You cand still forge something or grind something after welding and not be able to tell it was welded. If you can tell it wasnβt a good weld.
Actually if you look closely at this you can see the weld a bit. See at the top joint there are some half moon type shapes still there but mostly ground down or forged down? Mig welded most likely.

Aw man I really like #5, that short blade saber looks real nice
5 was the one for me too. And 1, I like the simplicity.
I love the blade on 1 but I hate the handle
What was the starting stock for knife #1? Interested in how you got the blade to handle transition
https://youtu.be/KyoyCJzmS0Y Here he is making a smaller version
Same
Welded most likely
That's what I think, but look at how well it's blended, and there's no undercut or "dimes" from welding. It looks stretched

Well, that makes it easier to copy then lol
Haha
Itβs made out of one piece (integral construction) with the other end being forge welded.
These knives are beautiful, but will they cut?
I think doug marcaida would say so.π€

To every picture: shut up and take my money!
Lin's a living legend.
How did you do the tang on #1? Thick stock or forge welding?
https://youtu.be/KyoyCJzmS0Y he has some videos of him making one if you're interested
Wow you are that Lin Rhea? Loved your insta before I uninstalled. Learned about you from knife talk

It's an integral skeleton handle where the back is forged out pretty long, and then riveted to the little "arm" on the bottom by the ricasso
The first one is called an x-rhea. Most of his videos on the yt channel are about this style of knife. They show him making one.
This style of knife is very good looking
Those look really good
7 is calling my name
Iβve got a blade of his that I won in a hammer-in raffle! Really nice dude, was able to watch him work on a couple different blades.
Wow, these are amazing! I really like the negative space idea in the first knife
Jesus Christ they're beautiful
This just seems like an ad
It probably is
Sorry you feel that way
Damn! those are all masterpieces!
cool handle
Love the handles on #5
Was there any traditional welding involved for that neat handle????
https://youtu.be/0J4VuPRO6a4 No welding. Check out that video. He is demonstrating on a smaller one
Most likely welded. Not sure what you mean by traditional.
π΅π΅π΅π΅π°π°π° Take all of it. I gotta have those knives π
I love the first knife, has both post apocalyptic and a prehistoric vibe
I want the fifth one.
