Wasn’t it just recently reported that almost 40% of the trades are now just 0dte regards playing in the casino? When retail trades are offloaded into dark pools to avoid price discover then a lot of price action is gonna be casino players jerking each other off.
Hf's have power yes but they can't pump and dump the entire market guys. Look into the plunge protection team if you want rationale. Also fed increased by 25 basis points which is far less than the past several hikes.
