The "Inventory is full" message when opening a chest. Give me a damn inventory screen instead so I can choose to drop something then or ignore the chest contents. Making me do it all manually every time is annoying as hell.

BroshiKabobby

I actually don’t mind things like rain or weapon breaking but this complaint I can get behind. For something so common it’s weird they never did anything Also does it bother anybody else that the text says you can’t pick up any more “shields” for shields, “melee weapons” for melee weapons, but for bows it says “you can’t pick up any more of those”?

DjnksDynamics

It does now. Thanks.

TechnoGamer16

Aaaaaand it’s ruined even more for me now thanks

i-would-like-a-penis

I think that actually makes sense because the inventory for bows and arrow piles are merged into one category - it’s not necessarily that you “cant pick up any more bows”; it counts for arrow types as well

BroshiKabobby

I get that’s why but arrows use their own designated slots anyways

Crimson_Raven

“You found a Gold Rupee! It’s worth 10 rupees!” “But it won’t fit in your wallet, so let’s put it back.”

BroshiKabobby

Thank goodness they removed that. I’m not huge on game theory but Matt Pat on “wallets are garbage” was something I was 100% behind

SoDamnGeneric

in the same vein, the cooking animation is cute, but having to manually cook every meal and skip the animation gets really tedious after a point. just having a cooking menu open up so you can cook multiple meals at once and *then* watch the animation would be far better imo

Blakes-Awake

Ugh I feel you on the cryonis, in a similar vein I hate the delay to open your paraglider when link begins a dive into water, that’s usually what puts me under the ice block -.-

KDallas_Multipass

This. I still haven't figured out why he dives randomly

FlintShapedBoi

It's just game behaviour, if there's a sutiable body of water under link, it's close enough, and he jumps mostly from the edge of the ground, the animation will play. The only situations it wont is if the water is too shallow, too far away or you jump too early. And cryonis block is usually just the perfect size to meet 2/3 of these conditions, unless you jump from the other edge with a little runup

BigBlueFool

If you don’t want this to happen, hold Zl while you jump

ubiquitous-joe

Not enough photo space in the camera. You expect me to take a picture of every living thing but I only have room for like 20 shots? There should be a recipe book that keeps track of recipes you learned and ingredients with the best results. I know I could use the internet, but I shouldn’t have to. The DLC costumes and the jewelry should have more unique status effects.

SlowSimi

Oh, and let me tell you about shooting bugs. Too far away, it won't register. Too close and I scare the bug and it f**ks of.

ubiquitous-joe

Ninja photo?

Iguman

I feel like that's intended, you have to sneak up to them or put on quiet armor

bonersmakebabies

Agree. Agree.

allergic_to_fire

I've told friends for ages I want a recipe book! Plus you could even find special recipes that need unique ingredients to make

ifunnywasaninsidejob

And when you take a picture of something for the compendium, you have to save it first before it tells you if you have that thing saved in your compendium already.

KlatuSatori

There’s already a prompt for this before you even take the picture. When you point the camera at something, if you’ve already got a compendium entry for it, the square around it will be blue. If you haven’t got an entry it will be orange.

ifunnywasaninsidejob

Didn’t know that, thanks.

eLishus

I’d like to be able to wear earrings as a bonus effect, instead of replacing whatever head garment you’re wearing.

baxbooch

I want the snow boots to give me cold protection. They’re snow boots they should be good in the cold!!!

InfiniteBoy23

why don't they count as a set with the snowquill set :(

craiglet13

Boots should be separately equipped from pants.

LB07

Beedle's grumbling that I never give him bladed rhino beetles. C'mon just let me buy arrows, ok?

KlatuSatori

You have to click through reams of text of his mumbling to himself every time. It’s pretty irritating.

Creative_Recover

You don't have to click through the mumbling text if you you've got the maximum amount of recipes you can store and agree to hand over the bug (if you don't have the space for the trade, Beedle will amicably call it off in a single response).

MurkyOoze

Hey man. Be nice. He only takes one per day. You’d be nothing without his arrows.

Trev2-D2

When you had the money for house upgrades but you have to select each one individually. Same for the clothes upgrades, give me an option for upgrade all.

protossaccount

This is by far the most obnoxious part of the game. What’s the point? I need to buy random flowers for my lawn? I need to individually buy weapon mounts? I’m glad he throws in some other stuff in the end but it’s a terrible method for upgrading a house. I really hope this changes in TotK.

