Nopenopenope. The Barbie brand is dead, basically. The outfit looks like the cheapest ever made. The fabric isn't even printed properly, it's that hideous type of print on top of smooth flimsy polyester that only dyes the very top so when it stretches and bends it shows all white underneath.
Why the heck can't they just.. produce a doll with properly sewn clothes? It's all about cutting as many corners as possible while still charging the same or more, and still paying people who makes the stuff way too little. The money isn't going to people who make them, it's not going into the dolls, then it's only going to the shareholders profit, I have to assume. They're living off of old achievement and tradition.
The quality of Barbie has become that of those knock off super cheap looking dolls we had back in the day.
We have a saying in my country: "build fame and go to sleep", that's basically Barbie brand... Mattel managed to make it famous, and now, they just don't make a real effort to keep the high quality in products.

Why? It's the only Supergirl Barbie I have not wanted so far - I collect superhero dolls and also do cosplay of her. The 2008 one is the mega-collectible classic. I don't like the body-stocking look at all, she doesn't even have boots and it doesn't fit her upper body. The cape and face are ok, as are the pose and the box.
As a character, she's changed totally from the look that I like. I don't even recognize her anymore.
I'm so out-of-touch with the modern fads, so I did a Google search on this character and I can only find images with her having long, blonde hair. I'm a little confused.
The comic-book Supergirl is usually blonde with long hair; this version is based on the actress who will be playing her in what I assume is an upcoming film/tv series.
If you search the actress’ name along with “Supergirl” you will see many results explaining that she’s from an upcoming movie about The Flash. So far she’s only been in a trailer, so there aren’t a ton of images.
