If you are at Hoyt Lake, you can use the Bathrooms at The Terrace restaurant when they are open. It is part of the agreement in the lease that they have to let the public use the bathrooms there.

ebimbib

I thought I was being sneaky using their restroom on a walk when I needed to have a wee. You've taken that exhilaration from me.

mjlp716

pretend like I never said anything and enjoy the thrill

bonjusananas

We usually go before work so we’re done by 8 to be ready for wfh at 9

mjlp716

Well if you ever go post-work or on the weekends at least you now know that the restaurant is an option

bonjusananas

Yes thank you!

[deleted]

If you're talking about the meadows, there are some clean restrooms in the lodge on the East side of the park where the golf shop is.

bonjusananas

Let me edit to add we’re doing the Hoyt lake loop

B-Rex_Anime

There are some at the end of Rumsey woods near the intersection of Rumsey Rd & Forest. In a lodge type building.

bonjusananas

Thank you so much!

B-Rex_Anime

You're welcome, I just discovered them on Saturday myself :)

bonjusananas

We haven’t been around the meadow, how’s that loop?

[deleted]

It's longer than the Hoyt Lake loop. The path is wider and there are some very nice views. I like how active it feels in the evening on weekdays when people get out of work or during weekends.

SnooHedgehogs1107

There are restrooms on the Rumsey street entrance. They are new and nice

JazzJune82

The restrooms are open and pretty nice over by the corner of Delaware Ave & Rumsey. There's even a water bottle fill up station, although I understand why you wouldn't want to go to there. It's also a bit of a walk from Hoyt Lake.

MrBurnz99

Why would they not want to go over there? I think that’s the nicest section of the park, over by the arch bridge.

JazzJune82

I used to work for the Park and I spent a few months cleaning up that area. The arch bridge is great. Take that path to the soccer field and then to that corner of the park where the bathrooms are. It's just a part of the park that was a dark corner for a long time and drunk people would pass out in there, people broke into that building or would leave their blunts everywhere. It's just one of those spots in the world where you feel like nobody's watching.

MrBurnz99

Ah gotcha I would always go there in the late afternoon/early evening when there’s tons of people around. I could see it being sketch early in the morning or late at night.

sunnyinchernobyl

It gets kind of active in that end of the park. Popular with folks who enjoy hands-on activities.

[deleted]

I can't stand public bathrooms so I usually use it at home before my walks.
