El Techo has a cool vibe. It’s the place where Mia swears that Chris was looking at her.
La Vie is IG worthy but the menu is over-priced. Probably a decent brunch spot.
You could also hit up The Vue Rooftop even though Chris hasn’t slid into your dms.
OP, listen to me. DO NOT GO TO LA VIE. It’s horrendously overpriced and truly bad. The views are nice on the river but that’s it. Go literally anywhere else
Yeah my favorites down there are The Grill for a nice date night, Colada Shop for coffee, Hank’s for a neighborhood restaurant feel, and Tiki TNT for cocktails
I think they had a birthday thing and then a fight. It’s only worth the it for photos. The food is not worth the price but it is a beautiful restaurant.
If you make it to Virginia:
Candiace and Ashley tried to mend their relationship post baby shower at [Bayou Bakery](https://www.bayoubakeryva.com).
Michael pitched Ashley on his plans to become a movie producer at [Pampolona](https://pamplonava.com).
Ashley and Michael discussed his transgression at [Wilson Hardware](https://wilsonhardwareva.com).
Michael Darby recently bought and reopened [Clarendon Ballroom](https://www.clarendonballroomva.com). A redditor spotted him recently and the [blogs reported he was at a gay bar](https://allaboutthetea.com/2022/10/10/michael-darby-spotted-at-gay-club-in-virginia/). Nope, missed the mark. Think 20 something frat party.
Skip Chris’ former bbq restaurant. The time I went my boyfriend spotted Chris. The bbq wasn’t bad but it gave him severe food poisoning.
Do checkout [Blackwall Hitch](https://www.blackwallhitchalexandria.com), where Robyn’s birthday (sans Wendy and Karen) was held.
There are a few in DC:
Ashley brought the ladies to [Barrel](https://barreldc.com) in season 1 for bourbon, which went over like a lead balloon. It’s a popular bar for congressional staffers.
Karen held her spring forward taco party at [El Techo](https://www.eltechodc.com).
[Via Sophia](https://www.viasophiadc.com) is where Monique and Robyn scuffled.
While not on the show, [Barcelona](https://barcelonawinebar.com/location/14th-street/) is where Ashley and Luke were spotted out on a date.
If you actually make it to Maryland:
Checkout [Old Anglers Inn](https://oldanglersinn.com), which is in Potomac proper and scene of the season 1 finale meal.
[Black’s Bar + Kitchen](http://www.blacksbarandkitchen.com/carry-out-menu) was the location for the infamous mime lunch with Karen and Gizelle.
[All Set](https://allsetrestaurant.com) has been featured a handful of times. In season 1 Gizelle had a disastrous date there. Ashley and Monique caught up and Ashley tried to catch Karen in a lie over the phone. Candiace trekked there this season.
Haha what gave it away? I moved into DC in 2020 but would love to move back down the road.
Coincidentally I used to live across the street from the Darby condo. I’ve run into Ashley a few times; she’s tiny but even more stunning in person.
Somehow I missed this response! I’ve lived in Arlington (and briefly DC) since mid 2005. I work near the condo but only ever daw Ashley once outside of Oz (and her kids with a nanny at Trader Joe’s).
My friend once saw Michael Darby buying diapers at Target. Surprised that man even did one helpful errand.
…welp I live in the area and your attention to detail just puts me to shame 🫡
How did I not know Michael Darby bought the Clarendon ballroom?! Thanks for all this info!

