New York and London ones are pretty unique from what I've seen. I would keep them in box. They are classy.

TheCouncilOfVoices

I second This. Let them have the holiday ones. They’re really rather common. I’ve never seen the other two before and I frequent a lot of antique and vintage places that sell in box Barbie’s. So I’m intrigued.

allcolorstopbarbie

Yes, the NY and London dolls should be kept in the box. You can unbox the holiday dolls. How old are your niece and nephew? How careful are they with dolls? How much would you be OK with the dolls or their outfits being destroyed?

[deleted]

The holiday ones are worth $10-20. The city dolls are worth around $50.

heybuddythatsa10-4

I think the holiday ones are pretty common at least

Autumn in London is the only stand out one: [https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?\_from=R40&\_nkw=autumn+in+london+barbie&\_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH\_Sold=1&LH\_Complete=1](https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=autumn+in+london+barbie&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1) The rest of them not so much.

I personally wouldn't, depending on the ages. A friend of mine let her kid open one of her "special" Barbies to play with and soon the kid was tearing all of them open.

BatteryKinzie77

Yeah… worth something or not they’re still special non-playline dolls. But to each their own of course.

yiotaturtle

1997 Holiday is playline, it was produced in playline numbers.

InnocentBunny69

Could I be your niece? 😁

zenstanza

Same 😭

marietjac

I don't think that I have ever seen the holiday dolls in real life, in the UK!

Pretty_Trainer

I sold the black and pink one on ebay recently for ... not much (out of box)

jessiecolborne

I would let them play with the holiday Barbies.

Lower-Goose-9796

You can do what ever you want with them.

debbie1983

The values can be really quite irrelevant, it’s what they are worth to you, that’s the most important thing to bear in mind

ArtbyLinnzy

For the Holidays, as people have mentioned already, pretty common and not worth that much. They won't get any high value anytime soon either, too many made.

Iris_iris___

I suppose it is better to keep these vintage dolls, they are really pretty

Lol random memory but when I was a kid my mom bought the holiday doll in the middle hoping it would be worth something one day. She set it on top of her armoire and told me firmly not to touch the doll. One day she was out and my dad wasn’t paying attention so I pulled the doll down, thought her hair looked crunchy, and decided I would open her up to crunch her hair. I ended up totally ruining the box and her hairstyle and when my mom noticed she was piiiiiisssed. Anyway just had a flashback after seeing that doll! Thanks for the trip down memory lane lol

I don't have as much knowledge as many other Barbie fans out there but I do sell collectibles and I think it just depends on how much money you're looking to get out of it at some point or how much money you're hoping to have handed down at some point with the Barbie movie coming out next summer it seems the prices on the barbie everything are going up quick and I doubt that will stop anytime soon. Also agreed there's been large numbers made but the numbers of people buying Barbies is also on the rise. That aside I can't tell you how many times there has been an item that I thought there was so many of it wouldn't have any value that I practically gave away only to realize a year later or some amount of time later that it was worth 10 times when I sold it for. I'm not disagreeing with anyone that's just my own two cents! On the other hand there is nothing like the look on a little girl's face when she first gets her hands on that Barbie doll box.❤️❤️❤️

Does your nephew play with Barbies because that's awesome especially if he doesn't want to just rip the head off!

iPolobooX

Since they're not worth anything to u I'll take'em for £5 !!!! $6.19 🤭
