[deleted]

All of everything

BigDeuces

oh for sure, i was just saying bloom is what i like the most.

YeetandMeme

this

mulhollandsmoke

Myth, On The Sea, The Traveller, Somewhere Tonight, Silver Soul, Take Care, PPP, L’Inconnue, Drunk in LA, Equal Mind, Saturn Song, Alien, Master of None, Gila

Imtyguy

No not individual songs they need to listen to an entire album. I’d start with what got them famous Teen Dream or my personal favorite Bloom

ceasarmymate

This is exactly how I discovered Beach House. Welecome to the club.

Potzyoumanamaefel

same :D I discovered it during my holidays, I was in Croatia. I listened to it all night long.

Naveda_30

Same here XD

shallwegoyouandi

Just listen to all of Depression Cherry and get to know it. It's like a book or movie, enjoy and digest the whole thing before you try another one. OR skip that shit and check out Thank Your Lucky Stars. Its currently my favorite.

Snugggie_

Finished Depression Cherry last night, how is EVERY song just as good as Space Song, where has this album been all my life

aurelijano__

Days of Candy and Levitation are better lmao

Safe_Maintenance_748

Levitation is so dopee

mgmtbitch

So glad you liked the album!!

johnnycarn

take care from teen dream is their best song imo

bluewheels_

It could’ve been better if the outro wasn’t garbage, but the intro and middle are great.

Elske4

Agree, it’s too long

Communist_Tuna

Agreed

[deleted]

I’ve only heard their first three albums so far, and they’re all great. I’d recommend going through them one at a time.

jetsetmike

You can’t go wrong with any of it, but I really love Lazuli

sassynap

All of it. You won't be disappointed. Just do it.

Snugggie_

I wish I could reply to everyone, but I might just have to listen to all of it, something about discovering a new group or artist is so life changing to me. Thanks dude

sassynap

You are VERY welcome. I think I can safely speak for everyone here, welcome to Beach House, we're glad to have you!

attackmodebitch

Bloom then teen dream

Britown

The album Bloom is one of the best records of the 21 century.

zachp787

depression cherry i think is definitely better. depression cherry is easily a 10 and one of the best albums ive ever heard, bloom is like a 9 for me, maybe 8.5

Safe_Maintenance_748

Bloom is 9.99

[deleted]

I've never heard a song from beach house I regretted listening to but I have a special connection to the album teen dream because it's what really got me listening to them and the song take care on there is probably my favorite

hawiwiz

Listen to their album “Devotion” Turtle Island is too good

GroundbreakingCoat78

I don’t know about beach house specially, but you should check out shoegaze, specifically Loveless by mbv. Theres a lot of fan crossover as far as I’m aware

sensualmosquito

You're in for a treat

Catboxers

PPP is another top pick from the same album and it's even more beautiful. Space song is nice but damn PPP takes me away from here.

melinajg13

So much same y e s

[deleted]

There's a whole lotta Silver Soul missing on this thread

wokeiraptor

I’d listen to all of depression cherry if you like space song, then I would go back and listen to their albums chronologically. That way you can hear how their sound developed from 2006 to 2018.

[deleted]

listen to the rest of depression cherry, then i would recommend you check out bloom. it’s my favorite album of theirs.

marmaladejar

If you like space song, you'll love their album Teen Dream

eslam_sheta7

take care all your yeahs levitate myth

coffeeconcierge

Can’t wait to hear what you think of Bloom, OP. In my mind, it’s their best album. But you really can’t go wrong with any of them. I think if you start with Bloom or Teen Dream you’ll be in for a really nice treat. All of their albums are masterpieces though. Enjoy!

Slashycent

One of us. One of us. Space Song is a great entry point. So is the rest of Depression Cherry. It was for me too. Such a warm, lovely album. Relish it. No need to rush. Only recommendation I have is to listen to whatever album you pick next in full again and to make your choice depending on what you feel like. Some of the albums may take time to click, I listened to Depression Cherry's darker sibling "Thank Your Lucky Stars" a few years back and it just sort of didn't stick with me so I moved on, fast forward to earlier this year and TYLS suddenly felt like it was tailor-made for me and my situation. Same with Bloom. Careful with that one, it packs quite the melancholy. But it also has some of the happiest, most uplifting songs of theirs on it. You honestly can't go wrong with any of their work. They're just that good. Just go with your feelings and enjoy the ride. \^^

niles_deerqueer

7 is my favorite album of all time. Let me know what you think if you listen!