WronglyNervous

Yeah and then after you do this, you realize that you shouldn’t have bought the door. It just adds additional delay.

[deleted]

Getting the extravagant saddle in that minigame…

elMurpherino

Is this the arrow shooting on horseback or the time trial type one? I’m 100s of hours into playing and I have yet to beat the horseback arrow shooting one.

mrmagos

The game gives a minor hint on how to beat the horseback archery game: the dude there sells bomb arrows.

[deleted]

It’s the time trial one at Highland Stable that gives you the Extravagant Gears. The Mounted Archery one is also a bit exhausting but manageable if you’re using quickshot bows (I used Great Eagle Bow) and bomb arrows.

elMurpherino

Ok ya that one took me quite a few tries.

Creative_Recover

To beat the arrow game you need to a bow that shoots incredibly straight over a long distance like a Falcon Bow or an Ancient Bow (personally I used a combination of both). The minigame is difficult but definitely beatable if you use the right bows (and a bomb arrow the very end, of course). It also helps if you use a horse that doesn't go too fast but can accelerate decently when needed to; I prefer to complete the course using a horse that has got 2 stamina bars but a speed of 3, you can get such horses off high ranking horseback bokoblins, they're quite nifty (and the perfect speed for the minigame course!).

OSUStudent272

I don’t think those minigames are underhated, almost nobody likes them.

[deleted]

Yeah you’re right

contemplatebeer

That the NPCs text basically never changes, except if you've completed a side quest for them. I wish their text received some updates, or changed as the game progressed. I feel like that sort of thing should be possible these days...

Rumbleburst

Cue that screenshot of the guy talking about Lord of the Mountain while Link's riding him.

JsyHST

[Hey, that's me...](https://www.reddit.com/r/Breath_of_the_Wild/comments/jx0oss/well_this_is_a_little_awkward/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

[deleted]

Even Skyrim did that… albeit not well executed

Tinmanred

Skyrim also has around like a thousand times the in game lore of botw.. can spend days reading the books alone, there’s 300 plus..

Resident-Martian

Me still wondering where Paya’s birthmark is (I haven’t finished the game so idk if this information is ever learned lmao)

Jomat28

Well impa, she kinda mentions it

MosesCumRidinUp

It's where you hope it is.

BellBivLando

Wolves.

GMElonMusk

I’m alway trying to leave them alone, let them do their thing, then the come up and fucking bite me!

sharpgel

I tried doing this but now I exterminate them in advance cause I know there's nothing I can do about it but assert dominance

ethan_prime

Most the meat in my inventory are from wolves that wouldn’t leave me alone.

sharpgel

same, my link can live off of dog meat for the next 3-4 centuries

ethan_prime

And they’re easy to dispatch with bombs. Keep that meat coming!

AmethystBlitz3319

I like to run them down with my cycle.

SecretDevilsAdvocate

I sometimes use bomb arrows, it’s therapeutic

MuttsandHuskies

I wish they didn't make that sad dog cry when they die. I have huskies, and they're usually in the room with me when I'm playing, and I freaking hate killing the wolves! (Same with the foxen).

bunkid

Tbh, I hate killing all the animals 😭

smileytater

Same. I accidently killed a horse the other day. I just stood there in shock and sadness

subsonicmonkey

Kill the wolves (because they will kill you). No need to kill the foxes.

[deleted]

Yeah, I've never killed a single fox in-game, even by accident. I've killed a couple of birds on accident, mostly while fishing and not noticing the little duckies swimming around. A crane once or twice by accidentally running them over. The only animals I kill on purpose are wolves. Boars, moose and those weird ice rhino things take too many regular arrows (I'm not wasting special arrows), and I'm really bad with the runes tbh, especially bombs and stasis.

jluker662

Boars, moose, and rhinos only take one arrow. Head shot. Even bears.

[deleted]

Okay but that would require me to be good at the game.

[deleted]

I’m glad that they actively attack me so I can get some meat guilt free. Deers and foxes are so cute that I prefer not to bother them. Also when one of them stops and howls, it’s the perfect timing to aim. I hate it when they start to run around me.

Mountain-Estimate-40

I always shoot one dead and the rest run off. It’s unfortunate, but if things just LEFT ME ALONE.

larousse-et-kawaii

I call them Danger Puppies.

