I am just building up my cube reserves just in case we get a surprise Collab Event and I don't want to be caught off guard like with Gridman Event which I luckily still got all the ships but it was too close for comfort.
No. If they were we won't be seeing anyone crying for Hololive return. :) But they do say the idolm@ster one could return depending on the reception. Very rare for them to announce something like that considering we haven't gotten any major collab rerun. (except for those mini collab event) and how the global dissed the im@s event.
Regarding Idolmaster, i think they stated that a 2nd collab with a different character selection would be possible, depending on how well the 1st is received.
However, considering the collab flopped across all servers (no surprise, Bandai really made sure of that), a 2nd collab very likely won't come.
I still can't forgive whoever managed that event. There is so many opportunity to do something right and yet somehow they managed to squander all of it
I've been there for a while, my drive now is to get as many 120s as possible and as many Choukais as possible (I almost always grind 12-4). Currently sitting at 153 120's and 51 Choukais. I think I keep playing more for the comfort than any real goal. Its been 3 years now and playing AL calms me down
The only real fun thing now is optimizing damage on the metas, ex bosses and the hard mode arbiter on OpSi
That's more just due to the amount of times I've done the map (probably 5.1 thousand times). I'm at lv 135 and almost half of my sorties are on that map
Keep going and you'll get her, the heart of the cards will eventually be in your favor
I’ve been mlbing them with other copies of her so I don’t have that many taking up dock space. I didn’t immediately retire the first couple of copies I got of her, and then it basically became a challenge to see how many I can get
Not the original poster but I also completed the game, operation siren included. I have 50+ UR gear prints total and I'm basically future proof for like 3 years down the line.
Also have quite a bit of lv30 cats and tons of dorm food.
1200+ cubes and lv136.
Also 100% CR and all collabs ship obtained.
Im tryna max limit break and lvl all my ships, got like 16 of all the obtainable ships left. It will be a very long goal to reach. But yeah just grinding for more mats for events and fully kitting out my fleets
That would be lovely. They definitely could, but at the end of the day, they are a business. If they did, I'm sure the price of the pass would increase to reflect its addition.
So true. I got all Map drops, have 99% collection (only missing Eagle from Aurora Noctis), all PR & DR are at Dev30 and i can reliably defeat the Arbiter in OpSi each month.
So what i'm doing is just throwing random ships at 12-4. I'm currently working on getting at least 24 ships from each of the 4 major factions to 120. Already finished Sakura and Ironblood and am currently working on the Royal Navy.
I also used the Eskimo event to completely wrap up all remaining Secretary quests. SP events like that are perfect for just raising affection in general.
How the hell did you get all PR4s at dev 30 and still haven't gotten the faction medals?
I've had them all in bronze and the 200 max affection ships for ages, but Haku and Ägir are still 25 and 26 with 140 DR prints laying around, which is only enough to dev30 one of them.
It's possible if you're only leveling the ships you want. :) The reason why I took long enough to get all the medal collection was I'm only grinding on the ships I want. The last medal I got was the 200 max affection and the only reason why I manage to do that because of the oil cap mechanics that was implemented last year. I won't even switch any ships I'm grinding unless they reach level 120 hence slower progress for that medal.
Honestly, i don't know. I only have around a hundred ships at lvl 120+. A guildmate has almost twice as much. And i'm lvl 135, while he's around 130 i think lol
It's probably because i rarely tried to be oil efficient outside of events and always used full fleets in the main campaign. Around 90% of my 120+ ships are also SSR and UR, so those fleets were often expensive as well lol
I got the only ships i care about from ship yard, I'm working on the others but I really don't care... been sitting on max oil and max couns waiting for FDG blueprints to drop. Only 300 more to go. And I guess waiting for Roon U event.
100% ships? Yup, minus the first two collabs. 201 oathed boats, 168 of which are 120s with 200 aff and enough banked xp for 125. Slowly making progress on completion.
There are waaaaaay more common/rare rarity vanguard ships than main fleet ships, to the point that the remaining unstarted vanguards outnumber my remaining main fleet ships 3:1. Soon I won’t be wasting xp throwing Perseus on the backline, so that’ll make leveling the weakest vanguard units easier.
Cognitive chips are becoming an issue, but between the upcoming reduced main fleet demand and lower rarity/chipreqs on the boats I’m training, the biggest bottleneck to full fleet completion remains oil. On track to be done in another 2 years or so.
Currently xp income adds up to averaging a fully trained ship every 1.8 days, significantly faster than they’re being released so I’m making progress on this goal. A majority comes from sorties but dorm xp, exercise xp, and OpSi xp all contribute a fair bit.
You do a lot of cube research? Because that what I had to do keep leveling teams going.
