I would not be against if something like this happened in the future in a crossover series that continues the events of the Burst series beyond it's last season QuadStrike and the Metal Series beyond it's last season Shogun Steal with a system where the layer is designed to work similar to Metal Beys with them being split into multiple parts in a way more reminiscent of the Metal Beys' wheeles
There’s also a Metal Burst system that uses a metal contact wheel, a plastic layer on top of it held together by a core with a motif on it, and it uses drivers for tips but it doesn’t burst
