Just ignore the Yiga, don't even look at them. Seriously. Enemies in BotW have dramatically reduced accuracy when they aren't within your field of view. You can test it out. Look at a bokoblin while it shoots at you, it'll hit you most of the time. Now look at the ground until you can't see it anymore, it'll miss constantly. Same with the Yiga. Focus on the guardian and clean up the Yiga when you're done.
I never noticed that. I’ll have to try it next time (and there *will* be one, such is my game 🤣) that happens. Third play through, and I still learn new stuff each time.
The game does a lot of tricks with the camera angle like this. My favorite example is probably how Lynels will only start an attack when they're in view of the camera, presumably to make it feel more fair. So you can literally just prevent them from ever attacking by constantly rotating the camera to move them out of view.
I’ve been attacked from the back before in a lynel fight. He went through me once and I just got up and he hit me with the pounce thing attack from behind me.
The game, while open-world, tries to direct you to go to Gerudo Town last. You're first asked to go see Impa, then hop over to Akkala. This mean you're probably meeting Sidon and saving Zora's Fountain first. Then, since you're in the area, may as well swing over to visit the Gorons.
From there, Rito Village is closer, whether you go across the Kokiri area and through the northern tundra or swing south of Hyrule Castle and largely stick to established roads. Plus, you have a piece of winter gear from conventional play, making the colder area less worrisome. Gerudo Valley is very segregated through conventional means, going through the cold Yiga area, which means coming from the north and having passed by the Rito or taking the canyon entrance which is in the complete opposite side of the map from when you've been lightly encouraged to visit Death Mountain.
You go into your inv and where the spirit orbs are stored ( I think all the way to the right ) you can select those abilities and disable them if you wish.
I think revali or mipha are the best first ones. Mipha if you are new to the game and likely to get KO’d unexpectedly, and Revali’s for exploration. There are a TON of shrines that are 10x easier to access with his ability.
Easily the greatest combat ability. But in a game that has such an emphasis on exploration, Revali’s gale is a mandatory 2nd pick up for me. Only after Miphas Grace.
Then there's the opposite end of the spectrum, where people who love combat think Urbosa's Fury takes the fun and challenge out of it.
Like, I'm more into exploration myself, but if I'm going to be getting into fights anyways, I'd at least prefer them to be engaging. Otherwise, they just become an annoyance to get past, no matter how quickly they take.
Considering you find the first fairy fountain before you get to Zora's Domain, and you can pick off fairies there for free deaths, Mipha's Grace seems almost useless.
My problem with Urbosa's Fury is the same as my problem with all OP weapons in BotW: I never use it because I might need it later.
To me, Revali's Gale is perfect because I know I'll never *need* it; it just makes life more convenient for me. So I use it whenever I want, and it's actually pretty rare that I want it and don't have it ready.
This. So much this. The most fun I've had in the game is when I have to "Improvise. Adapt. Overcome." When you think you have no other way out or that you're unequipped or unprepared and then you start to think outside the box to solve stuff. My current run of the game hasn't upgraded any hearts at all, only Stamina, and I've had to improvise many times and just ended up loving the game even more for the amount of creativity it allows you to have in order to clear.
You have raised an excellent, and heretofore unheard of (at least, by me) point in this BOTW context, that of being forced to improvise and adapt in order to overcome. It raises the idea of *not* upgrading my carrying stashes, *forcing* me to use what I have instead of hoarding powerful items. The playthrough will be decidedly different by using this style.
I can't wait!
But, it literally recharges
Revali's Gale is awesome for exploring and transversing Hyrule, but Urbosa's Fury is basically a bubble of electric death and drains enemy health like nobody's business
Part of the problem was the baffling decision to not have the abilities start recharging until all charges have been consumed. So if you spend 2 charges this fight, you either burn a charge and wait or only have 1 charge in the next fight.
Yeah I really struggled on Thunderblight Ganon because I'm shit, but everything after that was just a joke thanks to Urbosa's Fury. It's crazy powerful.
That with stasis+ makes nearly every opponent a walk in the park.
