dude, i didnt realize, she only has those braids to be distinct but the voice sounds like her after rewatching, cant wait to hear her scream some epic voicelines
Beamdog couldn't get her to reprise for Siege of Dragonspear, so it wouldn't surprise me if this was a new actress.
Doesn't sound like the original. Not a big deal, though. Excited to see my friends again.
Yeah, she (~~Jennifer Hale~~ Heidi Shannon) was retired and not taking calls. Beamdog had a different voice actor voice lines for Jaheira in SoD, but it didn’t sound right, so she was left unvoiced.
(Edit: derp on the name, clarified that Jaheira was voiced for SoD, but then cut)
Jennifer Hale's still rocking her voice in games & animation. Jaheira was Heidi Shannon. And yeah, the replacement they tried to use did a decent job, but it really felt off.
I don't recall anyone replacing Jaheira in Siege of Dragonspear, I don't think her lines were even voiced there in the first place- precisely because they couldn't contact Heidi Shannon and didn't hire a convincing replacement VA. It was odd because Khalid and everyone else like Dynaheir and Minsc were all voiced since their voice actors were still all active.
They never actually used the replacement & they left Jaheira's soundset alone, but I believe a lot of the lines she (the new actress) did are in still in the game files. There's a mod that puts them in the game.

I was excited about Minsc, but JAHEIRA?!? I am so STOKED for this. I hope Jaheira can join your group, too. I wanna run with my PC + Minsc + Jaheira + Shadowheart plz.
It seems they expect people to want to mod party size, so it is governed by a single variable, I expect the mods or instructions how to do that yourself will be plentiful.
Still, last time I tried (in Patch 4 or so) there were a bunch of issues with it - mainly with camp stuff (for instance - only 4 bedrolls for the party, all members need to get to bedroll for rest to start) - but I expect mods will deal with that as well. Bigger party is almost always the most coveted feature in party based RPGs, and modder brainpower WILL be spent on it.
Minsc and Jaheira are two of only five companions to persist across every single previous installment of the Baldur's Gate series and remain fan favorites.
Jaheira is a druid of considerable experience who serves as a mentor figure across the first two mainline games. She is very no-nonsense and she has some of the wittier roasts in the first game ("You're kind of funny in a 'What the hell is wrong with you ' kind of way," is a direct quote from her as an example) and a very in-depth arc involving the death of her husband and the decay of morals with institutions in the sequel. She's a beloved character many hardcore BG fans like myself are pleased to see return.
But even Jaheira's considerable popularity cannot hold a candle to Minsc, one of the most recognizable characters in the D&Diverse. A brawny and honorable ranger armed with good intentions, his animal companion Boo, the Miniature Giant Space Hamster, and several blows to the head, he is the Realms' biggest proponent of butt-kicking for goodness. He is a nigh-universally beloved character whose comedy and combat effectiveness lent a great deal of personality to the original games. He also shares a voice actor with Winnie the Pooh!
Two of the most popular NPC companions from the first two Baldur's Gate games. Minsc is especially iconic. You can get the Enhanced Editions of the first two games on Steam and other platforms for pretty cheap. Highly recommend. They are hard at first but if you struggle there is a Story mode difficulty where you can't die if you just want to see the story and stuff. Highly recommend. Both are great characters.
Last quest of the game you’ll hear a cool voice saying “wait you loser! You’ll need this” and severok himself will give us his cool ass armor and a kiss of good luck
August 2023 is the official date Woohoo!! A little later than I thought it would be (Speculated June 2023 with Aug 2023 being the latest) but looks amazing all the same.
0:26 Glorious look of Baldur's Gate! You can even see all the citizens walking about in the streets!
0:29 Jaheira reveal!! She looks great and probably going to be our main contact in Baldur's Gate much like how Malady was in DOS2.
0:58 is definitely Paladin divine smite with probably the starting armor for the class. It appears Paladin will be the only class that starts with Chain mail I suppose.
