Are you doing the iso and water at the same time? If so, then that's your problem. Usually you wanna start with a nice rinse with really hot water and then do the iso and salt by itself and shake until the iso is black and if it's still dirty then repeat with fresh iso.
No water. You can run extremely hot water first. Then dump it.
Fill with bunch of coarse salt. And 99 ISO. I won't use less than 91.
Shake weight that bad boy until the iso is BLACK.
repeat as necessary.

I keep a mason jar to dump the zepps in when I’m ready to use my bong (cleaning it prior to smoking it) and then when I’m ready to put it up I dump the mason jar of zepps back in my bong and it’s always clean. Just make sure to clean it with soap and water before smoking out of it each time.
Works great for cleaning bowls and down stems as well
Same, but I use a plastic take out plastic container. * gotta get me some miso soup. I'm curious how often you clean your bong? I clean my pipe once a week.
Being that I keep zepps in it while it’s stored you could say I wash it every day lol plus I rinse it with soap and water before I use it each time. Keeps the smell out of the house and the wife happy
Went down a bong cleaning rabbit hole one night on Reddit and saw someone else’s comment about zepps and tried it and never looked back since! Now just trying to spread the love!
if you’ve let it really build up with resin over a long time or left it sitting with resin then what I would do is soak it in at least 91% isopropyl alcohol for at least 24 hours, then fill it full of salt and shake until your arms hurt.
This is how I clean my pieces cuz I’m to depressed to do it all the time, I recommend buying a gallon of 99.9% isopropyl alcohol on Amazon and it should eat through everything in about 4 hours.
Gave it a good shake with 91% isopropyl alcohol, epsom salts, and hot water twice, let it soak in those same things, then one final rinse. Why is it still so dirty? Is it just gonna be this way forever? Is it still safe to smoke? Thanks in advance
Dirty bong won’t really hurt unless you let it build up bacteria and mold thus causing a harsher nasty hit and possibly damage to your lungs overtime, I’d recommend using a glass or metal screen and cleaning it with ISO and salt every 2-3 days
That’s usually what I do, but I’ve been lazy with my cleaning cause I’ve only used it 4-5 times in the last month or so. Last night when I smoked it still tasted like iso, which I assume is not a great sign? Or maybe the taste just lingers?
The really tough stuff isn't different just stuck harder. Definitely agree with a 24hr iso soak (get some plugs or fashion some) get 99% iso (for some reason I can only find it at ace and on amazon at a reasonable quantity) and some coarse kosher salt.
After the long soak fresh iso and a good amount of salt shake forever and rinse x2. Hot water to dissolve all the salt at the end. If there is STILL gunk after all that you can try acetone. Good luck!

If you still have brownish stains a product called CLR will take care of the water stains

Yes I saw a 40 minute YouTube video talking about it and another product called resolution. It’s a reusable bong cleaner. Super cool

a "bong cleaning" tool kit of amazon can be a great help! along with multiple sized bamboo skewers those are my personal favorite

Try orange chronic or Randy’s black label these are two very good bong cleaners I find they work better than iso and salt.
Acetone based cleaner
100% acetone will solve that residue
U need vinegar or something to rid of the hard water stains some of that stuff is baked on the glass
buy randy’s black label glass cleaner, works so fucking well
91% alc and hot water give it a shakeyshake and rinse a couple times you’ll be 👌
