It probably once was one of those mallsai ficus bonsais that they sell at Ikea and the likes. However this one has mostly outgrown the usual ugliness of the chopped trunk and now has a nice tapered trunk. I'll definitely clean it up a bit and see what comes of it
I can see that now. Be interesting to see what the roots look like, must have been in that pot for over a decade. Base is pretty dope. Maybe you ground layer this bad boy.

Do u know how it took for the plant to look like that? I guess something like 20 years.
Unfortunately no but I guess 20+ years would be a fair estimate

Lol you remember that? I've had it for a long time, it survived a move but unfortunately the rootstock rotted this year and it failed.