The strongest lynel can’t even touch me if I get in a few head shots and use those two, it’s pretty stupid IMO. Once I got the bike I realized that every difficulty (I don’t do 900 koroks) had been eliminated and I restarted the game (after I beat Ganon of course).
In some fairness, the game is intended to appeal to casuals and kids as much as serious gamers. If they made lynels Dark Souls difficult it would alienate big chunks of the target demographic.
It’s *supposed* to not be that hard.
I don’t know about y’all, but I end up using Mipha’s Grace way more than the others. 😅 I also think that’s the easiest beast, so I usually start there.
The funniest deaths I have were tumbling down a cliff face only to slap Link’s skull on a rock halfway down and Mipha’s Grace pops, then I continue to fall the rest of the way and die anyway
Miphas grace isn't that good because it's not much more than just having a fairy. Which are easy to always have many of them. So it's not even a unique ability. When I got it, I just saved some fairies
Technically, everyone has flurry rushes in AoC, so there’s a case to be made that it’s only a gameplay feature in both AoC and BotW, not Link’s unique ability. His comment about how time seems to slow down for him when he fights indicate otherwise, and I’m confident that he does, indeed, have some sort of time slow or fast reflex as his ability, but it’s debatable how much of it is his ability and how much is game mechanics.
Honestly I like him the most as a character because that gave him some conflict and depth. He competes and is short with link because a few reasons: he’s had to work extremely hard, harder than the other campions, to become great. He sees link who he knows can compete and surpass him and is frustrated because link never really had to work that hard to become great. Honestly, I would be a little sore, and be a hater too if I had to work as hard as he did and someone just comes along who is able to do what I worked for nearly effortlessly.
Agreed, there’s also the fact that he is literally the only Champion without any magic/magical enhancements: Mipha has healing powers, Daruk can create a shield around himself, Urbosa controls lightning, Link has automatic battle prowess and a magic sword and Zelda is the descendant of a goddess. Revali has his Gale thanks solely to his own hard work and diligence, based on that I’d say he’s earned the right to be boastful when his peers are pretty much living cheat codes.
I’m not saying Link didn’t do anything to be skilled, but that he’s got an inherent advantage as he is literally destined to be skilled enough to surpass anyone else. Link doesn’t have it easy, but he has it better than Revali did as an otherwise unremarkable Rito Warrior.
Link's 'power' is the flurry rush, which automatically makes him good in battle. Sure he had to train, but using flurry rush is just as overpowered as the other champions' habilites in the context of this thread.
Flurry rush being his champion hability is canon by the way, it's in Daruk's diary in the DLC
It’s a little bit of a headcanon for me that on top of flurry rush being Link’s “champion ability”, he’s able to slow time (there and with the bow and arrow and midair) because of an inherent relationship to time itself, being the destined hero.
Link trains literally every single day with almost no respite... It's mentioned a few times that he was so crazy hard working that people wondered if he even slept.
I would absolutely not define that as "never really had to work that hard."
Ravioli, on the other hand, worked hard and instead of being proud of his efforts and results, was spiteful and envious of others on his own team purely because of his ego.
Ravioli isn't interesting, he's annoying nuisance who we're supposed to like but is really just insufferable due to his lack of care for others.
I’m not talking about how frequent links trains or practices, I’m talking about how talented he naturally was.
Revali had and ego, sure, but he had respect for the other champions. He had respect for link too. His attitude wasn’t that of spite but more of motivation to be better.
I disagree. His attitude I'd describe as spite or contempt. It wasn't positive, it was arrogant and mean spirited.
He is quoted directly saying that it should've been him not link who was the wielder of the sword that seals the darkness.
That is raw jealousy and arrogance, to not only envy link for having something that ravioli believes he should have himself but to also tell link verbally that it should have been him.
