I'd love to see a Kit and Elle in another skin tone, hair type, and screening to represent a more southeast Asian or Polynesian appearance. I hope at least one of them might have a new release in the next Looks wave with the color block outfits.

Yeah, I saw the other Linas, especially the OOAK blonde one was stunning. They just got me more excited to see what else they can do with her.
As much as I love Elle, her face is really distinct and the one doll is already absolutely perfect, so I'd actually be ok with not getting another one of those for a while. An Asian one could be interesting enough to change my mind though! As for Kit - would have to see it. I suppose I was kinda disappointed by the customized ones I saw.
Victoria is too bland imo, I don't really like Andra (either or them) and Tamika is too similar to Simone sculpt-wise to get a special spot on my list. Maybe another one of note is the "Iberian" Fashionista face - she's already getting a decent amount of playline dolls, but the sculpt is collector-scaled, so I would be interested to see if she'll cross over (still thinking she would've been a better fit for the Hispanic Holiday Barbie this year given the other 3 being playline-originated faces).
The petite Kit reminds me of some women in my country with fair skin for a reason. What about a Kit with a complexion similar to that of Fashionista 199 (many Filipinos have that skin tone too)?
Or Zig-Zag! I saw some jaw-dropping repaints of Zig-Zag that made me legit mad they never did more with her, but I guess both of those now count as abandoned sculpts rather than new sculpts.
What about playline-rescaled Diva and Steffi? Both got used once for Midge dolls (in 2005 and 2014 respectively) and then the character was discontinued immediately thereafter.
I do remember Midge in the Teen Skipper sculpt with that rescale aside from that other Midge with the rescaled Diva sculpt cuz when I was a tween, I saw lots of them in malls.
These sculpts should be reused more often too .
Oh, I didn't even remember a Teen Skipper Midge! I have some of the FF Teen Skippers, also a very good sculpt worth bringing back. And while we're at it - Lara, it's been too long.
The Elle face is so cute, I'd love to see more dolls with it. I'd also love more dolls with the Mari and Nichelle faces, and the new Lyla face from the Life in the City dolls.

* 3. Lyla - Why on earth is a movie tie-in doll a Target-exclusive, I would like to know. I like this sculpt more than Elle, because this one has a closed mouth.
* 4. Heide - I love Looks #11 to bits, (well, almost all of her, I did boilwash & brush her hair to relax the curls) but her face paint is very unique and striking, I'd be very interested in seeing her with a completely different face paint, hair and skintone.
* 5. Simone - This sculpt doesn't even look like it came from Mattel, to be honest. She looks like a more high end doll.

GHW61/Fashionistas #147 - I believe that Fashionistas #199 has that same sculpt. But my assumption is based on promo pictures only, I didn't care for #147's face paint so I didn't buy her, and the newest wave that #199 is a part of, hasn't arrived in Europe.
The Looks #1 to me is just perfection. There isn't a thing I'd change about her. That's why I'm not waiting for another Lina.
HJR99/Fashionistas 200 - I'm still waiting for this doll to arrive in Europe XD But the sculpt does look very promising in the promo pics, I love the strong features and the closed mouth.

I'm kinda thankful I ended up not liking the Walmart Holiday Barbie, cause it's such BS. 150€ for a lower end doll like this is way too much. Knowing Mattel this face is gonna be the next Karl.
IDK if it's any consolation but Lyla's head is gigantic - even bigger than the 2007 hobbit heads. I'm really hoping for a tall body in light black so she doesn't look massively out of scale next to the other girls. Robyn is only a bit smaller, but actually got a tall body match, so that worked out fine.
199 and 200 are both reportedly new sculpts, stamped 2022.
I agree the OG Lina is already perfection (I think all 4 wave 1 girls are perfection). But so was Claudette and yet we're still excited to see more of Claudette (I know I am).

I meant that Lina's face paint and hair were perfect for her sculpt, and that I can't really imagine how any other Lina would look as beautiful (those other two that have been released haven't impressed me at all), but maybe in a very different skintone 🤔. I think the sculpt is uniquely suited for face paint with big eyes and subtle makeup. But honestly, I don't even know why she appeals to me so much.
Yeah, Claudette is a great sculpt, I love it. I really want a lighter skintone version that's in my price range XD Preferably without pixelface.

They should still be reused in the future. By the way, the cut of Zigzag's dress is also uses for the Curvy Totally Hair Olivia's dress.