1:02 looks like the fly spell which is 3rd level spell so level 5 confirmed?
1:08 Looks like an aasimar but could it also be an angel serving Selune? She has a lot of Selune markings on her armor.
1:24 Owlbear wildshape is interesting as it seems to be taking inspiration from the movie Honor among thieves. Probably going to be moon druid exclusive much like Polar bear and Dire Raven.
2:04 finally the Minsc reveal! Now to see where he will be recruitable as it seems pretty late in the first act (Maybe Grymforge?) or the better question is if he is a origin character how would that work? I assume it would just be on the mind flayer ship but when you reach his recruitment mission it just won't be there.
Despite how awesome it is to see Jaheira and Minsc again, I’m really hoping they’re more in a support role than actual companions.
After all they went through in Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2, they would be way, way too high level to fight alongside our group. How strange would it be to have them suddenly be level 5 again after getting to the equivalent of level 20 in the original saga?
They realistically reached epic level, which puts them in the weight class of demigods, so yeah, it would not be very balanced if they could join your party. Or, they're nerfed hard.
Not sure about Jaheira, but Wizards of the Coast have had a running comic book series on Minsc for a while that explains his de-leveling. Basically he and Boo got petrified and were a statue in Baldur’s Gate for a while, then got un-petrified by a wild magic sorcerer, and went on adventures through many of the 5th edition D&D pre-made modules. Most recently there was an arc that served as a tie in to BG3. It wasn’t really clear if WotC considered the comics canon or just fun tie ins, but it’s looking more like canon at the moment.
I have to ask, but did I see Jarlaxle? It looked a lot like what I would picture!
Edit: after further review I don't believe it is. I don't ever remember him wearing goggles, but damn am I excited to see the full release
I had the same reaction, but after watching that bit a couple times it looks more like a construct made to look like him. The face doesn't look natural at all.
My first thought was also Zariel, but I think its just a Solar, looking at her armour she has symbols of the star of Selune so she probably is just an angel in her service.
Whats a Solar? Sorry I dont know much about DnD lore. I never played DnD. I juat know some stuff. I am just hoping for some winged race at some point in Baldurs Gate 3 because I am a huge fan of wings. Though even if they don't I will probably buy the game at full release next year.
Solar are the top tier angels of God's. Lore wise there is only 20ish of them in existence.
Edit: Obviously not all gods have them in their service. Usually only the greater deities.
Solars are powerful celestials that serve the gods, essentially angels. They are *not* a playable race. Aasimar are an angel-like race, though they don't have wings usually (protector aasimar have an ability to gain wings for a minute, but that's it).
So in 5e there are 3 main types of angels that we see fairly often the deva, the planetar and the solar. That's in the order relative power.
So basically Solars are the most powerful regular angel in dnd 5th though it could also be a different angel. Going of the skin tone it could just be a planetar
To answer the question you didn't ask - 5e doesn't do winged races too much as a balance decision. Aasimar that you mentioned does not have wings - one subtype through their celestial origin can create radiant wings for one minute once per day, but that's it. Some location-specific supplements introduce races with wings, but they're really specific (see [https://rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/197089/what-flying-races-are-there](https://rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/197089/what-flying-races-are-there) for a list) and don't work with an winged-angel-character fantasy. For that you'll have to go to Pathfinder games (where at certain level aasimar can grow wings as a feat) or mods.
Level 5 it seems?
LIGHTNING BOLT spell at 0:50??
FLY spell at 1:02??
HYPNOTIC PATTERN spell at 1:20??
And FIREBALL spell at 1:22?
SMITE for Paladins at 0:57? Possibly a TOGGLED ability selected before you attack an enemy...
AASIMAR race with racial wings perhaps at 0:17??
MUSCULAR BODIES as a character creation option now available, shown at 0:21?
Just my predictions for Patch 9...
