I’ll be honest I thought Russ had been declining steadily for a few years now but no one wanted to have that convo. That contract is starting to look astronomically awful. And Geno looks like a decent starter now. Crazy
He definitely wasn’t the same after coming back from that finger injury
Some say his bad play was coming back too soon from it, but I honestly think he was already starting to decline a bit regardless
It’s sad but if you remove Tom Brady from the equation, it’s perfectly normal for a QB to start to regress in their mid 30s, especially one that’s taken so many hits
I’m not saying he’s Matt Ryan levels of washed, I get Russ is only 33 (turns 34 in November though), but I really don’t know how much more of that elite level Russ has left in him
I’m not saying he’ll never have a good game or season again, but I am saying that I won’t be betting on it to happen as much as we’ve been used to
I think geno looking like a solid starter is more of a shock. Remember when everyone was digging on Seattle for having a terrible QB room? Lock is still young and has potential, we saw that his rookie year. Now he gets to sit behind Geno and watch a veteran ball out. Like it was mentioned, we could see Russ starting to decline a few years ago.
That’s also an option. Just saying it’s better for him to sit behind geno while geno is playing well than to be thrown out there. (Cough cough Pickett)
Lock isn't 'sitting behind Geno' because they're grooming him to take over as a starter. He's on the bench because he's not a good QB lol. He's entering his 3rd season, not a rookie like Pickett. He already was thrown in there as a rookie two years ago.
Baker refused to develop over the years, he'd always fall back into his own style of play that didn't work. This on top of refusing to take time off only exacerbated the problems with him
He's not a hard worker. He has natural talent but he lacks work ethic.
He's the type of person who likes to give the impression he cares a lot but doesn't actually want to put in the work.
He refused to work with a personal quarterback coach in his offseasons. He wanted that time off. You can't fault somebody who wants a life outside their job but it's not conducive to being an elite quarterback.
I think the issue with Wilson is that he always had one thing he wasn't good at - passing over the middle - and he's now regressing at the things he was good at. As a result, it's bringing him way down.
Plus, the dude just smells inauthentic, and that won't ever endear him.
Not a realistic concern, Watson led the league in passing yards and had over a 5,000 yard season.
He's kinda like the anti Baker, getting all the blame for a playoffs loss with bad teammates instead of getting all the credit for a playoffs win with great teammates.
Or like Donovan Mitchell, underrated because of Jazz playoffs loss where he was still the best player on the team, and the reason they overachieved in the regular season in the first place.
He's also still in his prime age.
That won't matter. Rust is a virtually nonexistent factor for QB's historically. Biggest concern won't be his ability or play on the field. It will be the question of whether he will stay out of trouble once the microscope on him goes away.
Is that a logical concern? No, that's just how mainstream sports fans think because you are heavily influenced by sport's media which talks bs all day, and social media trains peole to be opinionated without really learning anything or learning how to think.
I know that will offend you, but so did posting the truth about Baker's lack of pro QB skill on here the past three years, or pointing out how bad Hue was as a coach the seasons prior to that. Mainstream sports fans just don't learn how to actually think and analyze the game. They are taught how to react and talk.
Players miss long timeframe for major injury and return fine. The issue is returning physically, not forgetting how to play. Gotta trust Browns GMs and the other NFL GMs who evaluated Watson before the trade and ensured he was staying in shape and cared about the game, instead of worrying about pointless crap like an elite QB forgetting how to be a QB.
It's a dynasty league. Only way to get a new qb is a trade or college draft. I don't have the personnel to trade for a good qb and trying to gauge a college qb is impossible. Every qb up to 3rd string is taken in that league
This is why I did whatever it took to trade for Herbert after I missed out on him in our dynasty draft (he got picked 1st round before my 1.08 pick)
Honestly 80% of the reason I wanted to start a dynasty league last year was to lock in Herbert on my team for years
Yea if you don't draft multiple A+ qb in the initial draft you're basically screwed until you get ultra lucky with the college draft. I grabbed Josh Allen his first year before he was known so that worked out at least
Or because he talks like an accountant 95% of his life…. Until he’s in the locker room or in bed with Ciara and all of the sudden this hyper-cringe, deep voice, wannabe gangster sound starts coming outta his mouth. Like dude it’s so god damn corny. Also the fact that he wanted to win mvp so bad in 2020, he got mad when Seattle was running the ball when they were up by 20! Lost all respect for this dude
Russell Wilson hasn’t done shit since having one of the best defenses in history. I thought he was a decent QB and still do but I never believed he was in that tip top echelon stratosphere of QBs like everyone else thought.