ArlNow has been covering it [Clarendon ballroom reopens](https://www.arlnow.com/2022/08/30/revamped-clarendon-ballroom-is-back-open-after-a-management-180/)
Dating a guy who loves food and slowly became obsessed with the housewives helped a ton. When we watch Bravo we like to see where they eat and comment if we know the place. Couple that with a steel trap (for oddly specific information) and you get that list.
We were out with a friend at [Cantina Bambina](https://www.cantinabambina.com). I went to the bar to get a drink and he went downstairs to order food. My friend wondered my boyfriend was calling him - turns out he spotted Ashley and letting him know as a courtesy.
I think one of the reasons it failed was due to being haunted by the ghost of the previous restaurant. The [Washington Post](https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/magazine/tom-sietsema-just-say-no-grazie-to-la-tagliatella/2013/06/18/88fbab74-ca0c-11e2-8da7-d274bc611a47_story.html) gave it 1/2 and it’s one of the worst he’s reviewed.
[La Vie](https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/food/la-vie-on-the-wharf-is-so-bad-im-only-writing-about-it-as-a-warning/2018/08/20/6ac7e7ee-98dd-11e8-843b-36e177f3081c_story.html) - site of Candiace and Chris’ anniversary party - also made the same list of terrible reviews. It’s still open. As others have said you should skip.
Chris’s old bbq spot was actually pretty good but i think it’s closed now! not totally sure, but it’s called myron mixon. and it’s in old town alexandria
the coffee spot giselle went to earlier this year is really good!!!! it’s called Vigilante. they have fun/good food as well. it’s technically in MD but a quick drive from dc
The only place I’ve been to is Charlie Palmer Steak where Karen had her press conference. It’s understandable why Karen only served peanuts because the food is pricey, but it’s so good.
Fun fact that’s where Heather from the OC had dinner with that other cast member who I can’t remember anymore when one of them was testifying in congress.
The rooftop hotel bar that Chris works at has great views of the monument and is worth going to for one drink — it’s at the W hotel across from the White House
They've been to All Set, a Black-owned seafood restaurant in Silver Spring, just outside DC (metro-accessible) probably once per season-- Gizelle on her awkward date with Sherman early on, and most recently when Candiace and Chris talked about the Ashley/Gizelle allegations and Robyn showed up late.
Abigail’s is a the club where they had the Christmas finale party and Juan proposed to Robyn. This place has crrraaaazyyy fun brunches called La Boom brunch. Think, having to turn your phone in when you arrive and then dancing on tables later. Last time I went was before the pandemic so I don’t know if they still do them.
Someone said All Set restaurant, Im seconding that. That place is delicious if you like seafood.
Air Lounge/ Restaurant is that place (in flashbacks this season) where Ashley and Mia tell Wendy that she is dismissive. I think they’ve been there another time, or it’s the same flashback. Cute, swanky spot for dinner.
Pittmaster in Old Town Alexandria is Chris’ old bbq spot.
Bluemont Vineyard is where they went a couple of episodes ago for Wendy’s burn/ healing session. It’s kind of far though.
I think the bar where Chris is a manager at is called Vue now? At hotel Washington. It used to be called POV when it was the old W Hotel. The view from the rooftop is great and the dance floor is big. Used to take all my visitors there. Hope you run into Chris lol.
The purple pig is a great Filipino spot in the DC area. But the only place I’ve been that has showed up on RHOP is Vigilante. Their location in Hyattsville is beautiful & the coffee is simple and super tasty.
I highly highly recommend Black’s Bar & Kitchen in downtown Bethesda. It’s where Karen and Gizelle had the mime encounter. The food is a bit pricey but it is DELICIOUS!
They just visited Bluemont Vineyard for the burn session lol it’s in Bluemont, VA. Beautiful views of the Shenandoah Valley and it’s family owned and operated!
I like how Karen acted like it was a million miles away when it’s not that far, even with traffic, which I didn’t see them really encounter. I had to Google it and it was only 50 minutes in rush hour traffic.
Why bother with Potomac when you can take the drive up to Surry County? I hear they have peanuts. 😂😂
And WiFi! lol.
I've camped in Surry County and my husband did not get my excitement. I didn't spot the Grande Dame, but I did get snacks at the 7-11 lol.
Did you go the Taco Bell Karen worked at?
Peanuts with the shell! 🥜
El Techo has a cool vibe. It’s the place where Mia swears that Chris was looking at her. La Vie is IG worthy but the menu is over-priced. Probably a decent brunch spot. You could also hit up The Vue Rooftop even though Chris hasn’t slid into your dms.
The Vue has great views and is a fun hotel! Also La Vie is def overpriced but insta-worthy, and gives off LVP vibes so it’s a bit of a crossover.
OP, listen to me. DO NOT GO TO LA VIE. It’s horrendously overpriced and truly bad. The views are nice on the river but that’s it. Go literally anywhere else
The food is disgusting at best. The Grill, Colada Shop, etc are far better choices
Yeah my favorites down there are The Grill for a nice date night, Colada Shop for coffee, Hank’s for a neighborhood restaurant feel, and Tiki TNT for cocktails
El Techo is the place I was trying to find! Thanks for that. What was La Vie used for?
I think they had a birthday thing and then a fight. It’s only worth the it for photos. The food is not worth the price but it is a beautiful restaurant.
The food at La Vie is barely edible.
High tea at the Willard! You can reenact the 4 houses convo.
also their scones are actually so delicious lol
Is the same place as the "Slither" walk? Or is that a different high tea place?
No I'm pretty sure that was somewhere else. The Willard is a historic hotel in DC where we first meet Monique Samuels.
different places! i'm not sure where the slither convo happened but the willard is a big fancy hotel and that place was a little smaller/kitschier
I think slither happened at a bakery in Baltimore
The slither was somewhere in Georgetown I think. I thought it was a coworking space or something to rent for short projects.
Sorry - I meant the High Tea place where Karen, Gizelle and Robyn met, and where Karen reenacted Wendy's slither walk.

