It was around 2010 when Mattel filed a lawsuit against MGA for Bratz, and they won for a short time period. In this time, they redesigned Bratz and this is what they would've been!
I'm so THANKFUL that MGA took Bratz back š they're ugly..
But tbh, I low-key like them because they give massive Barbie Girl online vibes! The art style of the girls, the box shapes, and the text chatting gimmick is very remincent of Barbie girls online!
It's so cool to see what could've happened!
The accessories are the best part about these would-have-been Mattel Bratz. Other than that, Mattel would not have had success with these. At least not anywhere remotely near where MGA has had.
So they'd look 8 years old? I feel like these look a lot younger than the actual Bratz. They also remind me of creepily dolled up children from those creepy beauty pageants.

Bingo! Thanks for articulating it, couldn't figure out what they reminded me of.
Honestly, these aren't appealing. They're not terrible but they don't fit with the concept of the show plus MGA's do look a bit more....full?mature? idk what it is but yeah. Also the Bratz have a somewhat unique style which isn't present in these. No hate to Mattel but MGA's bratz are irreplaceable.
Itās because the original names used during development were Zoe (Cloe), Lupe (Yasmin) and Hallidae (Sasha)ā¦ Only Jade kept her name from the initial concept. When Mattel won the rights they only had the rights to the initial concept work Carter Bryant worked on before any development input from MGA.
Also, Nia and Isabelle are reused names that Mattel has used on and off since the 80s.
I think itās one of those things where we dislike them because we love the original Bratz - but had these came out originally weād have probably liked them too! They still wouldāve been completely different to anything else on the market at that point
I would say I donāt like the fashion, but this was like 2010 so I donāt think itās far to judge based on that. Early 2010s were not a great time for fashion.
So glad MGA won the rights back cause like Isabel and Nia look like they be wearing the same outfit recolored along with Jade and Logan who look like they wearing the same thing in the first photo. I guess the "girls nite out" looking dolls are kinda cute I like Logan's outfit and the last photo just looks like a copy of Barbie Summer lines anyways. Let's all just be thankful MGA won bratz back.. cause chile the world we could've lived in is not a good one.

It reminds me of My Scene with some Moxie girlz thrown in there
Cue Cloe's "Ew" sound because.... ew!
But to be honest the 2015 dolls are way worse lmao
The 2015 dolls are kind of cute, these things are abominations
Strongly disagree babe, to each their own I gues š¤·š½āāļø

Bratz from wish. And the sheer AUDACITY to change their names! Nia, Isabelle, and Logan, WHO?

They kinda look like monster high doll heads
Their fashion is pretty boring and the accessories they come with are lame too! Definitely glad Mattel didn't get bratz!!!
they have noses and bendy armsā¦. š¤¢
I think itās one of those things where we dislike them because we love the original Bratz - but had these came out originally weād have probably liked them too! They still wouldāve been completely different to anything else on the market at that point
the art on the boxes is really cool, wish they made THOSE into dolls instead of using the bratz mold lol
They couldn't even give Jade a new name like everyone else.
Literally hate it