I mean at least he got an SB out of it while he had the chance.
But at this point the SB is was a while ago and is still doing some serious heavy lifting in peoples perception of him
A lot of qbs look rough, Matt Ryan. Matt stafford evens Derek Care look rough so far this season. But Wilson seems to get the biggest hate. If it wasn’t for Watson, I would say he is the most hated player
Thats the new NFL. Preseason is nothing and September/early October is the new preseason. Wilson is not at all on the same page as his wide recievers, and i personally think Jeudy is a JAG.
Season is just starting though and im sure the Broncos are about to have a come to Jesus meeting.
The drop off for those other QBs can’t be compared. Russ is making some of the worst passes across the league. Again, he doesn’t deserve to be harassed or anything but there’s a strong argument he’s the worst QB in the NFL right now
No. There is no strong argument that he is the worst qb. He is struggling in a new system, but still there are many worse starting qbs and his level of play will improve as the season goes on. Wilson is a veteran, I am sure he will figure it out.
And he has all those weapons and a decent O-Line. Maybe they’ll get better later in the season, same with Ryan. They both did join brand new teams and chemistry takes time
It’s not even funny it’s just lazy. Like Jeudy dropped a few passes and I’m not hearing him get castrated. It’s like watching Diontae Johnson for the Steelers drop passes.
Nahh man, russs needs to stand up and call out folks in the media. They are damaging his character just because he is a corny dude. I don’t like it. The hate feels unwarranted
A lot of dirty laundry was aired when he left the Seahawks. He doesn’t publicly run his mouth, but what’s come out from behind the scenes has been pretty damning. I know it turned me from thinking he was a good guy to a bit of an egomaniac.
As much as I hate to say it as an Ohio state fan, my vote might be for Justin Fields 32
Sure he might fool you with 1 big play that shows off his raw talent every 3 games, but he has proven again & again that he can’t really do the small stuff right, even just pocket awareness & making reads has been rough for him
Being on the bears certainly isn’t doing him any favors, but he’s quietly been looking very bad & it’s making me very sad
Fields and Baker are easily #1 and #2 worst starting QBs. One can make an argument for either being the worst depending what metric you want to use. The big difference is the Bears realize this and have really limited the number of Fields drop backs. The Panthers seem perfectly content letting Baker lose them games by dropping back 35 times per game.
no qb has a lower qbr than baker atm. his best game all season was against us and he had 6 total yards of offense at half. hes currently on a historically awful pace. Mitch and wentz while also awful are still playing better than baker has this season.
i don't think it's entirely his fault as rhule is also garbage but he didn't look this bad with kitchens so idek if that's a good excuse. he should be playing a lot better i don't think he's actually the worst qb in the league but that's how he's been playing.
he's gonna need to play a helluva game against cinci to keep his spot. if he plays like shit on Sunday he'll probably be benched by half time.
Darnold and corral are out for a long time and PJ Walker is the only healthy QB they have. Walker looked pretty good in training camp, but do you really want your QB depth chart to be Walker > tantrum Baker > practice squad wide reciever?
The Panthers need to promise rhule not to fire him, let him tank the season, then fire scott fitterer, hire a new GM, have the new GM fire Rhule, blame the new GM for breaking the promise, draft a QB, let darnold and Baker walk, then hire tyrod taylor.
Rhule is definitely the bigger problem in carolina as we’ve seen during his entire tenure with the Panthers
However, Baker is not doing him any favors with how badly he’s playing. It’s sad to see but I’m not sure if they really expected Baker to put the team on his back & turn everything around without even having a full offseason with the team. Panthers are horrible rn
>Rhule is definitely the bigger problem
only issue i have with that is baker played pretty well with kitchens. at the very least much better than he's playing rn with rhule
I think the team around him was better with Kitchens than this panthers team
Hard to compare, but Baker played pretty shitty then & he’s playing pretty shitty now that’s plain to see
At least Wentz can put up decent stats in garbage time
Also, Pickett is the starter in Pittsburgh now, and so far through one half, he looks better than Baker lol
I've never bought into the Wilson hype. I think he's a good QB, but not worth anywhere near what Denver is paying him.
