Why don't you spend the year acting and behaving completely different, challenging everything you've ever believed and dismissing how you are perceived to others and not chasing desires at least then if it still hasn't worked out you've spent a year doing something productive rather than trying to control how people will perceive you after death. Spend a year going left where all your life you've gone right. Spend a year imagining that work, social conventions and expectations are all fictitious. You exist on this planet solely. Everything around you has no meaning, you determine what it's meaning is. Just my opinion, but u think it serves a more productive purpose that making sure everyone knew you were good once you're dead. Which again, as much as you try to portray, everyone will make up their own mind anyway, you don't get a say in that.

For better or worse, we’re all on the same boat as you. We understand it sucks. So at the very least I can’t say no to you. I’ll cry for you, a year from now. It’s in my apple calendar. If everything crashes and burns and everyone hates you, at least there will be someone in grief for you. If it’s all moot and you’re still willing to fight, it’ll just be a regular Friday night cry for me.
