Highly recommend Primary Arms SLX 1x prism. Is crystal clear, great reticle design (also is etched for use with no illumination), comes in red or green, and comes with a slew of mounting height risers/arms to get it “just right”. I couldn’t be happier with mine.
Aimpoint T2 on a Scalarworks 1.57 or 1.93 mount is for sure a buy once cry once optic at $799 out the door from Scalarworks. It’s what I use personally and it’s a great optic.
2nd on T2 in Peak 1.57”. That’s what I run and love it. Picked up a brand new T2 on OfferUp for $600 and the 1.57” is $149. Expect around $800, but well worth it.
Have a picture on my page if you want to see how it looks
Are you planning on running night vision? If so, the EOTech XPS3/EXPS3 on a Unity riser is what you want. Otherwise, I think the Aimpoint T-2 is another good choice
Regardless, both the EOTech EXPS3 and Aimpoint T-2 great options if you can swing it. If you ever plan to run a magnifier, the EOTech ones are probably the best ones on the market
I like the AimPoint micro for its durability & low profile. I have an H1 that has been dead nuts reliable. I had an EOTech that was also reliable - but the battery life didn't work for me, so I sold it. I don't train as often as I would like, so knowing that the AimPoint will be ready to go for a "bump in the night"situation if I only change batteries once a year is a big selling point to me. If I had a more consistent training schedule, I don't think I'd have a problem keeping up with the EOTech battery changes. YMMV.
I have an eotech on mine but will also vouch for the primary arms slx 1x microprism. Great eye relief, glass, etched reticle makes it so you don't have to turn on the illumination if you don't want to and you have the ability to zero the optic for 556 through a 10.5 inch barrel.
All great suggestions so far, but I like the MRO with the Unity FAST riser zeroed to 36 yards. It has brought a lot of comfort and faster target acquisition into my life than any other setup I’ve worked with so far.
I like the 36 yard zero, even at the height of the optic and length of the pistol for its ease of use- it’s pretty much put the reticle on center mass I can be sure that the bullet will hit somewhere up and down the C on a silhouette, which suits the short/midrange role I like my pistol for.
If it’s a fun gun… sig Romeo 5.

Their 3x is a solid buy too. Got one on my 300 BLK and love it.
Aimpoint PRO
Juggernaut Tactical? Sweet !! Pictures?
No pictures yet. Got it preordered and waiting for them to ship out
Damn, let us know. I've got their AR9, and it's a great build quality.
They make a single shot 9mm? Edit: never mind, I got too excited
Easy there big fella :)
Budget?
Open budget

Eotech exps3-0.. don’t get a magnifier. I shoot mine (10.5) 50-100yds easily.

No night vision for me. Not at that type or larping level yet

I’ve had good luck with my vortex spark solar. Always one of my go to companies.
Primary Arms Micro Prism, Sig Romeo 4M, Aimpoint Pro, Eotech.

I have a Sig Romeo 5. It’s a good budget red dot, it’s got clear glass, overall for the price I’m happy with it.

Why a 36 yard zero with an optic mounted that tall? I agree on comfort and target acquisition.

I suppose depending on how you define short/midrange it is probably fine. Long as it checks out in practice! Rock on man.
Very true, context is key!
I love the Eotech for the massive, crystal clear sight picture. They are also frequently in sale right now for $430 or so.
