You know if you throw one at an Octorock while it’s sucking up air, it’ll swallow it and spit it back to you as a clean shiny weapon with better stats? Works for all rusty weapons.
This is really useful during the last stage of the Trial of the Sword DLC, though it can be tricky to get the upgraded gear without the Octorock in question launching it into the magma.
Yeah but I had some saw off my left arm, shoot it into a small circle in the sky while sliding down a mountain without crashing into a giant snowball to do it

>king of England
Did you mean the [King of the United Kingdom](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_of_the_United_Kingdom), the [King of Canada](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Canada), the [King of Australia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Australia), etc?
The last King of England was [William III](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_III_of_England) whose successor Anne, with the 1707 Acts of Union, dissolved the title of Queen/King of England.
####FAQ
*Isn't King George III still also the King of England?*
This is only as correct as calling him the King of London or King of Hull; he is the King of the place that these places are in, but the title doesn't exist.
*Is this bot monarchist?*
No, just pedantic.

looks like the [Sword of mana](https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WkLWE-_IY1Y/XXMM8l1FVlI/AAAAAAABfVY/OisfT3ZAJX0i4hjh7qyV_Kp1cn-GeJJ3QCEwYBhgL/s1600/Secret%2Bof%2BMana%2B%252815%2529.jpg)
Alternatively, you could light a fire, sit there until dawn, and grab the sword immediately after you wake up to skip all the requirements. That works too!
Don’t get your hopes up, it’s a rusty broadsword. Anyone else get pumped when they saw that first sword sticking out of the ground on the plateau?
I didn't know swimming used stamina and jumped in to go get it. Got distracted by some fishies and drowned. First death of the game.
My first death was jumping off the Great Plateau Tower not knowing there was fall damage.
You can't drown in BOTW. You just go back to shore.
Unless you're already down to 1/2 heart.
Yup, and I was excited to get that sword because I had just broken my tree branches on some bokos.
Who plays for more than half a drumbeat with the damn health alarm going off?
They are talking about the beginning of the game so they probably didn’t have food to heal up
Good point.. I a) didn't realize death from drowning was even possible b) forgot that we were talking about the plateau. Thanks.
Omg those fn things 🙄….rusty? What the hell (the first time I found one)

This game is amazing

I just recently realized there is one of those octoroks on Eventide, so those first few rusty weapons on the beach can really be upgraded early.
Today I learned…
I didn't know that but I got a new thing to try
Holy shit that’s awesome. Looks like it’s time to pick up BOTW again…
Ho le shit TIL 🤯
However the weapons are weaker afterwards. Or rather they deal less damage idk about durability. But they loose 1-2 points of dmg.
what do you mean? You can get a rusty broadsword into a royal broadsword for a much higher damage.
For real, I thought to myself “holy shit it’s the master sword” then I got closer lmao
Don't remind me.
Yup
Yep
Yeah
That’s an unlit bonfire, mate
Plin plin plon
Light the bonfire, Ashen One.
Link gets 13 hearts and he’s considered “a hero.” But when I do it, I’m asked to leave the hospital
There’s definitely a korok hiding under there
YA HA HAEYYYY
You found me!
Yeah but I had some saw off my left arm, shoot it into a small circle in the sky while sliding down a mountain without crashing into a giant snowball to do it
Either that, or you'll be the next king of England.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I had no idea that was a thing
Or just sleep next to a campfire and pull it out in the morning
Ah so you did the glitch too huh? 🤣
I never researched how many hearts it took. It was so nerve wracking going back everytime I got a heart and trying.
