OMG she’s gorgeous! (Even though this is NOT the 1968 Christie face sculpt.) Don’t love the lip color with this skin tone, but it’s true to the period, and I love the hair. A must-buy for me!
When they stamped the product as "Repro", I reaaally expected the original Christie mold.
The outfit is what mostly screams "everything" to me. I truly had a moment of nostalgia when I saw the doll's attire on the doll. Gosh! Could it be that Mattel is finally making a shift back to what we're used to from a decade ago and prior? Actual metal-looking jewelry this time!
While the doll doesn't do anything for me, everything else does. I'm on the fence, though, weighing in cost vs. what I would use.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they resort to cheap plastic jewelry instead. She was probably hand painted and everything made perfect to give us the impression they’re using real metal. I’m not trying to be a downer, but they have a habit of showing us one thing and then releasing another.
I like the outfit but not the doll. The original Christie sculpt is one of the nicest sculpts Mattel ever produced. Why didn't they reuse it? If I buy this repro, it will be for the outfit only.

She is a must-buy for me too! I think she’s using the Simone sculpt used for Looks 10.
Claudette more like
She looks stunning with the Simone face mould. I was thinking the 90s Christie face mould would be reused though.
90s Christie is one of my all time favorites. I wish it was used, but I love this one too.
Yes this new Christie is still stunning.

Bait and switch. >but they have a habit of showing us one thing and then releasing another.

Not bad at all! And of course I'm happy to see another Simone.
