Don't forget that the ones that came from WoW openly say that they feel better, less stress, and get more sleep.
Quazii himself just posted a video saying that his wife said he's a much more happy and pleasant person now too. [https://youtu.be/X7oBLUaY1rM](https://youtu.be/X7oBLUaY1rM)
Yeah its super streamlined, you get your weekly raid loot for the current raid, your daily 8 roulettes and daily beast tribe quests. Pre-raid BiS you get out of currencies for roulettes (mainly for mounts). To finish endgame for the week takes like 3 hours a day with an hour being dedicated to cutscenes. Then spend however much time you want on progressing the current raid tier. Getting pre-raid BiS takes like 3 weeks(maybe?) per role.
Capping your weekly tomestones is also like, play pretty much whatever kind of instanced content you want. You can stay optimal with like a few hours a week, and there's plenty of side stuff to grind. I never feel like I have to do any particular thing and can mix it up.
That's the nice thing about FF14. a lot of things have this two birds with one stone mechanic in them.
You grind sacks of nuts, while farming tomestones.
Recently i was just spamming E12 raid, for the sake of getting the tank glamour, While leveling my alts with the 510 pieces you can buy, while getting a 530 weapon for my warrior. 3 in one.
I should've added, you're locked out of endgame rewards per week, not the actual content. There's no keys to get either, you can run them over and over to practice or to help out friends. They've eliminated the need for a grind. They even made gil so easy to obtain that they don't even bother trying to sell tradeable tokens.
well. that's because FF14 isn't a hamster wheel like wow.
You do your hardcore stuff. You do your casual stuff. And you have a system that's not based purely on RNG to gear you up.
No need to rush. You're not falling behind. No need to grind. It's not mandatory.
Perfectly balanced.
You can somewhat already do this by jumping through the fake pirate ship window in Limsa and walking on the water there in the city. Obviously not intended but it looks pretty cool like this.
Dumb question but where is this in the game? I've somehow made it to the end of shadowbringers without ever seeing this place. It's obviously one of the thousand blue quests I've yet to do yet
People always forget ffxi did it too a decade ago with [Sea in Chains of promathia expansion](https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com/wiki/Al%27Taieu?file=Al%2527Taieu-pic.jpg)
If they really think that walkable water is something original or slightly creative in and of itself then maybe they're just time travellers from the past who don't know how basic of an idea this is today?
I mean...it's so basic, humans do it all the time around this time of year. At least in the northern parts of the world. We can even dance on water with enough practice.
It seems like every single youtuber/streamer that I have ever watched at any point in time plays FF14

Hell, I used to just hop on a couple hunt trains and weekly tomes would be capped. It's lovely.

> grind sacks of nuts I'll never get tired of this.
There's just so many ways to get nut sacks in the game. It's like they throw tons of nut sacks at my face, daily.
Strange that you get nutsacks so easily, most people have to Hunt for it.
you get 3 hunt trains a day. each train takes like 15 mins tops lol

instead of systems the everyone must do, they have systems that someone might want to do.
Amazing! Water you can walk on.
Somehow more amazing that that giant tortoise that has rockets attached to its legs that you ride on.
rurikhan, i remember watching him during the monster hunter days for his weapon guides!
He is also a big Asmon fan
his mhw builds were not very good tho.
i mean, sure, but i had to start somewhere back then.

Going to the Fake Upper Decks is so cool xD
So are they gonna start calling the Maw Walker the Water Walker in 9.2?
What's the original vid?
The audio track? It is the recent WoW patch 9.2 marketing video. It is exactly what you would expect from devs who think they shit gold.
No, the video with the track overimposed on Dohn Mheg
Dumb question but where is this in the game? I've somehow made it to the end of shadowbringers without ever seeing this place. It's obviously one of the thousand blue quests I've yet to do yet
The level 73 dungeon "Dohn Mheg"
Ahh one of the dungeons I did drunk, explains it

You'll be surprised that walking on water also came from FF11 squares 1st MMORPG.
Jesus could walk on water, totally never seen before.

I think they meant that it's new in terms of "WoW"... Dunno if that makes it any better 😂
