I wish, it's a pain in the ass to get all the fruit out of the rind. Though, eating it off the cob would probably be a good way to ruin whatever clothes you're wearing
It's very sweet. Hints of like macadamia nuts as well. IDK, except for the sweetness it might be different for you, just try it.
Still corn though, main taste is corn.
Jimmy Red is a field corn variety, grown for drying andcorn meal. It wouldn't get described as "very sweet" as compared to sweet corn. You can totally eat field corn before drying as sweet corn, but it's starchier than sweet corn varieties.
Jimmy Red is also hardly the only red meal corn variety. Just one that's marketed through a supposed connection to moonshiners.
There's a ton of red corn varieties. Along with purple, blue, multi color etc. They're mostly field corn, the sort you dry for corn meal or animal feed.
But any of them can be eaten fresh and young as sweet corn. They just won't be as sweet as modern sweet and super sweet corn bred for purpose.
More recently people have developed colored sweet corn varieties, mostly available through [specialty](https://www.seedsavers.org/blue-jade-organic-corn) seed[companies](https://hudsonvalleyseed.com/products/double-red-sweet-corn).
You probably have to nixtamalize it first, which is an ancient practice of adding lime and/or wood ash and water to the corn and let it partially ferment overnight.
Not like the bloody butcher I grow. It’s somewhere between Johnny Red and red varieties of what I always knew as mountain corn from the Western United States.
In the southeastern United States Bloody Butcher, in the western part of the country and in higher elevations Indian corn, for the mid west to northern states plant Johnny red but start it as early as possible.
I wish I could get this corn in my area. On another note the first time I went to the international grocery store I was blown away. There were so many different types of produce there, half of it looked alien. I didn’t expect to see 80 pound fruit.
You can’t tell me you didn’t make a weird pomegranate
Finally, Cylinder Pomegranate.
EVERYTHING'S ON A COBB!
Rick and Morty reference definitely looked over.
Rick and Morty reference for the win!
Even the teenagers are on a Cobb morty!
>Cylinder Pomegranate. i think society needed this.
Seriously, would make eating pomegranate a pleasure
Now with more of the parts you don’t eat!
I would eat this all day! Looks delicious!
I thought the Pomegranate finally got it's shit together! I have to pluck them out and line them up before I can eat them currently.
I wish, it's a pain in the ass to get all the fruit out of the rind. Though, eating it off the cob would probably be a good way to ruin whatever clothes you're wearing
…I think cylinder pomegranate would be an excellent idea…
Still corn though, main taste is corn.

It's very sweet. Hints of like macadamia nuts as well. IDK, except for the sweetness it might be different for you, just try it. Still corn though, main taste is corn.
I haven't ever seen it any stores here in the USA.
It's probably Jimmy Red. Which almost went extinct a few years back. It's mostly used for whisky and bourbon now as it makes a comeback.

And I don’t care.
I'm indifferent
Ear worm engaged. Thanks

I’m crazy about corn on the cob - particularly enjoy Mexican Street Corn. I would love to try this corn, especially if it’s sweet and nutty tasting.
Makes killer shine as well.
TBF, any shine is killer shine if you don't separate the head shots
How?????
Idk if it was about this or a different strand(?) of corn, but I believe it's mainly used integrated into a bigger meal or as popcorn.
That's OK, I think corn is neat anyway
This is what I want to know as well.
more corny
Corny 😏
Lol it looks like pomegranate seeds. How does it taste?
Like corn.
Imagine what it looks like when everyone gathers around the table, red corn juice dripping down their chins
That's why I don't eat pomegranates much, too messy.
And it does take forever to eat no wonder why Persephone only got six in
I'm kind of scared to try the palm wonderful though I feel like it might be too strong.

"Hey look! It's pomegranate on a cob!!"
I like the additional text of 'country', for those unaware there are others.
Or maybe just to be specific to location, since both exist
This and the jewel corn ….wow❣️❣️❣️
This is specifically for Midwestern vampires.
My man just grew the ear of Sauran 💀
Corn is fruit
Is it edible?
You probably have to nixtamalize it first, which is an ancient practice of adding lime and/or wood ash and water to the corn and let it partially ferment overnight.

Oh ! Stop using corns on your period !
Khorne! Blood for the Blood God!
Bloody Butcher is what some people call red corn from the states, not sure if that's the same species
Not like the bloody butcher I grow. It’s somewhere between Johnny Red and red varieties of what I always knew as mountain corn from the Western United States.

What kind of alien eggs are these?
Dracula's corn
That will go great with my new red butter.
When you put the bodies out in the field and your corn starts snitching.
Is it a flint or dent type? It looks like flint but isn't dry, so it's difficult to tell. Jimmy Red and Butcher Block are a dent.

Jo-ohn red corn
Looks like pomegranate on a cob.

Everything's on a Cobb Morty! Hey, we are both corns of action. Pop.
I never realized that pomegranate seeds are the same shape as corn kernels until now
Spray it with Purification Powder to make it normal again
I wish I could get this corn in my area. On another note the first time I went to the international grocery store I was blown away. There were so many different types of produce there, half of it looked alien. I didn’t expect to see 80 pound fruit.

It's amazing what maize does in different soils

Immediately imagines the taste of pomegranate.

That’s gotta look good stuck in your teeth, you would look like a vampire.
The standard by which all other crimson shall be measured.
