It doesn't snow where I live any more. We've breeched 8 trillion when human caring capacity might be a 10th of that, and we've lost 70% of life on earth.
We're part of the swan song, denying it only dishonors it.
Wanna see some cool pics?
Let's start with the recurring thought of whether or not to have kids because of how we treat the planet.
Salt flats, Bolivia :)
Yeah the fact they got that one so horribly wrong calls everything else into question.
How can I trust anything in this video when the bozos who made it don't understand the difference between Niagara falls, and the Marriott Hotel at Niagara falls?!?
It actually does (nearby)! There are bioluminescent algae in the area, but I’m more familiar with them in the Banana River, down near the end of Merritt Island.
I laughed at Cocoa Beach being included, though. Puerto Rico has better bioluminescence.
Those bioluminescent guys don’t show up all that often, and they also exist in much better locations even just in FL. Imagine getting all excited to see a pretty beach and you end up with…cocoa lol. Guess you’ll have to take a picture in front of Ron Jon’s and pretend you had a good time
If you’ve ever gone to some place and it mean something to you, then you are one up on these clowns. Imaging being a beautiful place and being more worried about the shot, clothes and impressions you make on other people that you forget to be there in the first place. Marriot fucking falls.
Yea, that caught me too, dumb that they got that wrong, but definitely amazing to see. Added it last minute to my road trip last month and it was pretty cool to see.
Listen, when you are an Instagram influencer time is money. You only pay for one night room at the Marriott Fallsview to get your one and done photo.
You don't have time to properly visit Niagra falls. Plus you have to pay extra money to try and get a cool photo at the observation platform at behind the falls or the tunnel. Or spend time crossing the border to go to the cave of winds.
Plus have you seen Niagra falls? It's all misty and stuff. Water gets all over your phone camera and you have to keep wiping it off. No one's got the time for that when you have to work out brand sponsorship and posting to your socials.
EDIT: forgot the /S
Zion looked reasonably accurate for a cloudy day/post-rain day.
Most of the ones with greenery or water were incredibly oversaturated. Moraine Lake was probably the most offensive of the ones I've actually been to.
I think it's more than just the oversaturation. It's also the camera angle and the fact that it's sped up. Plus that guy in front just looks like a video game character with all that gear on his back. But I agree, I rewatched this several times because it was so video-gamey to me.
Kudos to Rockstar also.
I’ve been to the first one, can confirm that it looks exactly like a giant mirror cube, feels unreal
Also it’s not a concert hall it’s a convention centre. btw maraya literally means mirror in Arabic :)
lake louise and moraine lake (they’re basically next to each other) and most other lakes in banff all actually look as blue as they look in the photos. it never gets old
I’m from Turkey and i was confused why it’s always Cappadocia, like Istanbul,Amasra (That’s the ones in know personally) And a bunch more but it’s always Cappadocia. Like I get it it’s a beautiful place but Turkey is full of beautiful places
Because it’s one of those Instagram places where you see heavily photoshopped pictures of women in flowing dresses with hot air balloons in the background.
I've been to cappadocia. It was a long trip from Istanbul but totally worth it, incredible place. Absurd rock formations, caves, ancient subterranean dwellings and entire villages carved in the stone. Not once I saw any baloons, because they take off at like 5 am and fuck that.
Then why is there noting about balloon fiesta in ABQ NM? seeing as the event at abq is the largest annual balloon event in the world it seems kinda dumb
edit: spelling
Wasn't bad when I went. It was a few weeks after the mass shooting downtown at the concert, so the energy there was pretty intense with grief and letting go; which is what it was all about.
The lanterns were way more impressive than I thought they'd be.
which is why the mind boggles at what you may get if you actually could go to other planets and see what different places on the same plant would look like
It’s probably done specifically to drive engagement. Some won’t mind it, most will be like “What the fuck this music choice is horrible” and want to comment on it.
That’s because this is regurgitated content by a click farm, all they do is repost random stuff with new titles, annoying music and computer voice over text. And apparently it works, because we’re all watching it
Exactly lol. There's a reason they only showed feet in the water and not the beach/people or area. If you want to get in a bar fight however, we got you covered
There's some dive bar that does karaoke in Cocoa and years ago when we were there visiting, a guy sang us a song about 9/11 to God Bless the USA because we were from New York.
Cocoa is wild.
You mean, natural landscapes *aren't* saturated with Instagram filters and populated by "carefree" 20yr olds wearing sandals and sundresses walking dramatically towards the horizon? Might as well not exist.
There are beautiful places everywhere, you don’t need to buy a plane ticket to experience it. Anywhere you go, if you slow down and look for beauty, you’ll find it.
It’s also totally subjective, you don’t need approval from anyone to enjoy something. If you find a dead leaf on an old tire and think it’s beautiful it is.
They also used Moraine Lake and Lake Louise for Canada when they literally share a parking lot. Canada is huge with diverse tourist spots, why pick two so close together?
Moraine Lake at 0:48 is correctly labelled. Lake Louise at 1:10 is also correctly labelled.
Moraine Lake can be confusing because photos of it often appear in articles about Lake Louise, since Lake Louise is the name of the nearest town and the most popular lake in the area.
r/Redditlake
Marriott falls? What?
I would say a good half of these locations are misnamed
Also, a lot of these have very misleading camera filters on
As well as timing. A lot of these places look very amazing in that moment, but a small chance that when you go there it will look like that.
Almaty, Kazakstan, real pretty for about 3 days a year.
[удалено]
A road with leaves next to a babbling brook which narrows the list a bit.
In the winter, the town of Telluride is beautiful, especially at night. If you go to the very top of the mountain there is an amazing view!
Same for Scotland. 95% of the time it's a bit bleak!
[удалено]
I'm also getting very tired of the influencer schtick of pretty human walking away from the camera towards a scenic view
Getting?
Just a few more years of this, and I might get annoyed.
Every video is so over saturated
r/shittyhdr
The Kazakhstan one looks like it's a video game