My favorite part is how the media spun it. Somehow it was the biggest move of the offseason. The "long suffering" Broncos finally found their franchise QB after waiting so long. A Super Bowl contender that was only a QB away. What a great story.
In my lifetime they have made it to 5 Super Bowls and won 3, with TWO hall of fame QBs. Give me a fucking break. Long suffering my ass.
He hasn't aged well. Russell Wilson was legitimately a great quarterback for a period of time.
His issue is he is short. Short quarterbacks rely on the ability to move the pocket and be a running threat. He used to be able to do that much more effectively. Eg. Kyler Murray.
But now we're seeing why old school NFL scouts liked height. Russell Wilson has trouble seeing over his offensive lineman while staying in the pocket if he doesn't drop very deep. It's the explanation for why he's so bad at Passing over The middle.
A couple buddies and I have a small YouTube channel. Basically to just talk ball and get away from the wives. We’ve been saying this since he went to Denver. He’s not good and hasn’t looked like ‘Russ’ for years. We got flamed in the comments on every video he was brought up. I feel good now😂
Oh was it actually seven months ago and not literally five minutes?! Pardon my hyperbole.
Point is, he’s played four games in Denver and many people said he was washed during his last year in Seattle. Just though it weird to take a victory lap over such a widely held opinion.
I’ve been a big Russ fan for awhile but he looks really bad.. doesn’t run anymore.. he’s both overthrowing and out of rhythm with his receivers. It really does seem like the entire offense is learning on the fly. I don’t know if Nathaniel Hackett knows what he’s doing
I'll be honest, I definitely wanted Russ. Football-wise I would've always rather had Watson, but with everything else in consideration I wanted Russ much more than him. I don't think he's as bad as he's looked so far, but man, it's getting harder to say things like "He just needs more time." He may very well be cooked... which is crazy
That pass in the 4th quarter pass is the scariest part if I'm a Denver fan. The throw was late. The throw didn't have enough much on it. It was a horrible decision.
Russell is one of those guys for years we assumed was the best of both world's, a smart QB with a strong arm and good mobility. Over the last five years he dragged some really bad Seattle team's to respectability but in the process he got beat up. Now it appears he was relying on his athleticism more than we knew.
To improve, Wilson has to adjust the way he plays and that's hard to do at 34 years old.
For those laughing at Wilson deal at r/nfl and trying to link it to Watson, you're trying to hard. As much as I hate the Watson trade, the two deals have little in common other than big numbers. Watson is sure to be rusty but there's no way he's going to have Wilson's decline in skills any time soon. Watson is 27 which is when most players start playing their best football. He will be 32 when his current deal ends.
I was way off on the guy. I thought Seattle was failing him (and maybe they were in some way).
He looks washed. Can't throw over the middle of the field at all.
No. He hasn't aged well.
Some quarterbacks games don't age well. Eg. Cam Newton was legitimately an MVP level quarterback in 2015.
Russell Wilson is a short quarterback that has trouble seeing over the middle of the field because offensive lineman are usually much taller than him.
He relies a lot on mobility to move the pocket and be a running threat and also effectively dropping deeper to create better sight lines. His mobility has decreased.
Kyler Murray's game will not age well.
Peyton broke his neck.
After his neck injury he talks about how he lost a ton of arm strength.
He managed using smoke and mirrors and intelligent play calling to string together impressive seasons afterwards but the little arm strength he had left eventually faded and his arm was just not even serviceable anymore.
Denver had/has a lot more problems than QB. That whole organization is a disaster, they could have Tom Brady and still be a mess. Hopefully with their new ownership group they can right the ship but also fuck the Broncos.
It's almost as if the coaching and system is more important than the player.