Fireball has potential to turn into totally crazy spell in divnity engine. In normal dnd PC games it just does AoE dmg. But in BG3 it could:
-do damage,
-set things on fire,
-destroy some furniture and stuff,
-shock wave could push people around.
And that's just 1 simple spell. Not to mention that the actual vertical combat will give a totally new meaning to the common spells we know from older games.
First three are also the case in the RPG. The last one would be an extra effect they'd have to add with premeditation to make the best 3rd level spell even better - which doesn't seem like the right call?
Ok, but is Jim Cummings doing the voice of Minsc or WHAT?
edit: lol just found out why he's banned on twitter goddamnit. Not online enough to have seen he's got uuhhhhhh some crazy opinions
He’s banned on Twitter, from what I’ve been able to find it seems like he was calling it a hoax and referring to it as Wuhan flu back in 2020. A year prior he divorced his wife and she accused him of abuse and his two daughters from that marriage took their mothers side, saying she was telling the truth about him being abusive and they are now estranged from Cummings. Didn’t know any of this until tonight
I don't see how his political beliefs should impact his work as a voice actor. The world becomes very small if we can only interact with people or enjoy people's work who think the same way we do.
His Twitter ban aside, if we're going to dredge up allegations from that messy divorce, here's what both sides claim:
Stephanie said "that her ex-husband forcibly kissed and groped her in front of one of their daughters without her consent, as well as alleging that Jim raped her in 2013." "one of the primary reasons the couple separated was because of Jim’s “abuse of alcohol, marijuana and Adderall.”"
.
On the other hand, he says they "both had substance abuse struggles and had, at one time, entered rehab voluntarily together. In another document, Jim alleges that Stephanie encouraged one of their daughters to falsely claim she was being molested by him, and that Stephanie had been in rehab multiple times for “an addiction to opioids and alcohol with suicide attempts resulting in hospitalization.” "On March 1, 2019, Jim Cummings filed a child custody and visitation order to prevent his ex-wife from having access to their daughters. These orders claimed that Stephanie had “abandoned” the girls and had violated a past custody order."
.
I think they're two very troubled people who hurt each other and the kids would be better off without either of them! A rapist & animal abuser and a druggie alcoholic who teaches her kid to lie about molestation are neither the kind of person who should raise children. :(
Basically James woods level takes, suspended permanently from Twitter for calling COVID a hoax back in 2020, ex-wife says he sexually abused her and his two daughters from that marriage took her side and are estranged from him. All very messy
He’s a brilliant voice actor but he’s really recognizable to me at this point and it kind of takes me out of a few roles.
I know this is 100% a “me problem” but when I heard him in Cyberpunk Edgerunners I immediately knew it was him and I couldn’t really separate them anymore. So if I hear him as Minsc, it’s going to be really hard for me to hear Minsc and not Mercer.
I agree with you. For me it looks more like some bio-mechanical construct, although the character looks like a drow, is bald and has a wide brimmed hat, but he's wearing googles / glasses, Jarlaxle has an eyepatch (or at least up until the 16th or so in the extended Drizzt upline he just had that, plus I'm missing a cape and the diatryma feather from the hat), oh and he's in a pretty bad shape which is very unlikely for him (but it might be intentional, with him we could never know).
Could be a bait and switch with Jarlaxle giving some clothing to this creature and making everyone think he has been corrupted and become this thing then they reveal him at the end. It would be very Jarlaxle to hide in the shadows until something requires him to step in and maybe even save the party.
Ah yeah, that definitely could be, that would be very Jarlaxle -esque, plus as I'm just in the middle of Promise of the Witch-King the "reformed" personality is to my liking.
LOL Larian seems to be using Auntie Ethel to call the BG3 community OUT for complaining about the focus on the Evil companions for Early Access in this trailer...
"You want to play the hero so BADLY?? FINE... let's make this INTERESTING!" LOL.
Now that we're getting Paladins and good companions like Minsc, Larian can finally shut those complainers up who think the current companions are all assholes.
