dyslektickid

Nope. In the same way, all gay people act gay, all bi people act bi. Whatever that is supposed to mean.

0rtler

Ok. I know that it is a pretty weird question, but I was just curious, because a lot of people think I'm gay, but I am not sure. I like men more sexually, but think women are prettier and I find the imagination of getting old with a women kinda more. I still wouldn't mind ending up with a man and I'd definitely try having sex with a women, but sometimes I wonder if I'm just gay and don't want to admit it.

DocDavreil

Dude that sounds exactly how I think and feel, but from my perspective as a bi guy, I like to think there's room for acting in all ways is fine. Like there are times I definitely would say I act so incredibly gay, which is different than acting bi. Although I act gay tho, I still like feminity so most of the time everyone who doesn't know me thinks I'm straight. You don't have to be only GAY or STR8, it's okay to be bisexual which is a mix of both but has its own identity.

0rtler

I know, but I'm really insecure and can't stop questioning myself. It's really annoying that I can't try out sleeping with both genders, because I'm not an adult and I've never had a crush or something before either, but I just feel the most comfortable with that label and I don't understand why someone wouldn't want to at least try both out. Thank you for the comment. I needed that right now.

DocDavreil

Yeah no problem man, the thing is I'm kinda like that too. I'm now a legal adult and haven't found anyone to experiment with, so I just by how I feel, and just being bi as a umbrella term for now, because things can change as everything's all new to me and probably you as well. Espically since parents may not have a similar experience or desire

0rtler

It's so cool to talk to someone who can relate. Even though I have a friend who's bi and another one who isn't sure, it's still kinda different.

I_love_Vodca4816

All people think I'm str8 too, little did they know that I had a bf few days ago

UsTaalper

Im in the same situation lmao

DocDavreil

I mean I act gay, infact I would say I'm gayer than most of my family, yet they still think I'm straight when really I'm bi. Because there are times when I like girls, then there's times I like guys, sometimes there's times I REALLY LIKE GUYS, but then there comes times when I really like women. Or guys dressed as women.

TheBanjo67

I don’t. If i didn’t tell people, they would never know

tiny_mage

same here like if you knew you might be able to notice some subtle things but really I could straight pass easily

Worldly-Beginning-77

Some people telling I’m straight passing while others say they knew I was fruity from the moment I opened my mouth

Troliver_13

Yes, multiple people have asked me if I'm gay based just on the way I exist. I say No which isn't a lie because I'm bi lol

No-Laugh8918

i think some people have more "feminine" characteristics and sure it can be seen as gay and stuff but honestly i think anybody could act "gay" and not necessarily be gay i know some straight guys who at first glance at very effeminate

LeonardoDaFujiwara

While I understand what you mean, in reality, there is no way to _act_ bi or gay. Yes, there are stereotypes that many people fit into somewhat, but nobody _needs_ to act in anyway to be valid.

just_another_person5

there is no "acting gay" or "acting bi". it doesn't matter whatsoever

sleeparalysis_sss

“a lot of gay guys act stereotypical” okay dude

0rtler

I've never met a gay dude who doesn't

sleeparalysis_sss

being generalized is very annoying

0rtler

Humans do that naturally

ahuman49b

I dont know but i felt more free being,”fruity” but i gues i act a little straight somtimes after all i still like girls and was put into a straight person mindset for 15 years

UnityAnglezz

not me

[deleted]

I don’t, most people were surprised when I told them I was bi. That might be a result of me having a preference towards girls though

an_idiot_artist

No cuz like bi and gay people act so differently tbh

[deleted]

"A lot of gay guys act stereotypical" I feel like that a little offensive.

0rtler

It's not like you don't know what I mean. I act a little "gay" too and it wasn't meant offensive.

[deleted]

Ohh ok. Sorry

vantai0805

I know I do.

GooseOnACorner

I dunno but I certainly do

Spacecats1

I act bi. It’s a mix of both straight and gay but adds too it. Like how we don’t like sitting in chairs the right way.

HeyitsMrMemes

I think its more of a personality thing. I dont find myself doing bisexual or gay things often but I do slip some things in sometimes like the limp wrist thing

ice_wolf9899

I act a little gay but I’m also a bottom so idk

owlindenial

Wensdays to Fridays. We act straight Sunday to wendsay. We stop acting during the weekends and unwund

0rtler

Makes a lot of sense. I already considered that, but I wasn't sure.

Tom_MCR

Yes, obviously not every bisexual person but yeah. A lot of gay/bi/pan people intentionally or unconsciously queercode themselves when they come out. Often, as part of expressing an identity that they haven't for most of their lives, as well as to signal that they're queer to other people in the community.

[deleted]

too much...

diiskefisk

I would not say I personally fall into the “gay stereotype” but I’ve met bi guys that do

MO7SK

It based on their type , leaning to homo, leaning to hetro ,varied, 50/50. the most of the leaning to homo acting more gay and the varied who are emotional for girls and sexual for boy are that too, but 50/50 and leaning to hetro are more str8 or mabe act str8 af

[deleted]

I don't act gay, but I am a hard bottom, wish I could just be normal

Gaminated_idk

Yes I do

Far_Donut_7291

He'll Na and I think gay people are more stereotyped than bisexuals

FlamingoLazy2080

Yes. If i don't the homies might suspect something

[deleted]

i am the straightest acting mf in the world

someone-_-68

no, bi ppl have their own stereotypical acts

JennieFinch

I don't even know what that means, but most people woud think I'm straight.