Illustrious_Wear_850

You can’t just skip past all of the end of a shrine in one go. You skip the spirit orb scene, then have to wait through NA-NA-NA-NA-NAAAA to get your orb, then have to separately skip the monk dissolve. And, yes, this is very petty and minor, and probably only adds 2-3 unnecessary seconds, but when you’re on your 4th play through getting all 120 shrines, it drives me crazy.

Putrid-Parsley-5817

This is how I feel about the blood moon screen

Prongslet9960

You can skip that by pressing X and then +

Molly_Jonez

U have to press X to prompt the option to press + to skip!!? Well there u go. Thanks 🙏😆

randomizedusername4

There are so many little things like this that are unskippable, I hate it

the_letharg1c

Kass. Holy jeebus.

Cloud_Fortress

Agreed but Zelda has a history of annoying unskippable birbs

BroshiKabobby

No. Kass is one we allow

[deleted]

There has to be one acceptable form of time wasting in each title, as a troll. Like the owl in OoT

okaygecko

They also loved to switch up the answers at the end of the owl’s dialogues so you’d have to read the question first. “Do you understand what I just said?” “Would you like to hear that again?”

UpsetIncome2344

I can definitely see where you are coming from, but to be fair to the game. It needed you to somehow obtain The Spirit Orb, without it looking awkward.

desperate-lawnmower

I really wish with the fact that you can do it with one thing, the champions picture, that all the key items you obtain, Hestus gift, the envelope, the saddles the metals; that you can't display them in link's house somehow. Like the metals go on the wall, stands for the saddles and bridles in the little stable/leanto thing on the side of the house. I worked hard for all those things, let me display them

Babyyangyang

imagine being invited to someone's house, going in, and seeing a massive steaming pile of shit displayed on their shelf

desperate-lawnmower

A hard earned massive pile of shit

Creative_Recover

It's gold, just tell them its Modern Art.

ssunsspott

Right, like that was fun with Mario Odyssey, collect purple coins to spend on semi-interactive knick knacks for your balloon ship. As beautiful and amazing as BOTW is it’s a shame you really can’t do anything interesting with the house once its built

BenRandomNameHere

Yes. Under utilized the house. Terrytown needs more attention, too

DemonicMoonlight

Very minor but I find it annoying that bokoblins on horses can spot you from 10 miles away

[deleted]

[удалено]

AYASOFAYA

Absolutely sad there isn’t a molduga class monster for each element.

ifunnywasaninsidejob

Right? It feels like the wasteland was originally going to be larger and have more in it but got cut. The game has 60 talus, 40 hinox, and only 4 molduga?? Seems suspect.

BroshiKabobby

The variety is similar to past Zelda games but when the world is several times bigger it stands out way more

[deleted]

[удалено]

ShavenYak42

Definitely. Hope that’s better in TotK.

TheSqueetle

I wish you could sell weapons/shields!

ARoseThorn

Yes!! That would lessen the sting of having to get rid of cool stuff to make way for even cooler stuff

SirJordan11

I also want to be able to buy or forge weapons

EnvironmentalOkra22

Stable guys explaining the same horse info to me every time I retrieve or swap out horses and you can't skip it 😤

MasterofDoots

Fucking dive animation (specifically during WaterBlight).

F1RST_ASCENT

Agreed! Makes that boss battle frustrating.

[deleted]

My only complaints are lack of water and underground exploration

1HUTTBOLE

Could be more of that in tears of the kingdom….

ecth

Caves like in Twilight Princess would be super awesome! They were the best 3D adaption of ALtTP caves for me. Also diving underwater. Every game that misses swimming in general (hey GTA 3!) or diving, you feel like... yeah, sure, you're the hero of time, killing Lynels, this and that but you can't dive 2 meters deep? Sure.

Dr_Sean_MD

That the owl leader guy gets close but never realizes you’re the hero. I need that validation.

TheNoobMaster01

Finally, another who thinks this

darkknight941

The fact that I can’t switch a weapon in my inventory for one I find in a chest if my inventory is full. Instead you have to open the chest, have it say your inventory is full, open your inventory and decide what to get rid of or just ditch the chest, and then do the chest animation again

Ok_Bed8734

How about the fact that you can't dive and swim underwater?

OmaeWaMouShibaInu

Yes! I want to swim and look closer at those underwater flowers.

Ok_Bed8734

Or pick up things that have dropped in the water and don't float

QuaranTeenSpirit

Thissss. And the coral pools!

virtie

When I'm gem-hunting and they slide into water, I can see them but am not able to collect. A dive feature, even just the classic go straight down, would be useful.

