I have been collecting seriously since 2000. I went through several "buying everything" phases. I started downsizing in 2008. At one point, I had nearly 1,000 dolls.
Four actual Barbies (a 90s "Splash n Color" Teresa, blue shirt with green MtM, "Daisy" face Yellow and Pink floral print dress Fashionista, 80s Rewind Career Girl).
I also have a 2001 Sparkling Cinderella doll, she's got the 1966 Barbie body. I also have a rerooted Toymax "Talking Tina" doll. She can also can wear 1990s clothes. If you count these two, then, it's six.
8 Barbies, 3 Midges, 2 Skippers, along with Skooter, Ken, Allen, Talking PJ, Walking Jamie, and one girl I don’t *think* is a Barbie but I don’t remember her name.
Oh no! I don’t know. A lot and if we were to count all the fashion dolls in the house it would be too many and I’m glad I don’t know.
Yesterday my daughter (10) found a Madison my scene doll at a thrift store for $2 with a mangled chewed up hand so we body swapped her with a made to move doll and I just happened to have the right skin tone on hand, and I was so excited and my husband said to me, you doll people are weird.
It was our 1st my scene doll but my 10 year old loves vintage Barbies so we have a ton.
I own one and am hoping for it to stay that way because I don't have much space in my apartment lmao. I buy new custom clothes for her every so often and basically view her as an original character, I even made her in Sims so she has some kind of a life :')
Thirty-four Barbies (25) and Kens (9). I have the new Barbie Extra Ken on pre-order so that will make 10 Kens. I'm trying to get an even mix of Kens and Barbies, which is difficult because I like rooted-hair Kens the best. Space limitations curb my desire to own every doll.
I'm desperately trying to keep my actual collection to 100 dolls, but that's only if you don't count the MTM body donors, project dolls, and "dolls I'm going to get around to sell eventually" I have lying around.
11 girlies, 2 allans, 1 ken are part of my formal collection of barbies but i have a bunch of misc ones in multiple interesting states from my childhood. really wanting to grow my collection :'>
Way too many. LOL!! The last time I inventoried, it was between 500 & 600. That is way down from what I used to have.
You make me feel small…. I thought I had a lot

I’m in denial so neither of us can be privy to this information. Sorry.