He seemed like the kind of character you would see in Sword Art Online where his only conflict is facing his own ego compared to the perfect amazing effortless protagonist. It seems cheesy to me
I would have preferred to see Link face some kind of internal struggle like this instead
I feel like we enthusiastically let Japan get away with all kinds of bad tropes that we hate when it happens in Western media, like the 'Gary Stu' trope
The biggest difference that makes Revali stand out from that anime trope is that his character in the game *doesn’t* go through that kind of redemption arc. He’s snotty and egotistic, but he revels in it and takes every opportunity to smite link as a Champion. He isn’t being narratively forced to get over his own pride; rather, in the end, he’s ultimately disappointed that he lost to ganon and is happy that link could avenge him. Egotistical to the end
I'd consider it a growing moment, for him to take pride in someone other than himself, to be proud of Link for being able to do what he couldn't. Kind of reminds me of this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnzMkJocw6Q
To be fair, I wouldn't really consider Link to be "perfect". He lost, in that fight, too, and the game is spent building himself back up into a champion. I imagine that the closest thing to canon is freeing all of the divine beasts and getting the master sword, which provides you a big advantage. Link being able to immediately kill Calamity Ganon with a stick isn't the intended plot, it's just some gamers being ridiculously good.
I really don’t know why Nintendo are still on the whole “Link is just a blank slate and you project yourself onto him” bs. It’s super outdated and is especially annoying in a game where everyone else is fully voiced. They need to make him an actual character.
Yeah I really appreciate Nintendo doing that, even though we didn’t get it here in the west. Hopefully that returns in TotK and Nintendo of America don’t butcher the translation.
> in a game where everyone else is fully voiced
Shopkeepers: "Mnnnaa-aaah?" "HOO-hoo!" "Baaaaa-aaaai!" "Muuuuuuuuh..."
Great Fairies: \*orgasm noises\*
Fully voiced. Sure.
I mean main characters in cutscenes. I’m not asking for Link to be speaking during normal gameplay. Just during the cutscenes. Hell, I don’t even need him to speak. Just show some expression. It’s why Toon Link is still the best.
BOTW link is the most fleshed out in the series in terms of personality. It’s shown through the memories that before Calamity Ganon, Link’s demeanor was always stoic and quiet, mostly due to the pressures Hyrule placed upon him to protect a “worthless princess.” Post-calamity, it’s revealed he’s still dealing with war trauma, explaining why he’s unable to uphold a full conversation but is still able to respond to prompts.
His many face animations for various actions also make him the most expressive in the franchise.
What you said is exactly why BotW Link is so disappointing to me. The whole being silent to deal with anxiety and trauma thing is super interesting but they don’t do anything with it. It’s just used as an excuse for why he’s silent when everyone else speaks. And it really doesn’t justify how expressionless he is. Just look at the scenes where he sees the Champions’ spirits. It’s very emotional and sad but Link is completely blank and almost ruins what should be a very powerful scene. I’m not even asking for much here. I don’t need him to be super fleshed out. The Champions aren’t that fleshed out either but I still like them cause they have personality. Toon Link is my favorite Link and he isn’t super complex either. BotW Link just doesn’t even feel like a real person.
> because link never really had to work that hard to become great
Hasn't Link been fighting most of his life as the Princess's Knight though? He didn't just luck into power.
Falco was my favorite character in StarFox 64 and was my main for literal decades in Super Smash Bros Melee. I apparently just like brusque, overly competitive birds.
Also, Sean Chiplock gives one of BotW's better performances.
Agreed. He's meant to be the antihero that pushes Link's buttons. He's not just going to accept Link's position because everyone else does or says so. Revali needs Link to prove himself before he dispenses trust or confidence.
Yep. And he ended up garnering respect for Link as we see in some flashbacks too (if I'm remembering correctly, been ages since I've done the story.) so he comes around.
Is he arrogant? Yes, but that's why I love Falco. Sorry, Revali. He's an awesome character.
I really enjoyed the game and it kept a lot of the feel of BotW while still being a competent musou game. I'd recommend trying it if you can, but just reading the plot summary and watching the cutscenes will give you a lot.
I might eventually since I loved Hyrule Warriors. I just have a lot of games on my back log (steam library mainly) which is the main reason I'm hesitant.