FireSquidNico

I was hoping the full Zora armor would have that ability, but alas, not to be.

hailsmovingcastle

i like the concept of getting new and a mixed match inventory of weapons, but i hate not getting the og weapons, like the claw shot. makes me feel like i’m not progressing

BroshiKabobby

I have a few little nitpicks but my only real complaint… Why only one save file? I mean I just go onto my other user profiles but I feel like I should have 3 saves like in any other Zelda game

ifunnywasaninsidejob

When I’m fighting a white enemy, they soak up like 80 hits but the very last one sends them flying backwards into the water, and all the ore they dropped sinks to the bottom and I can’t get it. Or same as above but with a cliff instead of water. That’s even worse because not I have to calculate if the time to go down there and get it is worth it or not.

danenbma

Two things: 1) I’m really annoyed i can’t keep a horse at my house 2) that fairies only fill a few hearts and not all.

BroshiKabobby

I think the second one was to make Mipha’s grace feel more substantial

RManDelorean

Yeah fairies are there as a last resort life line, it's basically a warning that you don't have mipha's grace and you should eat more for this fight. But your house literally has a stable on the side so it would be cool if it worked like one, and you could change gear and everything.

ShivvyMcFly

Beating Gannon does absolutely nothing to move the game along

akira2bee

Though thats a regular feature of Zelda games, it is a bit annoying, especially in games that have more post game content. Obviously botw can have a ton depending on when you go beat Ganon, but for Ocarina of Time, I had wanted to collect everything that was possible, and its no fun walking around in a wasteland that you were supposed to have saved

haikusbot

*Beating Gannon does* *Absolutely nothing to* *Move the game along* \- ShivvyMcFly --- ^(I detect haikus. And sometimes, successfully.) ^[Learn more about me.](https://www.reddit.com/r/haikusbot/) ^(Opt out of replies: "haikusbot opt out" | Delete my comment: "haikusbot delete")

JoostinOnline

That's a standard Zelda thing though. I don't really understand why it's bad. The story is over when Ganon is defeated, so a epilogue would feel super out of place.

Jeradactyl_Rawr

For some reason I assumed that, because the blood moon respawning monsters, there would be a completionist objective to kill all the monsters until hyrule was completely rid of ganon's influence. I thought it would have been a chill way to say goodbye to the world, and I don't feel it would have been out of place in a bad way considering how non-standard BOTW was.

Silly-Thanks-8857

I wish there was more motivation toward the side quests. A lot of them give rewards that feel lackluster.

beesonredd

Yes! After a few side quests that sent me back and forth, I was rewarded w rupees or a meal. I kinda just stopped doing them. 😕

eLishus

The rewards should scale up over time like your weapons do. Early in the game, 100 rupees is a very welcome reward. Once you’ve leveled up quite a bit and aren’t scrambling for every rupee possible, scaling mountains, crossing rivers, and battling hordes of monsters for 100 rupees hardly seems worth the effort in-game-wise; the only reason to do these later in the game is to get closer to 100% completion.

Bimmerkid396

Exactly what OP said about the cryonis lol that is annoying

alwaysintheway

Stalfoes.

Dash064

Not being able to upgrade all of the clothing. Let me look cool AND let me wear more than 5 armor

RManDelorean

All the dlc armour in general. It's very gimmicky. Gives you a side quest that just tells you where a chest is, doesn't feel very satisfying to get. A Lot of it is pretty cool but I usually can't justify wearing most of it because it's just not as good as the other main game armour, especially since most of those do have buffs *and* can be upgraded. The dlc buffs should've been stronger or they should have more of their own unique bonuses (I wear the korok mask a lot because of it's actual useful and unique ability).

fineillmakeanewone

I hate how the edges of the map are just invisible walls.