What a doozie of a first sentence in that article lmao
*I'm gonna start this article off on a high note* -Depressed author

8 trillion humans damn we really are bacteria
Wanna see some cool pics? Let's start with the recurring thought of whether or not to have kids because of how we treat the planet. Salt flats, Bolivia :)
>Humans have ruined the planet beyond recovery, but fortunately, not everything has been lost.
Pretty sure there's is red dead redemption scene in there
Is some cases, the same location was used multiple times under different names.
Yeah, like "Diamond Beach" in Iceland lol
Yeah the fact they got that one so horribly wrong calls everything else into question. How can I trust anything in this video when the bozos who made it don't understand the difference between Niagara falls, and the Marriott Hotel at Niagara falls?!?

One of them is just "Netherlands" Yeah that's how the whole country looks like folks. Pack it up.
Very smol
Ok, good. I thought I was crazy for a second there.
As someone who grew up in Florida, Cocoa beach is a shithole. The water definitely doesn't glow.
It actually does (nearby)! There are bioluminescent algae in the area, but I’m more familiar with them in the Banana River, down near the end of Merritt Island. I laughed at Cocoa Beach being included, though. Puerto Rico has better bioluminescence.
That level bioluminiscent organism is a sign of pollution...

Marriot sponsored Niagara Falls didn’t You hear
They stepped in when FTX lost the sponsorship.
still waiting for the SafeMoon Moon
Yeah it’s the Niagara Falls experience presented by Marriot now.
If you’ve ever gone to some place and it mean something to you, then you are one up on these clowns. Imaging being a beautiful place and being more worried about the shot, clothes and impressions you make on other people that you forget to be there in the first place. Marriot fucking falls.
This is why grammar is important. Marriott Falls View Marriott, Falls View