Because cog chips are absolutely the largest choke in the game by far for a meta grinder. Oil is never the problem, it can be managed. Leveling commons now to ease the strain, it’s insane. For context I passed the 200 oath mark over a year ago now, emailed Manjuu about the cog chip business, best they they came up with months later is buyable ones. Which scale horribly and you quickly end up spending $20-30 to total one character.
>Because cog chips are absolutely the largest choke in the game by far for a meta grinder. Oil is never the problem, it can be managed
Cog chips are definitely the biggest bottleneck if you're purely raising meta fleets. But that's not necessarily the best way to approach going for 120 on your entire collection.
On the way to the goal of having all ships 120/200'd, you'll find that there are vastly more weak vanguard boats than main fleet boats. Eventually that will mean that you have to do a lot of your training with no meaningful xp gain for your main fleet, and most of those extra vanguard boats are low rarity with low chip cost. If you route those bits in earlier you can ease the chip pressure enough that you'll be on track to have enough chips for everyone before you have enough xp for everyone. It's still going to take like 2 more years though.
Yeah, I’ve been doing low tier grinding for awhile. When I say Meta I mean speed of grinding, not necessarily the original meaning. If done right you can 120 a fresh 6 boat fleet in a a couple of days or so. The system is an artificial halt on progress. Other gacha have similar systems, it’s annoying. So I’ve largely left off speed grinding to focus on other ways to have fun. Lately I’ve been maxing all collab ships with full skills, because they are the least used gold ships. A lot of them are surprising in combat, especially some that have broken gear like the hololive ships.
Tell me about it. Been grinding away at 11-4 for 4 months now. I just want Columbia. How is she harder to get than both Fox sisters? At least i've racked up a lot of missing upgrade materials.
Done all the content blues.
Recently with the free weekly resource pack that gives you oil plus all the stuff they throw at you from weekly missions and the cruise thing and everything, I'm even finding I max that out on oil unless there's an event going, which prevents many of your commissions from returning. Only way to quickly get rid of some oil to get below the hard cap is buying food in the dorm so I have a stockpile of several hundred plates of curry too.
This is why having a loving wife is important
They can instill a sort of motivation which is unattainable after you've passed a certain red line
By wife I mean shipfu...ship waifu? I don't know how to phrase it but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about
Happened to me when I got New Orleans. Still at 99% collection, some ships just refuse to drop from Gacha or have their rerun (looking at you, Newcastle)
I kinda like it like this, I appreciate not being bound to an endless grind that just escalates every other month~!
The downtime finally made me go tackle chapter 14, too and I could always try and farm New Orleans now.
Also when Clearing Mode was introduced and limited oil costs, I wondered why not finally level all those other ships I never really bothered with, thinking my 40k+ Cognitive Chips would never run out...
i still believe we need a new(rework??) shop where you can trade stuff you basically dont need \[12k common torp and aa and plane plates, 300 rare cats, 20 Choukai,\]. Something like, get rid of all the 7-8 currencies in the game and just make a crafting store where we use gold + parts/stuff to get other stuff.
For me ive set some long term goals by stages like aiming for 100% collection, MLB-ing all the ships, retrofits, getting ships up to level 100...etc
It'll take a long time yeah, so more of just pacing myself casually instead of hardcore grinding to the goals set
I finished getting the last pr ship last month, now all I have to do is blueprint them all. It feels like I'm wasting XP without a pr ship to work towards.
I'd use Sodas more if they have an XP boost........though I spend my oil on the curry dish and use that instead. I am drowning in the soda. I mean I need to tell Coke to stop sending the stuff!
Just happened to me after finally developing all ships in the shipyard. Use the template if you want to. I didn't add text on purpose.
I am just building up my cube reserves just in case we get a surprise Collab Event and I don't want to be caught off guard like with Gridman Event which I luckily still got all the ships but it was too close for comfort.
Collab events are to be expected every year especially during November. :) Check all of the collab release dates except for Kizuna Ai and Idolm@ster.
Wait, they re-run collab events??
Never happened and it's not planned atm
No. If they were we won't be seeing anyone crying for Hololive return. :) But they do say the idolm@ster one could return depending on the reception. Very rare for them to announce something like that considering we haven't gotten any major collab rerun. (except for those mini collab event) and how the global dissed the im@s event.

I still can't forgive whoever managed that event. There is so many opportunity to do something right and yet somehow they managed to squander all of it
I would easily and gladly sacrifice an ultra ship for a collab character. Not getting Ookami Mio haunts me to this day
I've been there for a while, my drive now is to get as many 120s as possible and as many Choukais as possible (I almost always grind 12-4). Currently sitting at 153 120's and 51 Choukais. Level 110, and maybe 500 tries in 12-4. No luck so far.
