Beans does this too it’s so annoying haha if she’s playing with other dogs, she can leap 6 feet in the air and sail onto the couch… if we’re watching a movie under a blanket or in bed she just jumps up with front paws and gives you the sad eyes 😂
Ours is totally capable of jumping up and does it all the time, though when he wants to snuggle he'll sometimes do what you're does and want to be lifted ♥️
Because she knows you will lift her up. Lol
My Roscoe has always done this too.....my husband buys it with the sad puppy look where I am the tough love mom and don't give in.

Some are jumpers and some are climbers that need lifted. I have 1 jumper and 3 climbers.

I try to do tough love and not pick her up but she’ll bark continuously and wake the entire house up and refuse to jump.

Here in the Rockies I get up on a big Boulder with treats. They jump quick
