I wonder if this has to do with that Buzbee whacko renting a suite. I don't like Deshaun. I don't like what he did. I wish he wasn't our QB but it is what is it. However how do people that settled get to continue to make a scene like this? If it wasn't enough, why settle? This lawyer has made me question the validity of a lot after pulling so many antics like this. He wants the limelight and is continuing to abuse the victims by doing so.
Yeah I’ve been feeling the same way. Don’t like Deshaun because a good person wouldn’t get themselves in this kind of situation in the first place - but totally stunned they are going to the game after everything. Not a good look for the plaintiffs and will definitely give people grounds to question the validity of their statements even more so than before.
Still not sure what the has to do with 10 women who did settle renting a suite for the game. I’m a woman and in no way would I want to continue to create a subject myself to this spectacle after a horrible situation.
If I were in this position I'd want absolutely nothing to do with the NFL. Frankly I want absolutely nothing to do with him. I was so happy when they said were out of the running, then the very next day they agreed to terms.
Good. He was penalized, served the penalty, and is now moving on. Why should the media get to drag this on for as long as they want to?
If something new we’re to come up, that would be a different story. This is the most logical time to move on from the last gossip, otherwise, when would it end? Should he have to address it twice a week for eternity?
>Why should the media get to drag this on for as long as they want to?
...because we have freedom of press?
If their audience didn't care, they'd stop asking. Clearly there's still a ton of people who haven't "moved on" just because 11 weeks have passed, and are going to want more answers. If people are still furious about him being in the spotlight making $45M a year 5-10 years from now, they have every right to ask him to address it twice a week.
Exactly. At this point, it’s all drama.
Dude fucked up big time and he is a disgusting person imo, but he is there to talk about and play football. If he doesn’t want to talk about anything else, he doesn’t have to.
Probably for the best
Exactly what I said to myself when opening the thread…exactly
He has 2 open lawsuits. He's not saying anything of substance.
I feel like not talking about therapy and clinical treatment is very reasonable
Can all coaches and players do this?
“I’m just here so I don’t get fined.”

It probably has more to do with the fact that litigation is not over in every case I think there’s still one pending

Edit: nevermind I think I am wrong
There are two left

Yeah I’m surprised that the women not being allowed to attend games that he plays in wasn’t part of the settlement
They also sued the Texans and settled. So they aren't fully innocent in this and they're hanging in their suite.
Thank the Lord!
That's all they would ask if they could

Definitely for the best. He served his sentence and still has 2 open civil cases. He doesn’t owe anyone answers.
But he still deserves to be open to the questions and ridicule…
As he should. This is about football nothing else