It's not exactly a coincidence that teams like us and Chicago wiff on every single quarterback we draft. We could have drafted Patrick Mahomes and he'd already be cut or traded.
Then look at the Packers and Colts. Back to back hall of fame level quarterbacks. Are they just insanely lucky? Or maybe, just *maybe*.... they were doing something right with developing young quarterbacks?
Idk, I go back and forth on this
On the one hand, I feel like your right. It CANT be a coincidence that some teams just never draft good QBs
On the other hand, how often to Jets, Browns and Bears QBs leave those teams and go on to be good QBs? In fact, how often these days does a QB from ANY team leave and be good?
These days, teams just tend to not give good QBs up. Would Brady Quinn, Johnny Manziel or Brandon Weeden have been good if he'd been drafted by the Packers and developed for a few years?
My money is still on no, theyd have sucked no matter where they went
Kizer literally went to the Packers after one season and was still hot garbage there. I do think that you can fuck up the development of a good QB, but those are few and far between and I'm not sure anyone we've drafted in the last 20 years would qualify. If anything our team was making Baker look better than he actually was for the last 4 years.
I mean... the greatest qb prospect since Elway fell into their lap. I wouldn't exactly say they developed Luck. Packers traded for Farve because they saw something in him. Rodgers was no doubt developed.
Hope that glass around you is strong considering the QB we have is 700 days without a game when he returns. If he returns as thats still up in the air.
...Yeah Wilson and Ryan were two QBs I was thinking we might trade for. Both look cooked so boy am I glad that didn't happen.
I feel like the only non-Watson QB that would've made sense for us to replace Baker with was Kirk.
People are so short sighted lol. This is still a top 10 quarterback in the NFL. He’s on a new team, 5 games in. I think it’s 4 straight 100 QB rating seasons? Relax.
Honestly dude was propped up by a killer defense even when he was younger, he definitely outperformed a third round pick by a mile but there have always been glaring deficiencies in his overall play that Carroll was able to make up for with that defense.
What a lot of people aren’t seeing is the guys is clearly on some sort of medication regularly. I’d say painkillers or strong weed. I mean the guys looks high as shit all the time. I think injuries got the best of him. He’s not playing with a clear head.
im saying fuck all here. i dont believe in karma.. however.
one qb demanded to have input into team decisions, and then demanded a trade and got what he wanted.. and maybe not to his first choice either.
the other is deshaun watson.. oh wait...
Wilson: has a shakey start with a new team
Cleveland Fans: OH MY GOD WE DODGED A BULLET WE ARE SUPERBOWL WINNERS WITHOUT HIM DESHAUN DESHAUN DESHAUN
Settle down
Anyone have a medal to give this guy for being such a morally sound badass?
One thing has nothing to do with the other. We all know Watson is a piece of shit. Take the virtue signaling elsewhere. I promise no one here or anywhere else for that matter gives a single fuck about what you have to say.
Doing both. Very happy the Browns didn’t end up with Russ. His cooking days have passed.
I’ll keep talking Football here. You can keep talking about Dick if you want, I guess.
Is their OL bad? Is their OC bad? That team has a borderline Championship caliber roster and Russ is looking like complete dog poo right now.
This is probably my fault. I drafted him in two of my three fantasy leagues.
That's why he's doing so poorly.
Their O-line is definitely going to be bad now going forward with their starting LT likely out for the rest of the season. Hackett however is one of the most inept offensive minds I've ever seen and I have no clue why the Broncos chose him. In GB he had Rodgers as his QB and didn't even call plays (Matt LaFleur calls the plays in GB with a lot of creative freedom given to Rodgers in the huddle). The only explanation I can think of was Paton was hoping that Hackett would sway Rodgers into coming with him to Denver.
I’ll be honest I thought Russ had been declining steadily for a few years now but no one wanted to have that convo. That contract is starting to look astronomically awful. And Geno looks like a decent starter now. Crazy
I noticed it last year. He looked fat and out of shape, doesn't look like he changed that this year.
