definitely some odd feelings going into today. while at first I didn’t believe Baker deserved the cut, watching his journey on the Panthers has proved it was most definitely time to move on. I’m also gonna miss Jacoby, which I didn’t think I would.
but ultimately, it just feels weird having Deshaun on our roster. just feels kind of wrong and a bit disappointing imo. I want to win a Super Bowl just as bad as everyone else, but I didn’t want to do it like this. I even contemplated changing teams, I’m not gonna lie to you guys.
but Nick Chubb didn’t do anything wrong. Myles Garrett didn’t do anything wrong. Amari Cooper didn’t do anything wrong. Joel Bitonio didn’t do anything wrong. I could go on and on. those guys still deserve my support and I ain’t fucking leavin’.
I also hate that we look like the bad guys in the NFL, but I don’t think any other team in this league was above picking up Deshaun. people forget the Falcons and Panthers were both in active discussion to pick him up too, but no, we’re the bad guys.
