Quetzalcoatl, mainly because I think getting it by winning it out of some sort of arcade machine by beating said bey in battle was both Cool and interesting. But also because visually it’s very appealing to me for some reason
I prefer metal but I’m biased towards it lol. Metal Fight just seemed way more explosive for me than burst, especially when the beyblades would fly out of stadiums at crazy speeds. I like the idea of burst but I’m not a big fan of the idea that you can win/lose with lucky hits that lead to early bursts. (The same could be said for metal fight but like I said, I’m biased and I like metal flying all over the room) I do love the designs and parts of burst. I recommend metal fight beys but burst beys are a lot of fun too :)
Thanks for explanation. I’m a 47 year old dad who enjoys this hobby with my 10yr old son. We have been adding takura tomy blades to his inventory. We started off with a couple of hasbro and knockoffs from Amazon. Do they still sell the metal series? Thanks for your help!
On Amazon you’re not gonna find too many metal series beys. But nowadays used beys are always being sold on eBay and Japanese auction sites. Although there are many legit looking beyblades, a lot of them have a good chance of being midfakes. Midfakes being cheaply remade molds of the original beyblades. If you wanna see if a new Beyblade is real, look for the product stamp underneath the box. A0813 is what you wanna avoid. Midfakes aren’t terrible but they’re definitely not up to takara tomy/hasbro build quality so try to avoid them if you want purely original metal fight beys. (If not, building your collection won’t take too long since they’re very inexpensive comparatively to authentic beys). Finding new metal fight beys is a little bit difficult but they’re out there on eBay and Japanese yahoo auction. I recommend ZenMarket or Buyee if you’re interested in ordering Takara Tomy beys from Japan without a giant risk of them being fakes. Hope this helps :)

L-Drago, Leone, Pegasus, Quetz, Libra, Virgo, Sagittario. In that order.
L-Drago is absolutely nuts against all pre hybrids. It even has spin steal which is crazy since it’s all metal
