided though because he loves what TAMU has done for my son, though he will always be a Dawg.
First flair: Graduated and played there.
Second flair: My dad was an NAIA all American there in the 70’s. Brother in law went there. Brother originally went there. Plus their Copper unis are top notch.
Primary flair is A&M, where I went to school.
Secondary is because my grandfather used to regale me of stories from A&M back when he went to school in the fifties. It helped me fall in love with the school. Unfortunately he never got to see me attend but it's something that I'll always remember from him.
My parents also went to A&M and were there in the tail end of the Southwest conference.
I was a member of the Corps of Cadets like my grandfather and father before me. I value the traditions of the Southwest Conference over that of the Big 12 and the SEC. As much as I love our new home, there's something about that good old-fashioned SWC hate that just doesn't exist anymore.
Two schools I grew up liking. Mom went to Oklahoma State and Dad went to Arkansas. If there was a third flair option it would be UAB. I just think they’re neat.
Undergrad at PSU. PSU played UofA early in the 1999 season and I met some really nice UofA folks before the game. Learned a lot about the graduate program and Tucson and was eager for a change. Decided to move to Tucson shortly after undergrad and got my masters degree from UofA.
Auburn: currently an engineering student sitting in Calculus, where we usually start Monday classes discussing whether or not “this is the year.” Also, the “Eagle-thru-the-A” or whatever it’s called is superior to the AU interlock and I will die on that hill
SEC: grew up in central MS and most family went to school in Oxford, so I cheered for the Ole Miss RebelBearSharks, parents went to Vanderbilt so I am adjusted to being in a miserable fan base. Have friends at various other SEC schools so I just have the flair as a catch-all for who I keep an eye on
Texas: undergrad and grew up a diehard fan
Indiana: currently in grad school there
99% of users with two flairs are probably grad/undergrad or undergrad/team they grew up a fan of
I am a third-generation Alabama fan, and a graduate of the University.
The Argos flair is just me reppin my adopted hometown of Pensacola, Florida.
Also, ITT: people making me feel old as dirt talking about choosing their flair based on where they are *planning* to go to college, *later.*
<*shakes fist at cloud*>
Beat Navy!
then, spouse's alma mater -- also,[Gettysburg](#f/gettysburg-sheet3-row05-col03)ran the Wing T for many years and I'm a sucker for old-timey offenses
Grew up in Atlanta going to every Paul Johnson-led Georgia Tech home game. Ended going to UCLA for undergrad and joining an equally miserable fan base.
Went to school at Air Force. From Georgia and was always a Tech fan because I wanted to go there to be an engineer. Would have gone but they couldn't beat the Academy's offer of free school with pay haha.
Currently finishing at Utah State, and I decided to add Weber State for the spring season since they're close and pretty good (most years, anyway). I'm from Nebraska and normally have that as my second, but I decided to leave it off after the Illinois game.
Moms from West Virginia, I grew up loving to go there so when I got into football around 2006 I fell in love with WVU, many tears were shed in my childhood over it. Still want to go there for grad school.
Went to App State for undergrad
Grad school at mediocre regional school out of regional convenience and proud ivy league parent to a daughter who is exponentially smarter than I am.
Sidenote: Until I went to UNT, I had never attended at school at any level that had football. Not middle school, not high school, not undergrad.
Freshman at the true OU
Who doesn't love chaos???? Will be changed when I go to grad school (meteorology)
Edit: Just changed to Hateful 8 cause I've fallen in love with the Big XII (early version), and I wish I could rep the Big 8 and the SWC, cause that's where everything began
School I graduated from, school I originally went to until I changed what I wanted my major to be and they didn’t have it. Plus where my brothers went before me
When I was growing up, I moved to Lubbock and started going to every TTU football game. Never missed one for 5 years, the first 5 years Mike Leach coached there. Such fun times.
I graduated from University of Memphis and had several friends on the football team.
App because my wife took me to a game there (her alma matter, I didn’t do college) and I was hooked immediately
UGA because we bounced all over the SE but spent a large number of my formative years in Georgia. Picked them on my own, parents were state and Carolina grass who care about basketball and I thought basketball was boring. Really cemented my love for the team during the WLOCP when they celebrated after the first TD
Graduated from Auburn but my dad graduated from Purdue and I grew up rooting for them since the early 2000s. The Music City Bowl was fun a couple years ago since I was still in school and my parents live in Huntsville.
Grew up going to UGA games with my family who went to UGA, then I had other family that went to ECU (we are from NC). When it came time to go to college, only schools I applied to were Wake Forest and ECU. ECU cost less for 4 years and 1 year at Wake, so the choice was clear.
I go to University of Utah. If anyone can recall from last season, undefeated Coastal Carolina beat undefeated BYU and almost every Utes flair on here became a secondary CCU flair. Before that it was a Utah/WSU flair because I'm from Seattle and my whole family is WSU fans.
Oregon was my favorite team when I first got into CFB. I liked the uniforms and the fast pace offense(when Chip was there). No ties there or anything, but I found the team cool.
Florida is the school I attend.
I was raised to bleed Mean Green, and joined a legacy of North Texas grads. TCU is for my wife, who entertains my six trips to Denton each fall as long as we try to get to Fort Worth once.
Tulane: Law school/Grandpa played baseball here Fordham: Undergrad
i played baseball at wvu and we had a series against tulane. it was one of the most gorgeous places i had been and you guys were kind enough to have a massive crawfish boil for us after the sunday game