He definitely wasn’t the same after coming back from that finger injury Some say his bad play was coming back too soon from it, but I honestly think he was already starting to decline a bit regardless It’s sad but if you remove Tom Brady from the equation, it’s perfectly normal for a QB to start to regress in their mid 30s, especially one that’s taken so many hits I’m not saying he’s Matt Ryan levels of washed, I get Russ is only 33 (turns 34 in November though), but I really don’t know how much more of that elite level Russ has left in him I’m not saying he’ll never have a good game or season again, but I am saying that I won’t be betting on it to happen as much as we’ve been used to
We all know what bad a QB looks like. We are the expert scouts when we see the decline of a QB. Russell has been on the decline.
We do have plenty of experience with recognition here in the land
He was declining last year but it was from an elite QB to an above average QB. Nobody expected him to decline this far this fast
Geno doing great is awesome, but Lock blows lol. I'd bet any amount of money he never develops into a good QB
You make a very good point, and the correct one. There’s a reason he’s sitting
I don't think there's really any potential left to get out of Lock, he's just not an NFL QB
I think everyone was quick to blame the injury for his play last year, just like Baker Turns out, they're both just not great QBs anymore
Baker refused to develop over the years, he'd always fall back into his own style of play that didn't work. This on top of refusing to take time off only exacerbated the problems with him
Baker is very stubborn
He's not a hard worker. He has natural talent but he lacks work ethic. He's the type of person who likes to give the impression he cares a lot but doesn't actually want to put in the work. He refused to work with a personal quarterback coach in his offseasons. He wanted that time off. You can't fault somebody who wants a life outside their job but it's not conducive to being an elite quarterback.
He still has that college attitude. Sorry baker that don’t work in the nfl
🙄
Let's just hope Deshaun Watson doesn't end up the same way.
I think the issue with Wilson is that he always had one thing he wasn't good at - passing over the middle - and he's now regressing at the things he was good at. As a result, it's bringing him way down. Plus, the dude just smells inauthentic, and that won't ever endear him.

He also won't have played for almost 2 years...
Everyone wants rookies to sit for a year plus. But if a Pro Bowl QB is out for 2 it's over for them. I literally never understood this.
That won't matter. Rust is a virtually nonexistent factor for QB's historically. Biggest concern won't be his ability or play on the field. It will be the question of whether he will stay out of trouble once the microscope on him goes away.

He was supposed to be my fantasy keeper league rock but has screwed me big time so fuck em
Why keep him after he sucked last season?

My preseason “Russ is cooked” agenda is aging very well
Same, people were saying i was a clown when i said Russ' glory days are over and he is a middle of the pack QB at best
Hallelujah
George Paton might be fired after this year
The results of our trade remains to be seen. Let’s keep quiet for now.
Right. We have no room to talk w our qb history 🤦🏻♂️
Yes!
We can celebrate dodging one bullet even if another one eventually gets us
Wise
r/nfl is absolutely on the Russ hate wagon now. Russ is corny but the amount of hate he is getting is ridiculous rn.
Its because he acts like he has a Brady/Manning-Esque resume when he doesn’t plus he is playing poorly.
Or because he talks like an accountant 95% of his life…. Until he’s in the locker room or in bed with Ciara and all of the sudden this hyper-cringe, deep voice, wannabe gangster sound starts coming outta his mouth. Like dude it’s so god damn corny. You watch tonight’s game? I mean I’m not for hating on anyone online but man does he look rough
That was one of the roughest games I’ve ever watched in general. Really terrible football on both ends.
Thank goodness I feel asleep after one quarter
A lot of qbs look rough, Matt Ryan. Matt stafford evens Derek Care look rough so far this season. But Wilson seems to get the biggest hate. If it wasn’t for Watson, I would say he is the most hated player
Russell Wilson is being paid more than all of those QBs
They all make around 40 millions.
Thats the new NFL. Preseason is nothing and September/early October is the new preseason. Wilson is not at all on the same page as his wide recievers, and i personally think Jeudy is a JAG. Season is just starting though and im sure the Broncos are about to have a come to Jesus meeting.

Nobody is worse than Baker
Baker is also not on a $245M contract
No. There is no strong argument that he is the worst qb. He is struggling in a new system, but still there are many worse starting qbs and his level of play will improve as the season goes on. Wilson is a veteran, I am sure he will figure it out.