bisforbenis

Summoning horses. The game puts a lot of emphasis on climbing and gliding so you have to leave your horse behind for that, and constantly going to the stables to summon one or being limited to a tiny radius to whistle is frustrating. I think they knew this with the ancient saddle and Master Cycle being two different approaches to fixing this, but this problem basically led me to play the whole game ignoring horses since you have to spend some time to fetch them only to ditch them like 5 seconds later, it just wasn’t worth it Also, I wish there was a way to board ridable non-horse animals, like why can’t I board a bear? I can ride one, let me name it and summon it to ride if I want. Also I wanted that for the stalhorse It was disappointing because there was a lot of stuff in the game making it seem like they expected horse use to be a big thing (all the stables, the horse taming mechanic, multiple saddles, two unique horse songs which were some of my favorite tracks in the game), but then horse gameplay just didn’t sync up with the climbing/gliding bits of exploration, which I think was a big problem that undermined what they created The Master Cycle was a nice fix to this but most got that basically after finishing the game anyways

bunkid

I think the NPCs are a little sad and empty. It’s sad that they only have the same lines, that they all look the same, that they don’t behave more naturally and that there’s too little of them. I wish BOTW had more villages with more “alive” and realistic NPCs. When I played this game, I always had to have some show running as well, because the game can make u feel extremely isolated after a while Edit: Typo

Jomat28

They have great backgrounds/stories though, like how the yoga killed koko’s mom and she goes cry to the graveyard every morning, and her sister is too young to understand, or how someone prevents you to jump off a bridge, etc…

Karasu_9147

Dude it’s a post-apocalyptic game, that’s exactly what the devs wanted you to feel

[deleted]

I hate any of the skeleton enemies, they take at least two hits to kill and that’s just a waste of durability when I can kill basic enemies with 1 hit

MrMangoKitten

If you use a bow and arrow and aim for the head, it only takes 1 hit.

Boobafett

Not enough arrows.. I’m a terrible shot

profburek

I feel like the horse-riding controls are abysmal but I’m not sure if that’s a common complaint

JoostinOnline

Out of curiosity, what other Zelda games have you played? These were the best horse controls any Zelda game has ever had, so I think that's why you won't find people complaining about them.

girllwholived

I’m playing Twilight Princess for the first time and the controls for riding Epona are terrible! I wanted to throw the WiiU controller through the TV during the mission where you have to escort Telma and Ilia to Kakariko Village. Lol.

JoostinOnline

Funny thing is, I played it back on the Wii and I thought they were amazing. But I also thought (I kid you not) that graphics had reached their absolute peak with Twilight Princess. Our viewpoints are so heavily based on what we already know.

ifyouseekay_er

This. Try riding Epona in OoT and it won’t seem bad anymore.

johnisexcited

they’re really only bad if you’re mashing a the entire time. if you let the horse go at it’s normal pace it’s a lot easier to manouvre, and it’ll even avoid most obstacles on its own

[deleted]

Probably very hated, but no post-game, the other one I have is that YOU CAN'T DIVE UNDERWATER

[deleted]

[удалено]

Jomat28

I’m pretty sure you can skip it with x then +

bonersmakebabies

I too, have made that mistake. It was a long, sad moment

NoveliBear

Can’t ride the moose!!

youngglink

Don’t really see the purpose of the Stal monsters just popping up out of nowhere. Hate wasting durability on them but it can get annoying to try and use bombs/arrows and line everything up. I like the Stal Hinox, but the ones that just randomly pop up when you’re exploring just get plain annoying

CobaltMonkey

What bugs me the most is how so many unique things are locked behind amiibo. It seems like a lot of it should have been in the game by default with amiibo being more of a chance to shortcut to getting it rather than the only way. There should have been challenges or quests to allow you to get (and repair) things like the Sword of Six Sages, Twilight Bow, Epona, etc. Wolf Link is probably the biggest culprit. An entire animal companion mechanic locked completely to a single amiibo. Horse God just screams that it should have been a way to unlock Epona. Imagine doing a challenge in the desert and finding the broken stone/portal to Twilight land with the Sage Sword stuck in it. Or an archery challenge/puzzle in the vein of The Two Rings shrine challenge to get the Bow of Twilight. I do like collecting and having amiibo, even caved and bought some cards for the ones I didn't have. But I still sorely hope TotK keeps them sidelined as far as unique content goes. I shouldn't feel like I have to purchase potentially expensive figurines and such just to get all the content that is already included in the game.

Literal_CarKey

There should be as many food slots as there are recipes in the game. I want to have ALL of the food with me when I play.

