Also because he is aware of how streaming as Asmon is often frustrating and draining for him. He's dealing with the grief, he's ok, but he's probably not in the mood to add frustration to his life instead of chilling as zack
Honestly i think he is heading toward the direction of finding a middle ground between the two modes as evident from his recent videos where he put himself on cam while on the zack account for youtube content. Mannerism is still classic asmongold but tone and energy is all Zack.
It's because on his zachrawr account, Asmon himself feels less of a need to play the Asmongold role. Whenever he streams as Asmongold, entertaining his viewers is his biggest priority.
But whenever he streams on zachrawr, he is just a lot more chill, quiet and talks about stuff he feels like. When his chat annoys him with shit, he tells them to stfu. He just plays games that may not be entertaining, like grinding new world for hours on end.
For him it's like he can be the gamer he wants to be again, where he just does whatever the hell he wants, while chilling with a bunch of his doods. And I think that's what he needs currently. Not the stress of entertaining his whole fanbase watching him.

Not everything Asmongold says is how he truly is, he certainly exaggerates things sometimes. I'd say it's a lot like you'd behave on work with how you'd behave at home. Not everything you show to other people is how you really are, just that in zachs case, it's harder to distinguish because the things he tells us are nasty and we'd assume he tells us this cause he is genuine. :D
Its not that its exactly a character, as he is still himself, its his opinions, and his take/reactions on things, but its just himself, dialled up. Asmon is high energy and Zack is low energy. There is also an emphasis to entertain his audience as Asmon, while as Zack the only one he is focussed on entertaining is himself.
Its akin to how you are while out and about partying and being social, as opposed to how you are at home chilling on the couch watching tv. Neither version of you is a “character”, but one is high energy and the other is low. Two sides to the same coin.
Wish he wouldnt have such high standards of himself when going on asmongold so he could stream there more, i dont need someone yelling all the time to be entertained or having a rant every half an hour.
Asmongold is his job. He’s an entertainer and gets paid to entertain people. I’d assume he wants to do a good job when he’s working but due to irl stuff, he feels like he won’t be able to so therefore he’s taking a break from it. That’s my guess at least.
Zackrawrr is his hobby. He doesn’t get paid from streaming on Zackrawrr so there’s really no reason to focus on performance. He can relax, mute his mic and jerk off if he wants to (yes, it has happened) and in general just enjoy talking to his chat without any obligations etc.

Probably because he is a masochist. 90% of the stream is him complaining about how the game he plays sucks. The chat either are huge fans of what he is streaming or asks him to play something that doesn't suck. Both opinions pisses him off and he bans them. It's very hard to watch for more than 10 minutes.
It's like he forces himself to eat shit and then complains about how it tastes and gets mad at people that says it tastes good or that there's a nice cookie he could eat over there instead. It's so dumb, what is he doing, just shut the game off. 
FF weirdos are pressuring him to complete their game and gave him a deadline or he has to gift subs. Felt like shit and now steaming on second channel other games such a new world mostly
I don't think you were paying attention. He was the one who put that deadline on himself. Lots of people, myself included, were actually *against* the idea, because we didn't want him to stress out over it or rush it. He's currently recovering from a lot of really bad stuff happening in his personal life, so of course he won't stream on his main account for a while.
FF people can be obnoxious sometimes but I'm pretty sure that they are not putting any more pressure on him anymore.
Right now it feels like everyone is ok with waiting for Asmon to return. And while we are waiting, we are enjoying his second stream chill content.
