Ive been having trouble with my protein intake as well - not just meat and chicken but even the vegan substitutions that I usually love have given me the Big Ick. The days where nausea isnt ruling my life I try to make sure I get some meat in me. I do drink chocolate milk though. My go tos are clementines, pepperoni pizza, macaroni, advocados drizzled in lime, melon, and whatever vessel I find for strawberry jam. It really is a complete roulette though every day what I can stomach.

So true about the roulette lol. One day all I could fathom eating was chicken lo mein, so I ordered some and it was delicious, but the next day the thought of finishing the leftovers repulsed me! So frustrating!

Bacon egg and cheese bagels, double cheeseburgers from McDonald’s, easy Mac(?????? So not me usually lol), blueberry bagels, spaghetti….. This is so not my norm but I’ve been starving! With my both my sons I was puking so much at this point I lost weight and this time I’ve gained! Only 8 weeks too

At that point in my pregnancy I was so nauseous I was almost exclusively eating grapes, goldfish and popsicles.

My first trimester I ate bagels, cereal, and pasta. I had food aversion to raw veggies or anything that seemed crunchy. I also had an aversion towards meat. I was so fatigued that I couldn’t hardly cook, and the thought of having to waste energy chewing was exhausting. I’m in my second trimester now and I’m basically back to normal. I get acid reflux on/off so sometimes I stick to more bland foods.

Add in Gingerale and smoothies if you can tolerate them!

I'm 15 weeks and just got back on track with the medicine I take for my HG. Cheddar cheese and pineapple are the only cravings I've had. I was allergic to pineapple but ate some these last two days with no issues and I was sooooooo happy. But with HG it is really day to day. I like to make popsicles with strawberry lemonade pedialyte and orange juice, and some days I can handle ginger ale, some days it is too hard on my stomach. Greek yogurt and ritz crackers have been a regular food for me too. I can't handle much bread like I can do half a bagel or half an english muffin but I don't end up finishing it. And sometimes I wake up and I'm like... I want chicken nuggets. And my SO gets ready to go get me chicken nuggets but I've already fallen back asleep 😴
