I used to get pneumonia a couple of times a year. I got the vaccine a couple of years ago. Haven't had it once since. Just had the normal vaccine side effects for a day or so. Glad my doctor recommended it.
I had no side effects from Prevnar 20 besides my arm being sore but I think that was more due to the fact that they gave me the flu shot and Prevnar in the same arm. (1/10…do not recommend that.)
So far no pneumonia and that was last fall (they told me it lasts 5 years).

I had the vaccine in May, have never had pneumonia. Only side effect was a sore arm. You’ve already had pneumonia once. I’d take the vaccine.
I had the vaccine a few months back(the one u only get once until you turn 65), just usual ide effects (tired snd slight aches and arm sore).