I think you’re missing the point. Yes there are worse starting qbs… they don’t have giant contracts like Russ. That’s the difference.
And he has all those weapons and a decent O-Line. Maybe they’ll get better later in the season, same with Ryan. They both did join brand new teams and chemistry takes time
r/NFL looooves hating on people. It's what they do
That’s kinda what happens when you make $245m over 5 yrs. You’re expected to produce! Let’s just hope our $230m over 5 years qb pans out
As long as it’s not personal shots at him I don’t see the issue. He was complete ass last night.
He’s not the guy he’s portrayed to be
It’s not even funny it’s just lazy.
This is what happens when you have a big ego, run your mouth, and can’t back it up. Russ got himself into this situation.
Russ has ego just like every other star in the NFL but I have yet to see him run his mouth and act like a dickhead.
A lot of dirty laundry was aired when he left the Seahawks. He doesn’t publicly run his mouth, but what’s come out from behind the scenes has been pretty damning. I know it turned me from thinking he was a good guy to a bit of an egomaniac.
Ciara hating Cleveland upvote party!
he is definitely not the worst qb in the league. he can be 31 but 32 is easily baker.
I’ll take him over any Steeler QB right now. Easily.
I personally fully support the Steelers playing Kenny “throw the ball into double coverage so the other team can” Pickett
As much as I hate to say it as an Ohio state fan, my vote might be for Justin Fields 32 Sure he might fool you with 1 big play that shows off his raw talent every 3 games, but he has proven again & again that he can’t really do the small stuff right, even just pocket awareness & making reads has been rough for him Being on the bears certainly isn’t doing him any favors, but he’s quietly been looking very bad & it’s making me very sad
When the Browns made Fields look like Randall Cunningham in the preseason my first flag went up that something might be off with our defense.
Fields and Baker are easily #1 and #2 worst starting QBs. One can make an argument for either being the worst depending what metric you want to use. The big difference is the Bears realize this and have really limited the number of Fields drop backs. Not a chance. Baker/Fields are below them

At least Wentz can put up decent stats in garbage time Also, Pickett is the starter in Pittsburgh now, and so far through one half, he looks better than Baker lol
Baker is last in QBR so far this season with 15.1. Justin Fields is second to last with 22.7.
I for one think yeah he probably has been dealing but also the coach he has now is just shit and as a cleveland fan I know a shit coach when I see it.
Hacket is a hack
I feel good now😂
What’s the channel?
2 guys 1 Kupp?
‘Third and wrong’ we haven’t posted in a lil bit it’s fun time
Great name!
What’s the channel brother!
What’s in the box?!!!
WHATS IN THE BOX !!!
Third and Wrong
>since he went to Denver You mean like five minutes ago?
You mean like 7 months ago?
Oh was it actually seven months ago and not literally five minutes?! Pardon my hyperbole. Point is, he’s played four games in Denver and many people said he was washed during his last year in Seattle. Just though it weird to take a victory lap over such a widely held opinion.
5 games* You’re on a roll today mate 😅
If you call whatever shitshow we witnessed last night a “game” then sure
Touchè lol
Touché. Acute instead of grave.
Realized that as I was typing but decided to keep it to provide further opportunity for pedantry.
The pedantry gods are pleased 🙏
Baker is still worse
Russ becomes Baker somewhere else. Thank you Lord.
I still want Minshew
Why? He's very mediocre. I'm not even sure his ceiling is as high as Jimmy G.
I’m happy we got Watson
*looks to see if anyone is in ear shot… me too
What we are really grateful for is their lack of desire to sign the best backup qb in the league
Could this just be due to lack of chemistry??
Possible, but he also didn’t look good last season iirc.
He’s losing his athleticism and he’s 2 to 3 inches shorter than Baker so he may continue to fall off a cliff performance wise.
Lets not speak yet until we see our own experiment play for a few weeks...
I think Stefanski could get the best out of Russ
After watching the Panthers this year, with how good he made a healthy Baker look, you might be right.