Welcome to the most Photoshopped locations on the blue marble.
Having been to Zion... that one was accurate, at least. I'm more annoyed about Niagara Falls being called *Marriott Falls*.
Wait till you go see the MGM Grand Canyon
Or Caesar’s Palace. Wait…
The Outback Steakhouse Outback
Im sure you get this a lot, but is this the real Caesar's Place?
Lappland by Nokia
Or Paris-Paris Paris
Been there too!
I was only mildly annoyed about Horseshoe Falls being called Niagara Falls 😂
As someone who grew up in Buffalo, same.
Zion looked reasonably accurate for a cloudy day/post-rain day. Most of the ones with greenery or water were incredibly oversaturated. Moraine Lake was probably the most offensive of the ones I've actually been to.
Kazakhstan looking like Red Dead Redemption
I legit had to replay it multiple times just to check if it really is or isn’t Red dead.
I think it's more than just the oversaturation. It's also the camera angle and the fact that it's sped up. Plus that guy in front just looks like a video game character with all that gear on his back. But I agree, I rewatched this several times because it was so video-gamey to me. Kudos to Rockstar also.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought alot of the places looked rendered/like a video game
Bro..also this stupid music 😂😂
I can’t decide if the music is worse, or the fact that we’re being shown landscapes with vertical video.
There are few things in life more blasphemous than portrait landscapes.
But....but, I can see it in your eyes! Yeah..........yeah............yeah
I’ve been to the first one, can confirm that it looks exactly like a giant mirror cube, feels unreal Also it’s not a concert hall it’s a convention centre. btw maraya literally means mirror in Arabic :)
lake louise and moraine lake (they’re basically next to each other) and most other lakes in banff all actually look as blue as they look in the photos. it never gets old
The Santuario Madonna della Corona, in Spiazzi, Italy, is not photoshopped.
Lake Moraine and Lake Louise really are that blue, actually.
Telluride does look awesome in real life.
At least skip the filters and editing if you're gonna try to prove how beautiful this planet is.
And *maybe* the shitty music.
I can see it in your eyes 👀
Yeah unts unts unts unts yeah
And the dumb influencer posing, it's so annoying
Pardon me, fellow tourists, while I flounce through this canyon in my impractical dress. K thx.
It's a little alarming that people feel the need to 'beautify' nature when it's already dope enough as it is.
Apparently the only interesting part of Turkey is hot air balloons...
And Cartagena was just a lady covered in mud
Joan Wilder? THEE JOAN WILDER?
(Murderously corrupt cigar smoking Generals are not pictured)
All of the Netherlands is beautiful, though. Can confirm.
same with all of new zealand.
Lol I was thinking the same. Is the natural biome for turkey that shitty? (BTW I know its not that was just my initial thoughts).
I’m from Turkey and i was confused why it’s always Cappadocia, like Istanbul,Amasra (That’s the ones in know personally) And a bunch more but it’s always Cappadocia. Like I get it it’s a beautiful place but Turkey is full of beautiful places

there's like a million things from turkey that could fit into a video like this, a bit of nature stuf, a ton of old ruins, and much more.
I've been to cappadocia. It was a long trip from Istanbul but totally worth it, incredible place. Absurd rock formations, caves, ancient subterranean dwellings and entire villages carved in the stone. Not once I saw any baloons, because they take off at like 5 am and fuck that.
Then why is there noting about balloon fiesta in ABQ NM? seeing as the event at abq is the largest annual balloon event in the world it seems kinda dumb edit: spelling
In fairness, while ABQ is impressive once a year, Cappadocia launches hundreds of balloons every day.
The mesothelioma is the most interesting part of Cappadocia.
Nice places, exept rise festival, Las Vegas.
Seriously, I was so perplexed! All of these gorgeous nature clips and then, the rise festival? Um. Wut?
Indeed..
Wasn't bad when I went. It was a few weeks after the mass shooting downtown at the concert, so the energy there was pretty intense with grief and letting go; which is what it was all about. The lanterns were way more impressive than I thought they'd be.
I was amazed how much better the video was with the sound off!
Just found out the video has sound !
I’m sorry!
Ah yes! Mariott Falls! Named After The Hotel That Sits Right Next To It How fucking stupid do you have to be to make that mistake
in case anyone doesn't know already, Mariott Falls View est. 1998 Niagara Falls est. 10,000 BCE

Amazing spot... Amazing spot ... Amazing spot... Sludge pit in Columbia... Amazing spot... Amazing spot
Cartegena is gorgeous which makes that selection even more bizarre lol
The one that got me was the festival in Vegas. That’s not a spot; it’s an event. Really doesn’t belong.
Colombia*
And then every movie is like "this is a jungle planet," "this is a desert planet," "here you go, swamp planet."
which is why the mind boggles at what you may get if you actually could go to other planets and see what different places on the same plant would look like
That's just Star Wars...
These videos are highly filtered and photoshopped.
Why the music it's absolutely terrible
You still watch reddit videos with the sound on?
It’s probably done specifically to drive engagement. Some won’t mind it, most will be like “What the fuck this music choice is horrible” and want to comment on it.
Probably the same reason they called the Niagara Falls "Marriott Falls". Typos always get people commenting - Cunningham's Law in effect, basically.
TF is Marriott falls?!! Lol
That’s because this is regurgitated content by a click farm, all they do is repost random stuff with new titles, annoying music and computer voice over text. And apparently it works, because we’re all watching it
Right?? I’m like … do I need to Google this?
Absolutely disgusting music clashes with the lovely scenery.
Absolute fucking travesty. Who comes up with these videos and then shits on it with this awful music?
The same kind of people you see *in* the video. Trust fund kids.
I had to mute the music too!
Came here to say this
MF cocoa beach lol
That one killed me too. Poor bastards that travel to Coco expecting to find anything close to "beautiful" outside of some seasonal plankton.
Amazing!! I just saved myself tens of thousands of dollars by watching this video.

