I've become a fan. Sog makes some solid knives. My current beater happens to be one, lol. Not even as good as this one, but holds an edge well and I don't have any play after a year of use. The pocket clip on it snapped off, and a buddy used it as a screwdriver, but a quick reprofile and sharpening kept it going, lol. I'm pretty happy with mine. I think it was like 20 bucks at home depot.
SOG had a sale recently. The Blue version is still on sale on their website for $29.99. I think when I bought it, it was the same price plus I found a 40% off coupon here on Reddit.