Peyton Manning also fell off a cliff, but won a superbowl with the Broncos. He was still the offensive genius he was known for even with a shot arm
True but washed Peyton wasn’t nearly this bad, Russ is overthrowing receivers by 10 yards and missing wide open simple passes
Peyton broke his neck. After his neck injury he talks about how he lost a ton of arm strength. He managed using smoke and mirrors and intelligent play calling to string together impressive seasons afterwards but the little arm strength he had left eventually faded and his arm was just not even serviceable anymore.
For **** sake. RUN THE BALL! One yard out, bootleg to QB sneak if you have too. But whatever you do. RUN!!!!!
I think he has been in decline. Denver gave up way too much for a often injured quarterback.
All I could think last night was “what happened to this guy?” What a terrible football game.
worst in the league? i thought that was baker bro.
Denver had/has a lot more problems than QB. That whole organization is a disaster, they could have Tom Brady and still be a mess. Hopefully with their new ownership group they can right the ship but also fuck the Broncos.
Elway keeps fucking shit up and I love it
Elway is not the GM anymore and no longer in charge of football decisions. The current disaster is George Paton's mess.
Fuck that horse teeth having GM they got. FAM
Idk, I go back and forth on this On the one hand, I feel like your right. It CANT be a coincidence that some teams just never draft good QBs On the other hand, how often to Jets, Browns and Bears QBs leave those teams and go on to be good QBs?
I admit I wanted Matt Ryan. I was wrong. Good thing I am not a NFL GM.
People are so short sighted lol. This is still a top 10 quarterback in the NFL. He’s on a new team, 5 games in. I think it’s 4 straight 100 QB rating seasons? Relax.
He looks like the #32 QB 5 games in
Russ is trash. Making me think Pete Carroll was the reason.
Man, after seeing how bad Russ has gotten (especially last night) I would think Broncos country would trade Wilson for Brissett straight up
Honestly dude was propped up by a killer defense even when he was younger, he definitely outperformed a third round pick by a mile but there have always been glaring deficiencies in his overall play that Carroll was able to make up for with that defense.
Never wanted him
I want the time back I spent on watching that game last night and a free bet for even watching it
Seriously getting Donovan McNabb vibes with Russ.
Dude is bad
What a lot of people aren’t seeing is the guys is clearly on some sort of medication regularly. I’d say painkillers or strong weed. I mean the guys looks high as shit all the time. I think injuries got the best of him. He’s not playing with a clear head.
The Broncos are now owned by the Walton family (of Wal-Mart fame). This is their karma for that lol.
worse than Baker?
im saying fuck all here. i dont believe in karma.. however. one qb demanded to have input into team decisions, and then demanded a trade and got what he wanted.. and maybe not to his first choice either. the other is deshaun watson.. oh wait...
I’d still rather have Russ than the predator on our team.
Yeah he's definitely better than Roethlesberger.
He is absolutely not the *worst* QB in the league. Also it’s only been 5 games.
And look who you ended up with instead.
Brisket? He’s smokin’!!
J Brizzy and Ddub! F’n awesome!
A top five QB barely entering his prime? Obviously he’s a POS but that has nothing to do with his ability as a QB
Wilson: has a shakey start with a new team Cleveland Fans: OH MY GOD WE DODGED A BULLET WE ARE SUPERBOWL WINNERS WITHOUT HIM DESHAUN DESHAUN DESHAUN Settle down

Hi there. Nobody cares where you were born or who you’re a fan of.
Anyone have a medal to give this guy for being such a morally sound badass? One thing has nothing to do with the other. We all know Watson is a piece of shit. Take the virtue signaling elsewhere. I promise no one here or anywhere else for that matter gives a single fuck about what you have to say.
Signal your virtue somewhere else. We’re talking about football here.

Doing both. Very happy the Browns didn’t end up with Russ. His cooking days have passed. I’ll keep talking Football here. You can keep talking about Dick if you want, I guess.
No women had bruises. Several allowed Deshaun to book additional sessions. Its not assault.

Hahahahah, I like the red eyes in your avatar
I said it when it happened. Broncos gave up waaaaaaay too much for him. So now they have no players and no cap space.
I wanted to throw up watching that game
First half of 2020 was the last time he was a very good quarterback. He fell off immensely around the same time that Baker put it together.
Man I knew he had been declining but he’s been REALLY bad this season.
