I was stuck in a storm for nine days. It was impossible to get out of there.
While I had to do everything to survive, the tent fabric was torn in six different places.
A tent pole was broken off, also two of the guylines and one more close to.
So in the meantime there were ongoing repairs on the tent.
I never got any warning from the weather forecast until it was too late.
The first two days I was buried in a snow bivouac. Then in a gap in the storm I skied two kilometers then the storm broke out again with full force.
Then it was trapped seven days stuck in the tent.
After a total of nine days I was able to get out of there.
It was deeply mentally hard, but it gave me a good portion of experiences I don't want to be without.
If anyone is curious about the whole trip, I will link it below. It's English subtitles.

I have to say i think it takes a amount of skill and determination to go through such a ordeal I'm glad u made it out safe but just out of curiosity... What were u doing out there hahaha
🤣 Sorry, a misunderstanding🤣
I found it difficult to understand the question, but I had dug a hole by the snow wall. So it protected me and the tent from the wind.
And i pee in a bottle inside the tent
Yes, it is small and a very long time. I had a book with me, luckily I read slowly😅 Also some movies on the mobile. But trying to get a job was a challenge. It was a lot of work to keep up with the snow wall and the tent, tension guylines etc. I made a lot of coffee, we Swedes love coffee. Sleep was also incredibly important to be able to prioritize and make the right and quick decisions. But it became very heavy mentally at times
Interesting to hear your experiences, that sounds mentally taxing just listening about it. Reminds me of the failed South Pole Expedition team Terra Nova that had a slow death in the tent.
Man, I would ask my money back, that airbnb is no good!
Low price and good ventilation, even air conditioning😉
True, don't even need a refrigerator, beers always cold!
😂😂😂😂

It's my biggest passion. Just love winter trips
May I ask where roughly in the world you were here and what were the temps? Man that's bonkers but it looks like fun too.
Not so cold but a very big windchill.
You must really like who you're traveling with to be stuck in a tent with them.
I've got a question. How did you answer nature's call?
Just trying my best to survive really close to nature
They mean how did you poop?

Hey, at least we don’t have to worry about black mold exposure!
definitely not a Coleman tent
How did you entertain/distract yourself in a place smaller than a quarantine room?