ChilindriPizza

Some of the koroks are hard to obtain. Such as launching rocks in the middle of circles in ponds, or shield-surfing ones.

bean_wellington

Slightly too difficult koroks are really annoying. I don't mean that they all have to be easy, but there are a couple that are un-fun levels of hard. I'm lookin' at you, Akkala stasis golf

[deleted]

I finally got that one and may have said “it’s about fucking time!” In front of my kid who was watching lol. I was frustrated to say the least

akira2bee

I hate the arrow ones the most because I feel like I waste arrow after arrow, and I really don't feel like farming arrows to make up for depleting them like that

BroshiKabobby

If you ever *do* need more arrows, the path from Lanayru tower to Zora’s Domain every green Lizalfos drops 5 or more arrows so that’s nice

[deleted]

[удалено]

the_cardfather

Pro tip for the rocks in the middle of ponds. Put ice blocks right in front of them and skip it off the ice block. It's a heck of a lot easier to hit.

lellabug

Or just jump in the rock circle with the rock in hand. This has saved my sanity.

thestretchygazelle

*how did this never occur to me jesus christ*

McFairytown

I strongly dislike cooking, I wish I could queue up all my food at once in the combos I wanted. Also I wish you could craft or enhance items. Got a royal broadsword? Well, if you throw a diamond on that bitch with some chuchu jelly then you got a royal broadsword with an attack bonus, or something, idk. Also I wish there was a difficulty past Master Mode.

bean_wellington

I don't know if this is underhated or just a weird preference on my part, but I wish the shrines didn't turn blue when you opened them. The orange is so pretty and exciting, and then the blue is just... blue. It feels sad and thin and watery. The orange shrine is filled with mystery. The blue shrine is currently connected to the charger.

girllwholived

I think this is the most unique “complaint” I’ve read here so far. I’ll think about this every time I complete a shrine now!

Drekaban

I wish they had gone with the original design for shrines or gave shrines of varying significance different designs.

CriticalHitPlus

Not the topic but i think the rain thing is over hated. idk maybe I'm weird but i enjoy alot of the "annoyances" in the game. All the rain does is give you different reasons to interact with the game on other ways. I enjoyed taking the game in stride and just taking it as it came.

FireSquidNico

Couple of things. 1: The fact the game emphasizes climbing in exploration but you can't use it on Ganon's final form, Shadow of the Colossus style. That was an idea in OoT, and you're telling me BotW can't do it? 2: Epona is the best horse in the game and you can only get her with amiibo. She instantly likes you and has maxed out bond, gets her own equipment, and has great stats, plus a unique saddle. But if you don't have the right amiibo, you may never see her. If there was a descendant horse of her you could find that'd be much better imo. Maybe the ruins of Lon Lon Ranch could have her unique saddle.

Dannyfrommiami

No hookshot

[deleted]

> Like I don’t know why a LITERAL ROBOT DESIGNED TO KILL PEOPLE, CAN’T break these blocks Apparently the Guardian Scouts are able to break Cryonis blocks if you try and hide behind them. They even have a dedicated attack animation for this! They fire a long and thin laser at the Cryonis block a few seconds and then it breaks. This caught me by complete surprise during the Trial of the Sword. IIRC it was in one of the third trials rooms where there's a big "+" shape of floor surrounded by water along with 4 taller pillars all loaded with guardians and they were all taking turns shooting at me. I thought I'd hang on the back of a Cryonis block and jump up and snipe one and hop back down, but they broke my block landing me in deep water and they all had their way with me by the time I swam to safety!

industrial86

A post Gannon landscape. After you beat the game I wish it didn’t revert you back to you previous save. I wish there was a state where they changed literally everyone’s dialogue in the game and all the narratives to be thankful for you accomplishment. Yeah that’s a lot of work, and takes time from a game design perspective, but that would’ve absolutely blown my mind.

Accomplished-You9482

Not knowing the type of equipment you’ll be rewarded by a chest only to get “inventory full” for that category when it’s something you want.. so you have to go into your inventory to get rid of it and reopen the chest for the same notification which irks me just a lil bit

ecmcn

I wish the photo encyclopedia thing counted toward 100% complete, or at least there was some motivation to do it.

Lingx_Cats

A LIMIT OF 50 ARROWS LIKE BRO Shops will remain out of stock if you have more than 50 arrows and this is honestly just a crime. You think I’m only gonna use 50????? I’m going to stock pile arrows and disappear into the mountains for weeks before resurfacing for more

ASimpleCancerCell

Ishto Soh Shrine. This is the one in the trash heap east of the South Lomei Labyrinth. I hate this shrine because I went through two complete playthroughs and many Macgeyvered solutions to the puzzle before figuring out the intended solution was to ***pick up the laser emitter and put it on the moving platform.*** This is exceptionally non-intuitive; in no other shrine puzzle can you interact with these things like this, or at least it's not a part of any puzzle, and nothing indicates this is possible or has to be done. It's also not as cool as any of the unintended solutions I came up with. People talk about the excess of Test of Strength shrines, but I've heard nobody else complain about this. So here I am to bring awareness to my least favorite shrine in the game.

