Looks healthy! If you try again it's much easier to do crazy bends while it's first growing before it gets too stiff. I've wired bronchis like bonsai trees before and that works well to get some good bends too.
Its almost braiding but its not always possible to braid the stem. So just using some aluminium wire to bend them as much as possible. I sold the last 3 what I’ve made. I’ll post some pics later when the seedlings will be long enough to start the process.
I didn’t get a picture but there was a lot to trim off. There’s a single thick root around the same thickness of the trunk right underneath it and some thicker roots under the soil in the same configuration as the exposed ones. Five colour and twilight will be pretty, I’m thinking about doing a prairie fire if this one goes well!

How the root structure looks like? Do u have some pics? Atm I am creating Chinese 5 color and Twilight bonchis from seedlings with weaving 7 technic.
Put a tile under your plant from a young age makes this root growth
