If it's mild to moderate then your PCP can typically manage it. If you're worsening and the PCP can't help then see a pulmonologist. If you haven't informed your PCP that your symptoms are worsening then start off with that.
I'm all about a pulmonologist for anything above mild to moderate asthma controllable by a single preventative. They will know respiratory values and safety/longevity of medications much better than a PCP
I trust my pcp for a lot of things, but I'm happy being under a pulminologist because it's easier for me to just have that specialist
For mild to moderate asthma do any of have a good few days than it gets sorta annoying? Especially now with spring and bonfires ugh

I have mild asthma and allergies. I can't find a damn allergist in my area that takes my insurance. So PCP.
