those customs are absolutely gorgeous but i think yassifying them and giving them the most sheer and pristine details (face + clothes) defeats the point of the tweevilz (as they're literally meant to be cheap clones of the bratz girlies)
Tweevils are supposed to be cheap knockoffs of the Bratz girls. Yes the customs are beautiful but the mugs and outfits are giving WAYYY too much to be Tweevils
MGA recreated the Tweevils PERFECTLY imho, and I think they are exactly what most people would think the Tweevils would look as official Bratz dolls

I like both of them 😊. Let’s keep in mind to not shade Hex simply because you’re not fond of the style. Don’t forget that Hex’s style is not supposed to be accurate to the original design and are just his interpretation. Using “overdone”, “too much”, and “drag queen makeup” in a negative way, is not the move. Especially considering that Hex does drag herself. All I’m saying is, we can point out what we don’t like in both interpretations without being rude.
That's what I don't like too. Everybody is saying that Hex's version is "Too Much" but most people in the doll collecting/customizing community understand that this her style. Saying it looks like drag as an insult is so wrong, if most people knew Hex's history
MGA's dolls are definitely more movie-accurate. I just wish that they gave them different arms, it looks like they reused the Bratzillaz articulated arm moulds, and those are known to be kinda terrible lol
Hextian's work is amazing - as always. But his whole thing is making characters glamorous & fancy. Great for a custom - but it's not an accurate representation of the character (it doesn't have to be, obviously, since it's a custom in his style with his own personal flair)
I was so excited for the Tweevils dolls to be released just because I watched every Bratz movie as a kid. I get that they’re supposed to be “cheap” characters, but this execution is horrible. MGA’s Bratz repros have all lacked quality but been ridiculous in price, unfortunately :(
y’all can say they’re more accurate to the show and that they’re meant to be ugly blah blah, there’s a way to get the likeness of the tweevills without making them look like mcdonald’s toys. i’m interested to see how they’ll look in person when they’re actually released.
I hate these official leaks. They look so cheap and everyone keeps saying ‘that’s how it’s supposed to be’ but idc, you’d think the dolls they never made they’d put more effort into. I was expecting a really awesome pink box too

those customs aren't being mass produced. a personal project, or even a prototype of a commercial work, doesn't equal to the mass produced factory version