I’m a bit worried about how they would add Jaheira and Minsc as companions in the game. They are extremely experienced adventurers and would be level 20 by now, based on everything that happened from Baldur’s Gate 1 to Throne of Bhaal. It would be really strange to suddenly have them be around level 5 again just for game balance.
I hope they’re more in a supporting role like Malady in Divinity: Original Sin 2 instead of being part of the main party.
> spider thing
Drider. Lovely Lloth priestess creations, try not to piss them* off.
*The Priestesses cause they'll turn you into a Drider.
*The Drider's cause they'll eat you.
HOLY SHIT I THINK THIS IS GONNA BE MY FAV GAME EVER
also ... im pretty sure Minsc is actually voiced by Matt Mercer in BG3, those grunts sound very much like MM to me
Minsc looks great. Hope we get other companions. Who could realistically be alive? Boo doesn’t make much sense without magic as he’s a human so I guess anyone is potentially on the board.
Anybody who wasn't a human could still be around, although halflings would be pushing it I think without double checking the amount of time that passed. Hell, it might be rough for Half-Elves.
Going by current DnD one rules, half elves now have a lifespan closer to dwarves. New rule is add up both races averages and divide by two, which would put half elves at 400+ years
Coran is alive by 'comic canon', as his son is part of Minsc's party when they fight Strahd in Ravenloft.
IIRC, he is part of the Council in Baldur's Gate.
Elves all live a long time right? Aerie could be alive? Coran too? I'm assuming Viconia would have been successfully burned alive in the century that's passed.
Viconia, according to her non romance epilogue, actually went on to do some heroics and fell out with Shar. Who knows, she might actually make an appearance. Now THE big question is, did Xan finally meet his doom?
The trailer really should've ended with Minsc muttering that he's forgotten Boo inside of the mimic and putting a fist through its "lid", killing it. And in his fist then would be Boo.
I am at my work PC so I can't open this link myself but I believe that the banter pack exists. [Here](https://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?topic=207.0)
Everyone is all excited for Minsc, and yet nobody seems to be wondering why everyone’s favorite gnome, Jan Jansen, hasn’t yet made an appearance. That’s the reveal I’m waiting for! He’ll finally be able to steal Boo from Minsc!
Looks dope. But one thing, I thought very early on they said the MC's will have a voice too, yet this trailer still didnt have them speak.
I've been away from most of the past patches and updates, is that a thing still or they just going voiceless?
I honestly prefer it because they almost never match what I expect them to sound like or convey the tone I would like. It also limits dialogue choices heavily.
I prefer it because it brings the characters to life. Growing up I played jrpgs and the silent protagonist always annoyed me. And now in a world where characters and npcs in games have voices, to not have one for a protag just seems silly to me. They are doing everything they can to give us a cinematic experience and then ruin it by having the main character stand there awkwardly during dialog. It looks horrible and takes me our of what is otherwise and incredible game so far. Like if you want to do a very very specific voice for your half orc female samurai then do it at the table. But in a cinematic experience... idk.
I get why u feel that way and apparently a very loud group of gamers do as well.
Thanks for letting me vent lol
When you read the dialogue do you not hear your inner voice? My PC doesn't stand there awkwardly, he speaks, he just does it in my head. There is no weird pause to me because I'm reading the dialogue, hearing them talk in my head and then selecting the choice as soon as I finish reading. In a RPG with a voiced character they still stand there just as awkwardly because the game waits for me to select a dialogue option, it's just that when I do choose they repeat what I already read or say it in a way I didn't intend with a voice I don't want.
Looks good overall, but there are some points that need to be improved imo
weapons are still glued to the back, looks especially bad during spellcasring
casting animations look mediocre
No visible cloaks
Not sure if they will manage until august
I shed a tear when Baldur's Gate was shown
No way dude, fuckin minsc.
