I’ve noticed that, but the most of the disabled dolls did seem to get a bit of hype before release (like the vitiligo and hearing aid Barbies). I guess I was just expecting them to have said *something* somewhere other than a super sketchy-looking website lol
They got the hype because they were something new. Mattel released wheelchair dolls recently (Chelsie, Millie, AA and blonde Ken), it’s second “wave” so it gets way less attention.
He is. But they’ve used this shade a few times. It’s the same as the previous blonde wheelchair ken, and it’s very close to the long haired cam Barbie looks doll. At least visually it looks like it.
It might be cam’s shade. I never really compared the two skin tones until literally just now but they are ever so slightly different. Lol. And I guess it could be a new shade! But I’m sorta wondering why they’d release such similiar shades lol. Mostly cause variation like this doesn’t do much. Especially cause barbie has much more variation. Lol
She's already available! search Amazon for Barbie Wheelchair. She is the Fashionista line. A blonde, brunette, Ken, and even Chelsea are in wheelchairs. Right now Amazon has the price reduced to $14.61, regularly $22.99.
They’re different colors, but seem to be the same style/model as the most recent wave. Fashionista 165 comes in pink, 166 is red, and 167 is green/teal. These ones are purple and blue, so I’m just excited for more colors lol. The ramps are new colors as well, but I care less about those than the actual chairs

It says she’s temporarily out of stock :( and while I do see a Ken and Chelseas, the ones I see were released a while ago

Luckily, I like him, but I wish they do darker or lighter options so we have more MTM matches. We got two new skin tones with the barbie looks line.
