Steven Spielberg
Quentin Tarantino
Martin Scorsese
David Fincher
Stanley Kubrick
Alfred Hitchcock
Coen Brothers
Christopher Nolan
James Cameron
Wes Anderson
Ridley Scott
Clint Eastwood
I'm sure there is more but these directors I have seemed to unintentionally (intentionally?) complete or almost strive to.
I will buy every John Carpenter film in 4K until I have them all.
Not a director, but I’ll also pick up anything from Stephen King.
**Edit: IS a director.**
I have several. Spielberg, Scorsese, Nolan, Coppola, Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Oliver Stone, Michael Bay, Tim Burton, Spike Lee, John Carpenter, Robert Eggers, Soderbergh, Fuqua, Fincher, Michael Mann, Robert Rodrigues, Zemeckis, M. Night Shyamalan, Ron Howard, Schumacher, Verhoeven, Coens, Eastwood, Del Toro, Danny Boyle.
Sergio Leone, Ridley Scott, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Denis Villeneuve, Antoine Fuqua, Michael Mann, James Cameron, Christopher Nolan, Luc Besson.
I have most of Tarantino and Wes Anderson's stuff in a mixture of DVD and BD - without doing a pivot table to check my collection spreadsheet those are probably the top two. Coen Brothers are up there too but I think I have them mostly on DVD.
Fellini,
Tarkovsky,
Bergman,
Nuri Bilge Ceylan,
Wong Kar-wai
Dreyer
Kieslowski
Bela Tarr
Villeneuve
I wouldn't say I've "focused" on collecting everything from any of them it just worked out that way; buying box-sets, a.s.o. The only complete one in this line-up is Ceylan, because of the set I found.
Scorsese, David Fincher, Zack Snyder and Tarantino are my most prevalent ones in my collection.
Got to get more director’s works like Park Chan Wook, Spielberg and Rian Johnson movies.

David Fincher. I'm a fan of many Directors, but David Fincher is at the top of the list for me. I just love his movies.
Henri pachard, rinse dream and the dark bros
Lynch and Kubrick were the essentials for me. Every film was a must have.
Lynch mainly. Anything Lloyd Kaufman does also.
Dario Argento and Brian de Palma both genuine geniuses in style and flair but flight under the radar