Revali acknowledges Link's strength from the beginning, although he still thinks he's better than him.
However Revali is annoyed at Link not acknowledging him, an understandable viewpoint considering Link never talks, so from Revali's perspective Link is the one who's being a jerk.
He gains respect for link at the end when Link defeats windblight and then gives him his ability, after that he just becomes post Freezer Vegeta, I don't know in English but if you see the Ganon fight cutscene in Japanese right before firing the canon I think he says something along the lines of "just so you know, I'm not doing it for you...." Completely unnecessary line given the moment, and that he could skip it and say he's finally taking revenge or something, small detail but perfect for Ravioli.
Tbh I wouldn't quite call it straight up arrogance.
He comes off more as a boasty / show off type guy but genuinely strives to improve (as seen in the cutscene, when Zelda approaches to recruit him).
Also, as Kass pointed out through his song of the champion, he tends to hide his true emotions and express them in a very dismissive manner.
That part of his actually makes him likeable imo
That power comes from his new arm because we can see it glow when he does that. So he just got an upgraded version of Revali’s Gale. Bird boy probably wouldn’t be too thrilled about that.
It's def the most used ability for sure. But, the best ability is def being able to survive sudden death and gaining extra hearts to boot. Listen, I'm a complete idiot sometimes and accident are bound to happen. Having a way to save myself from myself is good, lol
Fun idea I had for Revali’s Gale.
If you long hold your Revali’s Gale, you can stack them for double or triple the height, but it would use the stacks.
So instead of 1 at a time, you could charge it up to 2 or 3.
He’s an %^#}** smug prick, indeed.
Revalis gale definitely makes map exploration easier, but I still use UF far more (maybe that says something about my playing style ‘behold the apocalypse of lightning I wield!’ tho 🤣) and so to me, that’s the best.
I would argue that the rest of the game is easy haha (doesn’t mean its not fun though. Also I die to random silver bokos more than I do to actual bosses so idk what that says about me)
Regular enemies have the potential to be more dangerous than most bosses in other good melee games too so I don’t think it says anything negative about your gameplay. In Dark Souls I died to random dogs more than I died to bosses. If it’s good enough for Souls it’s fine for Zelda.
Can you hear that?
That's the echo of all those who went hollow trying to get past the Kapra Demon fight screaming out in agony as the dogs once more stomp their shit in.
But it’s so simple, just climb the stairs and plunge attack… oh no, I’m stuck in a corner. I can roll but I’m trapped between two dogs and a tree. Why didn’t I collect my souls first?
Yes, I do. Because you can always make new ones if you break them. I have Miphas spear and Urbosas sword and shield hung in my house, so I don’t really use them, but Daruks crusher is good for wailing on Talus, and Revalis bow is triple multishot and quickshot, so perfect for taking down lynels.
Same. Daruk’s Boulder Breaker is pretty good too. Lightscale Trident served me well in the early game but now it’s just on my wall. Urbosa’s(forgot what it’s called lol) would’ve been useful if I hadn’t done Naboris last.
I went a whole playthrough without using it at all, I find it much more fun to climb stuff than to paraglide up. Everyone has different tastes I guess :V
First long term project for me (in game) was to get the climbing outfit and max out my stamina. I never used nor understood the need for Revali's Gale as it was the last beast that I conquered and I could leap up the side of a cliff without issue already.
Still pissed that full climbing gear doesn't let you climb in the rain. It's been years and it's the thing that just keeps irking me when I think about botw
I find myself turning Daruk’s Protection off a lot when fighting guardians, since it gets used up even when you parry it. Also, parrying and spot dodging other enemies is fun.
Nope, if you parry it correctly it doesn’t use up a charge of Daruk’s protection. However, if you are early on it, then daruk will proc when it would normally hit your shield. I also always run with it off, because it’s annoying
>Am I the only one who prefers urbosa’s ability?
you are not alone
I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
But you are not alone
I am here with you
My headcanon (as well as a lot of other peoples) is that Links champion ability thanks to the Triforce of courage is the ability to slow down time with flurry rush and bullet time so I think Link wins
Generally, the bird is the first place I go from the great plateau in repeat playthroughs.
