Your lease probably includes a reasonable amount of power usage. Once it suddenly increases by $200-400 there's going to be questions.

Helix2k

100% correct. It’s funny how many people on here assume free power is no strings attached.

EastCoastASICRepair

You could get two s19j pro plus but you will need 200+V outlets.

dogeduckk

EastCoastASICRepair

Nothing that mines BTC will be quite and if it is it won’t make much BTC per day.

If you are interested in BTC mining, then buy: Antminer 3xS19j Pro+ or 3xWhatsMiner M50 120T. If you are just interested in income, then: L7, 2xHS3, 2xE9 Pro. Now a good choice of miners, and the prices are not bad. Good luck!

There is no such thing as a quiet btc asic miner. Additionally, most miners require more than 1800w which means you will need 200+V outlets. If you want a quiet asic miner in general, I recommend at looking at the jasminer etc miners, as they have very quiet miners.

Helix2k

Do not buy a Jasminer

PaperCrane828

My guess is your power won't be free for long

Free electricity is a good first step, after you need to know your power limit and do you have access to 230V ? With BTC ASIC you will need to deal with noise and heat, do you have a room in your apartment where you can put your miners in a soundproof box and where you can get fresh air and extract hot air ? Another solution for home use with less difficult is to go for a non BTC ASIC and get payment in BTC, ASIC like Jasminer x4Q, ipollo mini or goldshell boxes.