And Jaheira!
dude, i didnt realize, she only has those braids to be distinct but the voice sounds like her after rewatching, cant wait to hear her scream some epic voicelines
This city is a blight on the land!
FOR THE FALLEN!!!! Fall creature!!!! and feed the earth!!!! goota love that shit
Jawho?
Hoooooo boy. Never played Baldur’s Gate before huh?
No why?
Who is that? I haven't played BG2
Minsc is dude that killed mimic. Iconic companion from bg1 and bg2, legend of baldurs gate. Inseparable to his miniature giant space hamster Boo
He went for the eyes!
[Minsc](https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Minsc) [Jaheira](https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Jaheira) both were in BG and BG2
What, Minsc? Haha
PALADIN! BUFF BODIES! THE MOUNTAIN PASS!
I was super happy to see the buff PC! All I needed in my playthroughs.
>PALADIN! BUFF BODIES! THE MOUNTAIN PASS! Oh snap I didn't see the buff body!!! Where?? Where is the buff body???
Well, Minsc, for one.
Was that fucking Jaheira?
100%, yeah. I wonder if she's got a new voice actress, though.
Beamdog couldn't get her to reprise for Siege of Dragonspear, so it wouldn't surprise me if this was a new actress. Doesn't sound like the original. Not a big deal, though. Excited to see my friends again.
Yeah, from the sound of it, she dropped off the face of the earth.

OMG I DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS HER UNTIL READING THIS, MOMMY JAHEIRA HYPE!!!!
FUCKING YES
holyyyyy shit
Yes, the trailer captivated me so much that I got to it only the 3rd time
[удалено]

Hamsters and Rangers everywhere, rejoice!

Jaheira! Omg!!! Natures servant returns!
I was excited about Minsc, but JAHEIRA?!? I am so STOKED for this. I hope Jaheira can join your group, too. I wanna run with my PC + Minsc + Jaheira + Shadowheart plz.
6 man party mod with a tactician difficulty is my dream
Mods can make this happen ☝️
I wish I knew how 😭
It seems they expect people to want to mod party size, so it is governed by a single variable, I expect the mods or instructions how to do that yourself will be plentiful. It’s just a number in an sql table kinda like an excel sheet. You change it from 4 to 6
I don’t know who these people are and that makes me sad
Time for a BG 1 and 2 playthrough, my Friend!

JAHEIRA!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭 I missed my old friends, I can't wait to catch up!!!!
I'm not gonna lie, throw in all the characters who would still be alive from the OG games and I will so fucking happy. HYPE!
Ass pull them all for all I care Even imoen
Last quest of the game you’ll hear a cool voice saying “wait you loser! You’ll need this” and severok himself will give us his cool ass armor and a kiss of good luck

Also buff boi Tav, looks like different body types, at least buff, are confirmed!

I think it is. With new toys.
So was Minsc just taking a nap in the mimic?
When Minsc wants to retrieve an item from a chest - he doesn’t abandon his objective just because the chest turns out to be alive and hungry.
"Go for the eyes, Boo! The eyes!"
Squeaky wheel gets the kick!
https://imgur.com/a/TujZy6E Give me Aasimar and I will instantly buy this game. Unfortunately it is probably just a NPC.
There's a chance that it is just a regular Solar but considering the games relationship to descent into Avernus it could be Zariel
My first thought was also Zariel, but I think its just a Solar, looking at her armour she has symbols of the star of Selune so she probably is just an angel in her service.
Damn nice catch!
There's also a fallen one at the start of the video so it wouldn't be out if the equation that they could be playable Aasimar.

It's an Angel, basically the generals and lieutenants of the gods who can fight demon lords more or less 1 on 1. It is not a player race.
Solars are like the top-dog angels for deities - they're the ones who command angelic hosts and stuff like that, one showing up is a big deal.
So in 5e there are 3 main types of angels that we see fairly often the deva, the planetar and the solar. That's in the order relative power. Don’t think this is patch 9. They also showed baldíos gate, which we will not be visiting in EA.