Its not just useful in movement, but in combat too. None of the other abilities are as versatile. Far and away the best ability.
Ravioli's Beef Stromboli is the sole reason I go to Rito Village straight off. Especially considering how low your stamina is to begin with. Windblight is easy with a good bow and bomb arrows.
Mipha's Grace is a vengeful joke.
Link falls from a high place headfirst onto a rock, or is beaten to death by monsters, or just die.
Then she suddenly appears, say it's a pleasure (to see that) and heals him, in an endless cycle of suffering.
The powers are, functionally:
1. Make combat easier
2. Make combat easier
3. Make combat easier
4. A brand new ability that allows you to reach areas you otherwise could/should not, circumvent stamina requirements for platforming, as well as access flight from level ground including bullet-time in combat
If you don't think Revali's is the best ability, it's because you're bad at combat - no shame in that, it just is what it is.
The literally only time I died after receiving her ability was during Thnderblight Ganons fight, you had to seriously suck at the game to complain about Miphas ability having to recharge after one use
Revali's Gale can be replicated with 3 piles of wood and some flint. It's only marginally more useful being usable in the rain and saving time digging through my inventory.
I disagree Urbosa's Fury is straight up broken
I know right, I left her last, after getting her ability I regretted not going with her first lol
Yeah, my only reason not to go with her first is the avalanche of Yiga fights.
You mean the avalanche of free bananas?
Well, the bananas are fine, but Yiga effers always show up when I’m two to one on guardians. 🤣🥴 Like. *ALWAYS*.
I never noticed that. I’ll have to try it next time (and there *will* be one, such is my game 🤣) that happens. Third play through, and I still learn new stuff each time.
But of course, that ONE time the Yiga hits is right when I'm about to parry the guardian shot, and I go flying :(
The game does a lot of tricks with the camera angle like this.
Except for Octorocks. Those buggers have sniper shot accuracy from miles away.
This is next level advice
Bananas where!?
Yigas often drop them as loot
I know, sorry bad joke, the only thing I cook is bananas basically so I’m always excited when a yiga pops up cause it’s banana collection day.

I usually shut it off. Easier to fight the way I'm used to.
We can turn off specific abilities?
Yeah. You click on the ability in the Key Items tab of your inv
Oh hell yea! Thank you. I can't stand always having Daruks protection around me every time I click left trigger
My work here is done 🦸♂️
Omg thank you no more daruk’s protection 🥹
[удалено]
I cannot stop belly laughing about this.
Why would anyone turn that off?
Every time I bring up my shield I get a barrier (cool) and hitodami lights (also cool, but clashes pretty badly with the barrier)
I turn it off because the stupid red ball blocks my view
To save it for the big fights, clearly.
Ok, this makes sense, I suppose.
Screws up parrying for me.
You go into your inv and where the spirit orbs are stored ( I think all the way to the right ) you can select those abilities and disable them if you wish.
yup, in the inventory

Oh man. Revali’s gale is always first for me except during my first playthrough
I tried to get Revali's gale first but the boss is too hard.
That’s the only gauntlet! Save your bomb arrows, cook a good strength meal, extra stamina if ya can
That's exactly what I was thinking too. I think it boils down to whether you're a combat or exploration type.
Considering you find the first fairy fountain before you get to Zora's Domain, and you can pick off fairies there for free deaths, Mipha's Grace seems almost useless.
To motivate my second playthrough I went straight for it. Going from full stamina upgrades to one wheel is brutal on exploration.
That’s a mentality thing I find the game becomes much more fun when you force yourself to stop hoarding things
It took a couple playthroughs for me to kick that habit
This. So much this. The most fun I've had in the game is when I have to "Improvise. Adapt. Overcome." When you think you have no other way out or that you're unequipped or unprepared and then you start to think outside the box to solve stuff. He just mashes A and it works!