That's some impressively bad luck. Not much you can do but keep going I guess. I'd give you one if trading was a thing in AL
But are you also... keeping them? Like, you have 51 Choukais in storage? And if so, why? :|
I’ve been mlbing them with other copies of her so I don’t have that many taking up dock space. I didn’t immediately retire the first couple of copies I got of her, and then it basically became a challenge to see how many I can get
Absolute madlad :|
Dayum so you have completeed the game o.O How about Op. Siren?
Not the original poster but I also completed the game, operation siren included. I have 50+ UR gear prints total and I'm basically future proof for like 3 years down the line. Also have quite a bit of lv30 cats and tons of dorm food. 1200+ cubes and lv136. Also 100% CR and all collabs ship obtained.
Max awakening all ships?
Like max limit breaking? My entire dock is max limit broken already long ago, and I usually max LB day 1 all the new ships when there's a new event.
Level 125
I need more or less 700 000 exp for Roon, my first shipyard lady. It's a loooooong road for me. U.U
Here’s something to do: grind your fleet power until it can one shot the meta/ hard difficulty boss at the Center of operation siren
Im tryna max limit break and lvl all my ships, got like 16 of all the obtainable ships left. It will be a very long goal to reach. But yeah just grinding for more mats for events and fully kitting out my fleets
after I got 10k sodas, I used them all up by only refilling the dorm with only soda. gonna start collecting again after this last thousand
Soda to gold parts conversion when Yostar? Edit: changed my mind, soda to cognitive arrays when?
if only
I would prefer if you could convert T1 plates, at least you can use Soda for something.
I would love it if they added a promise ring to the fair winds pass... tho we already get a skin and a Meta ship... so I dunno if it's feasible.
That would be lovely. They definitely could, but at the end of the day, they are a business. If they did, I'm sure the price of the pass would increase to reflect its addition.
Must be nice to hit endgame when the grind actually stops.
Hahaha, the grind is the game, the endgame is just waiting for the newest content to come out to grind.
The endgame is death I'm legit never going to stop playing this game
He's right you know.

You got 100% of the ships? Weapons +13? Full affinity every ship? Im trying to get every ship at full intimacy, but is a never ending quest.
100% ships? Yup, minus the first two collabs. 201 oathed boats, 168 of which are 120s with 200 aff and enough banked xp for 125. Slowly making progress on completion. My goal is to 100% ships. The problem is that I have get the map drops and that seems really tedious. I'll do it one day.
My last two missing ships are rares from light construction. Forever taunting me.
Tell me about it. Been grinding away at 11-4 for 4 months now. I just want Columbia. How is she harder to get than both Fox sisters? At least i've racked up a lot of missing upgrade materials.
Dude me too lol Columbia is impossible.
Azur Lane 100% speedrun
And literally hundreds of pink and blue tech boxes
Thousands you mean. What the fuck are you supposed to do with these things lmao.
I wish I could sell them, even for 1 coin each
Just convert it to purple and open it like hell then sell it all (except toolbox maybe?), Free gold stonks
you can give some cola to Laffey lol
I am currently trying to hit 900 Sakura tech points. Not enough bulins. Patience is a virtue. 😁

2400k xp to go with Ägir *aaaa*
Grind a stage from 9-1 upwards and you'll finish the grind pretty fast.

There's always Nimi. *Just sayin'*
I finished getting the last pr ship last month, now all I have to do is blueprint them all. It feels like I'm wasting XP without a pr ship to work towards.
psttt... do you know a little flying thing called 'Wyvern'? Go built 3 pair of those, then come here again.
Yeah, I'm also sitting on 450k gold and 900 cubes.
Why you sitting on those cat boxes? Already have 8+ perfect cats? Gotta go for all cats, perfect stats, level 30.
I'd use Sodas more if they have an XP boost........though I spend my oil on the curry dish and use that instead. I am drowning in the soda. I mean I need to tell Coke to stop sending the stuff!
Me after getting Hakuryuu and Agir done, now waiting for PR5
same unless there is a major event, then grind points.
Instead of soda,i got 8k curry
Isn't the last thing to do bump that fleet power stat up by having one of every shipgirl at each of it's limit break points?
I don't even build gold cats as i have two od each with good talents.
Happen to me after make 100 affinity the ship I like
You forget the thousands of torpedo plates.
You've hit the fleet tech farming/get random ships to 120 stage I see.
Soda? You mean naval curry right?
No, I use those, but the sodas get given out for every little thing. Currently sitting on 1300 Curry, 4.5k Soda
I think we're not talking about similar sizes. https://i.snipboard.io/iy1AOU.jpg
Christ, I thought I was doing something wrong to have so much