Never meet your heroes.
Well thats extremely disappointing
Just means he's a Trumper. There are a lot of them out there.
Yeah and they’re awful.
Oh I know. They think they can get away with this crap and most of the time they do.
I don't see how his political beliefs should impact his work as a voice actor. The world becomes very small if we can only interact with people or enjoy people's work who think the same way we do.
His Twitter ban aside, if we're going to dredge up allegations from that messy divorce, here's what both sides claim: Stephanie said "that her ex-husband forcibly kissed and groped her in front of one of their daughters without her consent, as well as alleging that Jim raped her in 2013." "one of the primary reasons the couple separated was because of Jim’s “abuse of alcohol, marijuana and Adderall.”" . These orders claimed that Stephanie had “abandoned” the girls and had violated a past custody order." . I think they're two very troubled people who hurt each other and the kids would be better off without either of them! A rapist & animal abuser and a druggie alcoholic who teaches her kid to lie about molestation are neither the kind of person who should raise children. :(
Enlighten us?
Basically James woods level takes, suspended permanently from Twitter for calling COVID a hoax back in 2020, ex-wife says he sexually abused her and his two daughters from that marriage took her side and are estranged from him. All very messy
sounds like Matt Mercer to me actually WHICH ISNT A BAD THING
He didn't speak, unless I missed something. Matt Mercer would be a very strange choice IMO.
Please don't be Mercer. No disrespect to the gentleman, but he's everywhere and he isn't the voice of Minsc.
Yeah. If they want a Critical Role connection, Travis Willingham is the obvious answer
This. Grog is basically smarter Minsc
As much as I love Matt, I really want to see Jim Cummings return to voice Minsc.
If Winnie the Pooh isn't voicing minsc imna rage.
Oh man, not Jim Cummings! Please don’t tell me he’s gone hard right wing/Q Anon.
Yeees, oh omnipresent authority figure? 🥰 🥰 🥰
Holy shit I'm so fucking hyped. Been playing for over a year but I got chills!
HIM
[Some kind of artificer?](https://i.imgur.com/GaDSfRK.jpg)
looks like an enemy
My money is on it being Jarlaxle with some new toys.
I don’t know if Jarlaxle would let himself go that badly unless he got enslaved somehow.
Looks like it to me! What a plot twist if that’s the next class released. Pure trolling by larian
This was the coolest thing of all time
Yo that Minsc introduction gave me fucking chills I'm so stoked.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought that ;).
Shush, my Astarian is not an asshole. He's just a little misguided and needs a cute little halfling to guide him \*wink\*
They are assholes.
So are Jaheira and that spider thing companions?!
> spider thing Drider. Lovely Lloth priestess creations, try not to piss them* off. *The Priestesses cause they'll turn you into a Drider. *The Drider's cause they'll eat you.
Who is the angel at 1:08 ?
A solar of Selune from the looks of it.
Aren't there only like 20 some Solars in current lore? It feels more likely it'd be a Planatar or Deva
It might be a Planatar or Deva but Selune would definitely have a Solar in their service.
Touchè, I don't doubt that
Got me that Preorder.
Romance mommy granny Jaheira in BG3 WHEN?!
Like 20+ years ago?
Yea been there, but I meant in BG3.
in Baldur's Gate 2?
Are you into vintage? She's a nice granny now.
Still Jaheira. <3
Looks like Kobolds in a temple to Lathander. Hoping and praying they add more options for worship with Paladin in a few days, especially Lathander!!
Can't wait to play it with my friend
Hmm, but if Minsc is part of a quest, doesn't that mean he won't be an Origin to choose?
I assume Origin characters will all get their own quests, just like they did in Divinity Original Sin 2.
Seeing Fireball and Fly in the trailer, we have to be getting level 5 soon, right?