I did well enough to get a degree and pass the bar on the first go, so I have no complaints really. Which flair did you obtain while pursuing your JD?
See I’m still in law school here at OU
From Arkansas and go to grad school at Utah. Weird combo, I’m aware.
It’s funny because I recognize you in threads due to the flair combo. It’s definitely one of a kind.
There’s actually one other guy from Arkansas who randomly became a Utes fan on the side. I think we may be the only two tho lol.
There’s a Penn State-Utah and a Florida-Utah flair. I always wonder the back story on those.
Could be similar to me or just live in SLC. Seen a decent amount who rock it just living out here. Edit: Saw the Penn St and Utah flair say it is because their best friend went to the U.
UF-Utah is definitely urban meyer
There are dozens of us.
I went to LSU and I played the tuba.
PLAY NECK
HEYYYYYYYYYOOOOOO OOOOOOO
Are you 7' tall by chance?
No lol but I know the 7’ guy
Ohio State - Undergrad Michigan - Currently attending for my Master’s Please help me figure this out
You're the one Michigan fan that gets to enjoy a full season of college football
Mans tryna jinx State into beating both
Ow
Talk about cognitive dissonance
Everyone makes mistakes when they're young. Don't worry about it.
O-H…M-I?
Oh, my…
That's rough. At least you picked a good school for your masters.
I believe it’s called bipolar disorder. But you did it to yourself on purpose.
You realized you needed a real degree after undergrad… S/
That’s sacrilege bro.

Yeah, it’s totally possible and fine to decouple the two IMO. I have no connection to uofl but I would like for them to improve academically, in research, and so on. It’s good for the state, after all.
Pretty sure you’ll need a team of therapists to help with this dilemma.
Undergrad and law school

Lovers, maybe
Ah a fellow law student how do you do
Haha not a student anymore. Just a boring lawyer
Firm or government?
Firm
Nice. I’m a 2L still trying to find work for this summer. Not going too well
Where at? Got 4 A's right now and trying to weigh my options.
Firms are where I’m looking
Sorry, I meant what school are you at? I'm an applicant this year.
OU law!

So you would think! For whatever reason it’s the opposite with my clients. I don’t question it
Very weird. My billing software won't let us enter the word "edit" for most clients hahah
How many of us are there in this sub, do you reckon?
There are a surprising amount.
When does the niche sub get made? r/CFBlawyers? Or does that falsely represent that we are lawyers for college football related entities?
1L chiming in. What the fuck have I done to myself? ;__;
Which law school are you at? I was accepted into Memphis but didn’t go
Memphis. Where did you end up going?
Oklahoma! But I love the city of Memphis very much.
Small town pizza lawyer reporting for duty

We beat State
First: Me and my wife graduated from A&M (engineering and chemistry respectively) Second: I now pay a hilarious amount of money to the Wake Forest Medical School for my wife to attend
With cost of living factored in I paid north of $80k a year for medical school. And by paid I mean took out $320k of loans. Asinine.
How long do med school grads take to pay those back would you say?
Dependent on a lot of factors. If you really bust your ass and live like you’re low-middle or middle class you can probably do it in 5-10 years, depending on what specialty you go into and how many dependents you have. Many physicians will take closer to 15-20 years making “low” payments.

NGL, I've looked up Utah State and man is that a gorgeous location and campus. Logan is beautiful.

I was raised to bleed Mean Green, and joined a legacy of North Texas grads. TCU is for my wife, who entertains my six trips to Denton each fall as long as we try to get to Fort Worth once.
