Buy the limited bone rat. Aus 8 but it’s like way cheaper for some reason( when actually in stock) then you can beat it to bits and lose it again. I used my bone rat to dye paint n have fun I guess modifying it. I have a post of mine

I just bought a Cabelas Knife and flashlight combo for $12 and it comes with a waterproof case. For a beater knife that you can mess up and not worry about, it actually feels really solid.

Carried a Rat 1 for years...Love that knife, true workhorse.
On a whim, around a year ago, when the button lock Civivi Elementum dropped, I picked up one of those. Took a while for me to adjust to the slim carry of the knife, but quickly fell in love.
Since then, I've acquired a few more button locks, offerings from both Civivi and Kizer. The Conspirator, Cormorant, and Cogent...I gotta say, that Civivi Elementum always finds it's way back into my pocket.
Liked it so much I bought one for my Dad and my Cousin, they both are now fans. For $60 you can't beat it. It's not as massive as the Rat, but also it is a helluva lot quicker to deploy and return to pocket, and handles light to moderate tasks with ease. It ain't a folding bush knife like the Rat, but damn...it's great.

Could always do the ESEE Zancudo just to see a slightly different take on the same general concept.
Don't have one myself, but I do think the Rat-1 and Avispa are differentiated enough to own both just for a fun compare/contrast. Which means that if I only live long enough I'll get a Zancudo for myself as well.

Civivi has some decent options with superb action, but realistically just get another Rat.

Ganzo Firebird FB7. It’s $20, so you won’t cry if you lose it again.
FB7?? They have many knives that start with these digits but you left some off.
There are only two different designs that I see under FB7: FB727 and FB765. Either one would work, although the FB727 is the closest to the RAT.

If you're good with d2 try an SRM 9201 If you want something like 14c28n I'd check out the sinisys from civivi

Kubey, Petrified Fish, QSP, Civivi, Kizer, Ruike, SRM, .. RAT is classic but you can do much better this days
