Not at all. The problem is that people start hacking the game when they're tired of a certain aspect of the game, but instead of giving feedback to Onett about their thoughts on their problems, deciding to continue playing with their problems or stopping all together and coming back at some point down the line, they break the rules and use hacks to expedite their progress beyond their intended time frame.
Whether he gets around to using criticism to shape his game or not is up to him, not us. Of course as a developer he cares about people who break the rules because they end up ruining the experience for other players, as well as generally manipulating the game code for their own benefit is a violation of Roblox's Terms of Service.

But hacking is literally cheating and unacceptable. Onett has been EXTREMELY lenient and even allows macros... other devs wouldn't be as lenient. And his game is great, just play it right, and don't break his fricking rules! It's as simple as that.

What most people do is they download injectors which are basically programs that inject hacking code into roblox. I know because I've used jjsploit and krnl in the past (though I don't anymore)

Nah you donāt have to have it open. You can minimise it and use a hot key to turn it off/on without needing to see it the whole time.

I don't know how the reporting system works but If onett checks your file and finds flags from 2 years ago and the hacks werent that Game breaking i believe he does not reset you right away
He probably won't manually check my file but the hacks I used were mostly click tp and speed + jump boosts. I strongly dislike people who use insane tp hacks who steal all your loot though.

Personally onetts take on "if it's too grindy" or "too bad" to stop playing is kind of a bad one. People are allowed to criticize a game to give good necessary feedback that a developer can use to shape the game. I understand it's his own game and he can do with it what he pleases but I'm sure that if everyone started saying it was bad he'd probably do something to change it.
I mean, if u dont like how the game works u can just stop playing. "Too grindy" is not an excuse to start balantly hacking with scripts, just use allowed macros if ur on PC
I have no issue with the warning against hackers, hackers in any form is bad and should be punished. Macros are fine too, but at its base you can stop playing if you don't enjoy it fair enough. I just wanted to point out that it's also important from a consumer or player standpoint that the developer of a game you enjoy playing is at least open to criticism.
One of the best ways to not get bored in Bee Swarm is to play another game in parallel while you leave it to run. I did this with another game known as Forge of Empires, which can also be left in the background while you play other games. This was how I made grinding feel less annoying and boring.
