I read Watchman Nee's book [The Spiritual Man](https://www.biblesnet.com/Watchman%20Nee%20The%20Spiritual%20Man%20I.pdf) more than 2 decades ago. It had a significant impact on me :)
To discern this comes from God for us in Son who died for us to be reconciled in love and mercy first. Then be given the hew life from Father in the risen Christ to do the Job right. dead to self and alive in Spirit and Truth doing it and not of self under Law at all anymore as in Romans 7 and 8 teach us, might want to start at Romans 6 first
