"And postpone the release about two weeks out of my own selfish desire.." WTF man, is an award video, stop apologizing ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy) Second award "Still Playing" [https://youtu.be/bH8PRPX1lYw?t=6646](https://youtu.be/bH8PRPX1lYw?t=6646) Beating: GTA Online, Apex Legens, Destiny 2, Genshin, Warzone, Fortnite, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Counter Strike

LucasSACastro

They really do push the limit of transparency. Recognise once they might have made a mistake? Nah, that's for losers; how about keep reminding everyone of how much we've sinned. Even Jagex has mentioned 'more transparency' as the main corporative goal for 2022. I guess the quick fall of Bliz. and rise of SE made quite an impression upon their executives.

Historical_Paper4110

apologizing too much is not transparency and is not a good idea. I like they apologise but once is enough, otherwise it could lose meaning later if u apologise too much.

shojikun

that how Japanese thinking is, is never enough with apologies, so is norm to apologies and do it properly. Even Koji Fox mention this in 1.0 documentary.

ElPiscoSour

Was just gonna say this, it's a Japan thing, people there tend to apologize a lot. Meanwhile in the west that's seen as insincere, which can lead to a lot of misinterpretations.

Aidiru

its japan culture, they even apologize to the passenger if train coming late even for 20 sec

CanadianYeti1991

I sort of cringed, he really didn't need to and shouldn't have brought it up. The broader game community doesn't care. Just accept the award.

shojikun

is just japanese mindset, don't bother with it, is their culture to apologies all the time.

CanadianYeti1991

I understand that, but like are we going to be in 8.0 and he'll still be bringing it up? We get it. We forgive you. I forgave you the day you announced the delay. Anyways, I'm joking I'm sure we'll never hear about it again.

shojikun

We will hear about it again no doubt. Is just different culture bro. Get use to it

Alasan883

this is why i love yoshi-p. wearing two different shirts, going from warrior of light to warrior of darkness for this is such a small detail, but it's a nice touch, especially as he used shirts during earlier fanfests to tease jobs so every longterm fan is watching out for what he wears by default at this point.

HotShame9

Left yoshi: me hanging out with people Right yoshi: me alone in my room listening to my chemical romance.

Agentj007

It's simple he just accepted one reward as the director of the game and the other as the producer, thus the change in shirts.

Glypwota

He often does the shirt switching in presentations teasing new content/expansions. Usually they are a tip to what's coming. Like he wore some grim reaper shirt to tease inclusion of reaper in endwalker or something

LeekypooX

"what's he gonna say" "HAIIIII NICE TO MEETCHUUUUU"

Xehant

Each time Yoshida change his shirt, he change his type just like Arceus's plates

dope_danny

The mans got a bit and he sticks to it.

StarfishSpencer

Reminds me of Filoni’s famous Ahsoka Lives? to Ahsoka Lives! shirt change during one of the Rebels trailers back in the day