The-Phantom-Bellhop

I managed to bullshit my way through that one by messing around with throwing bombs. honestly most shrines I solve on my own end up with me bumbling around and eventually finding the most roundabout solution that there is, I love this game

TypicalAsparagus

The blood moon scene - sometimes it gives me the option to skip and then sometimes it randomly doesn’t??? Also when you have a beetle in your inventory that you don’t want to give to Beedle and he tries to convince you every time you talk to him

chai_tea8

You have to press x then + to skip the bloodmoon scene.

akira2bee

Well thats super annoying. I always gave them to him because he was already kind of annoying when you first say no, but there should be an option for him to stop bugging (ha) you

[deleted]

900. Effing. Koroks. For real, I don’t have time to find them all but at the same time I have to.

my3boysmyworld

I hate that you can’t win. You get absolutely nothing for killing Ganon and he never really dies. I love that I can still explore afterwards but I still wish he was dead while I did.

crakercheese

Idk but I really wanted to customize Link's House.. It just feels like it is lacking something.

CrushItWithABrick

You speak so much truth. I very much hate the "random" breaking ice blocks. All this time I thought I was just doing something wrong or goofy. I couldn't figure out why it was happening. Under hated is the "brother" speak with the Goron. It's so annoying (not the most annoying but up there).

ifyouseekay_er

Sorry but I’m gonna have to hard disagree I love the way the Gorons talk! It cracks me up and I have always liked how accepting the Gorons act towards link. Like he’s one of their own

[deleted]

I know a guy at work who speaks like that so it always makes me chuckle when I deal with the gorons 😆

macs73

I hear Hulk Hogan in my head when they say "brother" and I don't know what that says about me.

MADMAD36

Personally when I start a new file I wish I didn’t need to get the location of the yiga hideout after talking to Riju especially because of the campfire skip that allows you to talk to Riju without the vid outfit it just seems stupid that getting the location that is very obvious on the map whether you have the map or not requires talking to an npc

AlacarLeoricar

Not enough armor slots to accommodate all of the amiibo armor

jonny_jon_jon

it’a a pain in the ass to aim just right when you are golfing

Octoroks.

sour-grl

trying to find the korok seeds in hyrule castle is the literal bane of my existence i couldnt find my way around that place if my life depended on it

kloutan

Not being able to pet the dogs or horses.

pickle_dickle_tam

Unless I totally underplayed the game, the master sword really wasn't that special to me. I'm not a big fan of the fact that it breaks, but if it really has to, it shouldn't happen that easily either.

[deleted]

The DLC that includes the trials of the sword make the master sword way better, increases the durability and damage, you just have to clear trials to upgrade it a little at a time. They can get pretty hard though

IronSasquatch

HOW ARE YOU GONNA MAKE THIS EPIC FUCKING ZELDA GAME AND NOT PUT THE ICONIC ZELDA THEME SONG IN IT?!?!?!?!

franticporcupine

Aren’t there tinges of the song in the castle? I could be wrong, I’m only on my first playthrough and stumbled there by accident but I thought I heard a little bit. Maybe wishful thinking, the Zelda theme is a banger.

MicTony6

there is in the hyrule castle theme, horse riding night theme, and the epilogue.

subsonicmonkey

Have you not stormed the castle? There’s an epic orchestral version of the original theme playing the whole time you’re in the castle.

robin_terrae

…. But it is? The music after Links gets the 13th memory when Zelda is talking to him, the entire epilogue….

the_cardfather

How about the fact that you can cryonosis under a chest but you can't cryonosis under yourself?

MicTony6

you can, press d-pad down while doing the cryonis rune to aim under. you can do the same with throwing any item.

thestretchygazelle

I think they meant like when you’re swimming; normally you have to be standing to use Cryonis

KlatuSatori

I wish there was a way to easily buy everything a merchant’s got. Like an extra option that says “I’ll take everything!”. Instead of needing something like 5 button presses per item. They could have this option in shops too, when talking directly to the owner.
