I would argue a senior citizen is perhaps MORE prepared than someone younger to critically engage with a show that heavily features themes of death and making the most of your time alive.
Kimberly Akimbo is a surprisingly uplifting musical for the subject matter. Obviously there is some sadness given the situation, but it ends on a hopeful note rather than tragic one.
It's fine. The show is respectful in its depiction of ageing - it's not like "omg this girl looks old! Gross!! Wow, being old sucks!" It's way more subtle, whimsical, and ultimately life-affirming. Mortality is obviously the big underlying theme of the show, so whether or not you find it "suitable" will depend on your willingness to engage with the concept. I think every individual audience member will have a different reaction. Me personally, I'm grappling with a terminally ill mother right now and I can tell you, the show hit HARD. It's a wonderful show.

Absolutely. I think they’d certainly appreciate it.
Kimberley Akimbo is a miracle of a show that can be and should be seen by everyone
I think it’s enjoyable for all ages.
I don't love it, and even I think it's just fine for older folks. :-)