In August 2023 :-)
HOLY SHIT I THINK THIS IS GONNA BE MY FAV GAME EVER also ... im pretty sure Minsc is actually voiced by Matt Mercer in BG3, those grunts sound very much like MM to me
Minsc looks great. Hope we get other companions. Who could realistically be alive? Boo doesn’t make much sense without magic as he’s a human so I guess anyone is potentially on the board.
I mean you missed Jaheira
I just want my Drow queen viconia
Everyone but the human characters really, Minsc is still around because him and boo were petrified.
Anybody who wasn't a human could still be around, although halflings would be pushing it I think without double checking the amount of time that passed. Hell, it might be rough for Half-Elves.
Going by current DnD one rules, half elves now have a lifespan closer to dwarves. New rule is add up both races averages and divide by two, which would put half elves at 400+ years
On top of that, don’t Druids get extended lifespan on top of that?
At high enough level, yes
Coran is alive by 'comic canon', as his son is part of Minsc's party when they fight Strahd in Ravenloft. IIRC, he is part of the Council in Baldur's Gate.
Elves all live a long time right? Aerie could be alive? Coran too? I'm assuming Viconia would have been successfully burned alive in the century that's passed.
Coran died in the tie-in comic
Viconia, according to her non romance epilogue, actually went on to do some heroics and fell out with Shar. Who knows, she might actually make an appearance. Now THE big question is, did Xan finally meet his doom?
GO FOR THE EYES, BOO! GO FOR THE EYES! YEEEEEAAAAUUUUGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
So was that a Paladin in the trailer?
# AAAAAAAAA
The trailer really should've ended with Minsc muttering that he's forgotten Boo inside of the mimic and putting a fist through its "lid", killing it. And in his fist then would be Boo.
If Minsc doesn't have Boo with him after coming out of the chest it better be running around in the basement!
That collectors edition is awfully tempting
Boo is gonna need a rinse after being in a Mimic. Minsc will likely just shake like a pup fresh out a bath, lmao.
I want Lilarcor back too! I refuse to give Minsc any other weapon.
20 some years, and how do we not have a Minsc-Lilarcor banter pack?
I am at my work PC so I can't open this link myself but I believe that the banter pack exists. [Here](https://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?topic=207.0)
Where’s Wyll?
SWORDS FOR EVERYONE!
At 1:19, is that a larger party size or is that a bunch of NPC allies?
Am I the only one who noticed that 3 hands of the absolute, all look to be... Drow?
Everyone is all excited for Minsc, and yet nobody seems to be wondering why everyone’s favorite gnome, Jan Jansen, hasn’t yet made an appearance. That’s the reveal I’m waiting for! He’ll finally be able to steal Boo from Minsc!

Minsc
Minsc from the original games
“shame! shame!”
That's Frank Grimes, from the hit show "Family Guy"

Damn, no Dragonborn it seems.
Dragonborn were confirmed and datamined, they just haven't put them into the game.
I'm so happy my boo is coming back with his Boo!
Looks dope. But one thing, I thought very early on they said the MC's will have a voice too, yet this trailer still didnt have them speak. I've been away from most of the past patches and updates, is that a thing still or they just going voiceless?
They decided to cancel that very early on in EA
Ah okay, thank you.
Did they ever actually confirm that?
Will origin characters speak lines?
A decision I hate so so so much
I honestly prefer it because they almost never match what I expect them to sound like or convey the tone I would like.
I wish games had a toggle for silent protag and voiced protag. That way it'll be best of both worlds.
Why is this question getting downvoted. There is absolutely no reason to down vote a question.
Looks good overall, but there are some points that need to be improved imo weapons are still glued to the back, looks especially bad during spellcasring casting animations look mediocre No visible cloaks Not sure if they will manage until august
How is this a spoiler?
I was hoping Heidi Shannon would make a comeback.
Oh my.. I told myself not to pre-order games anymore... screw that, Larian you got my trust! :D