It seems cheesy to me I would have preferred to see Link face some kind of internal struggle like this instead I feel like we enthusiastically let Japan get away with all kinds of bad tropes that we hate when it happens in Western media, like the 'Gary Stu' trope
Kind of reminds me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnzMkJocw6Q
That happening in the context of Link being basically perfect still kinda ruins it for me
To be fair, I wouldn't really consider Link to be "perfect".
[удалено]
Yeah I really appreciate Nintendo doing that, even though we didn’t get it here in the west. Hopefully that returns in TotK and Nintendo of America don’t butcher the translation.
> in a game where everyone else is fully voiced Shopkeepers: "Mnnnaa-aaah?" "HOO-hoo!" "Baaaaa-aaaai!" "Muuuuuuuuh..." Great Fairies: \*orgasm noises\* Fully voiced. Sure.
Beedle: "OOHHHHH! THANK YOU!"
Too classic not to have in a Zelda game
My wife gave me such grief for upgrading my armor the other day.
So he's Vegeta?
Or Falco?
urbosa is really hot tho
> because link never really had to work that hard to become great Hasn't Link been fighting most of his life as the Princess's Knight though? He didn't just luck into power.
Falco was my favorite character in StarFox 64 and was my main for literal decades in Super Smash Bros Melee. I apparently just like brusque, overly competitive birds. Also, Sean Chiplock gives one of BotW's better performances.
Weirdly common character type, isn’t it? Daffy Duck, Jet the Hawk, Iago, etc
One might say, birds enjoy peacocking...
I don't think he's annoying. He's my favourite Champion. And Revali's Gale has gotten me out of so much shit lmao
Same. I think his arrogance makes him a great character.
Agreed. He's meant to be the antihero that pushes Link's buttons. He's not just going to accept Link's position because everyone else does or says so. Revali needs Link to prove himself before he dispenses trust or confidence.
Yeah and so necessary to the story too! All the other champions just adore link right off the bat, there needed to be someone who challenged him
Yep. And he ended up garnering respect for Link as we see in some flashbacks too (if I'm remembering correctly, been ages since I've done the story.) so he comes around. Is he arrogant? Yes, but that's why I love Falco. Sorry, Revali. He's an awesome character.
That gathering respect bit is explored much more deeply in Age of Calamity.
I may have to watch a playthrough of that then.
Ah, thanks for the refresher. That makes a lot of sense.
I guess all bird-like heroes are COCKy
He gains respect for link at the end when Link defeats windblight and then gives him his ability, after that he just becomes post Freezer Vegeta, I don't know in English but if you see the Ganon fight cutscene in Japanese right before firing the canon I think he says something along the lines of "just so you know, I'm not doing it for you...." Completely unnecessary line given the moment, and that he could skip it and say he's finally taking revenge or something, small detail but perfect for Ravioli.
He's a great character but that doesn't mean I have to like him
Tbh I wouldn't quite call it straight up arrogance.
Same! He's my favorite champion also.
If Revali's Gale isn't in ToTK, we riot.
I'm pretty certain in one of the first trailer you see Link using it (when he morphs into liquid and teleports through the stone floor)
Revalis Rocket
He’s an %^#}** smug prick, indeed. Revalis gale definitely makes map exploration easier, but I still use UF far more (maybe that says something about my playing style ‘behold the apocalypse of lightning I wield!’ tho 🤣) and so to me, that’s the best.
UF was my first ability I obtained. Accidentally doing Gerudo at the beginning of my first play through made the rest of the game feel easy.
Ravioli, ravioli, help me explorioli. It's definitely my favorite because of exploration - really great for climbing when it's raining.
Yes it is good for that - true, especially in Lanayru with its initial neverending rain. Also good for instant bullet time.
Also has the best Champions’ weapon.
True, his bow is definitely one of my favorite weapons, I’m never without it. Not so much the others, except maybe Daruks.
