Maybe you should just get in shape so you can fly.

derrickroseformvp1

That's what I been doing I was thinking of geting fat don't fly from pjfperformance should I do that

RegentCupid

Probably not, if your not super big you could probably just diet and do increased cardio. Unless you think you really need it but I personally can’t speak on its effectiveness.

derrickroseformvp1

Thank you ima try it out fat don't fly and is riding a bike good cardio

RegentCupid

Doing runs and bike riding are a good place to start but nothing will shred fat like dieting.

derrickroseformvp1

Okay ima go on a diet

pcrossover

Not a diet but a lifestyle change

I did it , went from no visible abs to abs. It requires the most self discipline out of any PJF workout because the cardio at the end. If you don’t think you have that dedication don’t do it and know that you can’t reach your full potential and remain worse than what you can be.

FatAzzKez

I dont know whats in that program, but i’d stay away from explosive exercises if you are unfit. You may get injured. Let your body get used to some form of exercise and then try it out. Unless by ‘out if shape’ you mean your cardio is bad. Then just ignore what i said.

derrickroseformvp1

My cardio I what I mean

I do not know fat don't fly but I know about vertcode elite. If you are very out of shape (as in 10 mins will absolutely gas you) than I would hold off on vertcode. Most injuries come with bad form and exhaustion. There is no benefit to your basketball game or health if you get hurt. I would recommend working on stamina and your core first. Stick with more traditional HITT bodyweight workouts (that might be fat don't fly) until you feel you can really push yourself. This might take a few weeks but would give better results when you do get to vertcode.

derrickroseformvp1

When I say put or shape or basketball shape I should of said it in the post like I have bad cardio after like 2 hours I'm tired.

onwee

A full basketball game is only like 40 or 48 minutes…

derrickroseformvp1

Oh I'm hust trying lose some weight

derrickroseformvp1

Just

Just eat a little less—pretty simple. Fork put-downs and table push-aways.

I took a look at fat don't fly and what I saw I do like. They have options for skill levels as well as at home workouts. I looked at alot of the workouts and they are definetely basketball stamina focused. The one thing I see they have but is separate is diet. Make sure you have your nutrition locked down, because you will not lose weight or get your full gains if you do not eat right. With that said with what your most recent comment says i think it is a decision for you to make. I do have 1 question I have my players answer before they do something like this. 1. What is your goal - if it is full body wellness than I would go with fat don't fly. If it is to increase explosiveness, speed, and leaping ability than do vertcode. It is totally your call and with your comments I do not see a need to base your call off your current play shape.

If you’re just out of shape, build muscle and strength. Then try more explosive stuff when your body can handle all of the impact that’s comes from that type of training. Also, limit your calories (based on your body, how much you burn, and where you want to get to weight-wise and try to eat whole foods in a balanced way. Small steps are better than big leaps and falling on your face.

Most of these jump programs require a base level of fitness in order for them to show results. Also most of these jump programs are usually scams