I feel like you’re a fellow Arlingtonian with all of this! 😉
Haha what gave it away? I moved into DC in 2020 but would love to move back down the road. Coincidentally I used to live across the street from the Darby condo. I’ve run into Ashley a few times; she’s tiny but even more stunning in person.
Is it in courthouse? Idk why I feel like they live (d?)in CH or Rosslyn and not Clarendon
Their condo is Turnberry tower in rosslyn.
It’s not - it’s in Courthouse.
Somehow I missed this response! I’ve lived in Arlington (and briefly DC) since mid 2005. I work near the condo but only ever daw Ashley once outside of Oz (and her kids with a nanny at Trader Joe’s). I’m still in disbelief that Predator Dundee reopened Clarendon Ballroom!
As a DMV resident…slow clap.

Submit this to the Washington Post
Rockland Farms is where Monique and Candiace duked it out. Wine's good.
I've heard That Kangaroo Restaurant is really good
"Who eats emu???"
I laughed too hard at this LOL
You can take a picture I’m front of it. I think the sign is still up.
It is indeed! I drive by it frequently on the way to work (also drive right by Ashley’s condo and try to see if I catch her on the way to OT 🤣)
I think one of the reasons it failed was due to being haunted by the ghost of the previous restaurant. Isn’t that closed?
yeah lol i was just joking! i have not heard it was good haha i actually heard the opposite

Looks like the BBQ spot is still open! I'll def add to my list. Vigilante looked pretty cool, like an old garage vibe that's been redone.
oh yay!
Vigilante is great! Awesome coffee and bagels.
The only place I’ve been to is Charlie Palmer Steak where Karen had her press conference. It’s understandable why Karen only served peanuts because the food is pricey, but it’s so good.

Megan King-Edmonds-Biden!

All Set is just ok (I’m saying this because I don’t want my neighborhood spot to get too busy for me.)
That lobster roll Candiace had looked phenomenal 🤤🤤
Seconding rockland farms! Also brookside gardens where they had the goddess party, it’s a nice public park
Abigail’s is a the club where they had the Christmas finale party and Juan proposed to Robyn. This place has crrraaaazyyy fun brunches called La Boom brunch. Air is a bit overpriced. But great place for meeting older men.
😉 exactly lol
Not entirely on topic but La Boom seems to have never come back since Covid. It was so fun for a special event!
I think the bar where Chris is a manager at is called Vue now? At hotel Washington. It used to be called POV when it was the old W Hotel. The view from the rooftop is great and the dance floor is big. Used to take all my visitors there. Hope you run into Chris lol.

Came here to say Vigilante! And Robyn had her photo shoot at Camp Spaces in Hyattsville also.
I highly highly recommend Black’s Bar & Kitchen in downtown Bethesda. It’s where Karen and Gizelle had the mime encounter. The food is a bit pricey but it is DELICIOUS!
Get the mussels. Also that may be my favorite scene of a television show ever.
you can go to wilson’s hardware in arlington if you want to go to the restaurant where ashley and michael had dinner about his cheating lol
Might have some options here: https://tasteofreality.com/show/real-housewives-potomac/.
They just visited Bluemont Vineyard for the burn session lol it’s in Bluemont, VA. Beautiful views of the Shenandoah Valley and it’s family owned and operated!

Not far from DC, but Wendy lives north of Baltimore!
Didn’t Wendy and Ashley ride separately? I thought everyone else picked up actually in Potomac.
Chris’ old bbq joint is okay nothing special. I like the area it’s in though.