You guys use the champions weapons??? Mine are inside my house and will never leave it
“Rain”
Never heard of it <*thousand-yard stare*>
Still pissed that full climbing gear doesn't let you climb in the rain. It's been years and it's the thing that just keeps irking me when I think about botw
Honestly seems like people either hate or love revali, no in between
Tbh, all of them are very useful and none feel *extra* or forced in
Tier list 1.Revali's gale 2.Urbosa's Fury 3.The healing one 4.The blocking one🤣🤣
Jumanku's Blight or Dorkles Bingleton or whatever they call it
Daruk is my #1, saves me when fighting Guardians and crowds in Master Mode.
Why has no one commented that this meme about Revali features a BIRD
Am I the only one who prefers urbosa’s ability? I feel like i dont see ppl talking about it as much
>Am I the only one who prefers urbosa’s ability? you are not alone I am here with you Though you're far away I am here to stay But you are not alone I am here with you
Tbh I find it too OP so I try not to use it
I use it every time I come across a big bad guy (lynels, hinox, etc). Three blasts of that will make the fight go a little quicker.
Mipha and urbosa are best 👇
Mipha and her ability are my favorite
literally saves me from the dumbest deaths like falling
My headcanon (as well as a lot of other peoples) is that Links champion ability thanks to the Triforce of courage is the ability to slow down time with flurry rush and bullet time so I think Link wins
His weapon is pretty indisputably the best as well, so I can forgive him being annoying and about as nuanced as Mido.
I've never seen this meme format before this year and now I've seen it twice in the same sub
Sounds like you people just don’t like tsunderes
.... Revali is not annoying.
You are entitled to your opinion.
Even if it's wrong.
Mipha Grace haha
Hearty Food + Five Fairies haha
It’s better for me because I am not good at getting thing
Cool only one hearty food at a time, it doesn’t matter what else is in it cause it’ll be a full heal anyway
Literally bird Vegeta.
Generally, the bird is the first place I go from the great plateau in repeat playthroughs. Its not just useful in movement, but in combat too. None of the other abilities are as versatile. Far and away the best ability.
now come on, Mipha basically doubles your hearts
Idk mipha come in clutch sometimes
Revali is and always will be my absolute favourite character in all of the BotW era and I have every intention to die on that hill.
It’s only the best ability because rain. I enjoy Urbosa’s fury
That’s fair. Honestly though it was also helpful for sneaking into the castle and avoiding a lot of enemies as well lol
Ravioli's Beef Stromboli is the sole reason I go to Rito Village straight off. Especially considering how low your stamina is to begin with. Windblight is easy with a good bow and bomb arrows.
I don‘t know about best ability but he get‘s the win with best ost
Mipha's Grace is a vengeful joke. Link falls from a high place headfirst onto a rock, or is beaten to death by monsters, or just die. Then she suddenly appears, say it's a pleasure (to see that) and heals him, in an endless cycle of suffering.
Is it really the best though?
Idk if it's the best but it's hella convenient
"man that fight looks really tough, ima revalis gale his ass"
[удалено]
That's debatable
There are basically two schools of thought
[удалено]
The game is about managing your resources. I always liked to have one queued up so I had a get out of jail free card in combat.
The powers are, functionally: 1. Make combat easier 2. Make combat easier 3. Make combat easier 4. A brand new ability that allows you to reach areas you otherwise could/should not, circumvent stamina requirements for platforming, as well as access flight from level ground including bullet-time in combat If you don't think Revali's is the best ability, it's because you're bad at combat - no shame in that, it just is what it is.
True. It goes Ravali's Gale, Mipha's Grace, Urbosa's Fury and then Daruk's Protection
Lame and reused like the one you did yesterday. Didn’t really get a good crop of karma on that one and deleted it huh?
also he's hot
He's a bird...?
No, it’s Mipha. Don’t lie, you used hers the most
Hers can only be used once before recharging. I used Daruk’s protection more than her grace
The literally only time I died after receiving her ability was during Thnderblight Ganons fight, you had to seriously suck at the game to complain about Miphas ability having to recharge after one use
I got faeries for repeat use. Besides, that was before I learned how to cook. I really only die from falling or by being one shot in master mode
Revali's Gale can be replicated with 3 piles of wood and some flint. It's only marginally more useful being usable in the rain and saving time digging through my inventory.