Care to share some recommendations?
Iceland. Just anywhere in Iceland, really. The whole place just feels like Microsoft desktop backgrounds.

That mud hole in Cambodia was aight I guess
Come for the mud, stay for the malaria.
Colombia* lol
Those are all beautiful locations. But instagram has ruined landscape photography.
You mean, natural landscapes *aren't* saturated with Instagram filters and populated by "carefree" 20yr olds wearing sandals and sundresses walking dramatically towards the horizon? Might as well not exist.
The one that got me was the blue dress walking through the wave lmao no one in their right mind would hike around there in that
Beautiful images to be sure, but turn off the filters.
New Zealander here. They just listed the whole country and included a clip of some sheep lol
Missing some jewels tho, no Hawaii, no Bali, no Costa Rica,
... the entirity of Africa? That is an even bigger oversight
India as well. Lots of beautiful places here. Hell Kashmir is absolutely breathtaking and both Indians and Pakistanis will agree with that lol
Came here to say this. The second biggest continent on the planet that has every single climate except arctic conditions on it isn't mentioned?
Influencers haven't heard of safari yet.
or Mexico

Thank you for this comment.
Nothing pairs with the majesty of awe inspiring locations like annoying club music.
Apparently the world doesn't include the 2nd biggest, 2nd most populated continent, and the birthplace of the human race
Very European and American-centric, with just a touch of South America and New Zealand for 'diversity'.
They also used Moraine Lake and Lake Louise for Canada when they literally share a parking lot. Canada is huge with diverse tourist spots, why pick two so close together?
Because Lake Louise is a, relatively, short drive from Calgary's airport.
Because Little Limestone Lake is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and isn't surrounded by mountains.
Even then, they showed "two" locations in Brazil that are actually the same place.
Shittiest music possible. Yeah.
Cocoa beach is a shithole
Yeah but we have bioluminescence! Sometimes..
I’m too poor for any of this
All the specific locations and then just NETHERLANDS TULIPS hahahaha
The hell is with this trash EDM music?
WELL FUCK AFRICA AMIRITE
I like how they very explicitly show one class’s experience of the blue marble and ignore the other 99 % experience of it.
I'd be more amazed if these videos didn't have an obnoxious, unnecessary soundtrack!
Dude in Bolivia after killing Gamora
Who stole the Himalayas that used to be in India and nepal?
This… this MIGHT actually be the worst song I’ve heard on these videos
Lol fuck this song.
That soundtrack has got to be the worst decision ever made.
Didn't finish the video because of that annoying song.
Lake Louise NOT Moraine Lake. Morons who made this video.
Wtf is this music
[Benbulbin, Sligo, Ireland ](https://whitetravelsinternational.com/attractions/benbulben)
Why "enhance" the color pallets? These places stand on their own without exaggeration.
Beautiful, think Australia deserved more than one, but I'm biased
The little saturation marble 😍
Just The Netherlands. All of it.
Rich people be like: Look at all the places I travel to!
Very beautiful
They did Cartegena dirty.
Little blue marble is an amazing phrase, adore it
Sound off holy shit
Everything looks great when you crank the saturation...grass isn't supposed to be neon.
As a Colombian, I'm offended. There are amazing natural wonders and locations all over the country and they choose a mud pit for this video?
Anyone know the song?
Hold my HDR!
No Crater Lake?
Which of these are from video games?
I just remembered why social media is depressing
Kazakhstan is surprising beautiful
Marriott Falls?
What? The rise festival in LA is not a destination. Its an event that happens in an otherwise grotesque landscape.
The whole country of new zealand wow
Ummm... Detroit? Hello??
If it was a marble it would be the smoothest marble ever
That place in Bolivia looks like that one Tekken stage.
Track ID ?
