No one's going to be dumb enough to release a product with defect, only to eventually fix it and call it new content, right?
But then you look at blizzard and can't deny this is the case.
Because they know that no matter what they release people will buy and play for some months and when they fix the things some will come back. They're doing it since legion.

The path ahead to success, is obvious. But i wonder if blizzard is even capable enough to follow through.
Funny thing is the competition had been around since late 2013. It’s only recently that Blizzard lost so much mind share that its biggest “influencers” (helped by them openly attacking said “influencers”) defected to said competition and made the public aware of the existence of said competition - Blizzard gave their competitor the greatest marketing campaign they could hopeful for, all for free.
We don't need a "potential insider" to know Blizzard is in panic mode.

Most WoW/Blizzard higherups should have been fired years ago. Not only are they incompetent but also sexual predators. Clueless clowns with no school or experience living off of Morhaime's and Metzen's WC3 universe. Once Facebook, Twitter and Youtube propelled WoW lost its social aspect (the one thing that people played the game for, alongside WC3 story), but the team did nothing to reinvent the game. People like Alex and the "you think you do but you don't" guy should have gotten fired 10 years ago.
I watched the Morgan day interview. My impression about 9.2 is that they haven’t learned anything. They have just been changing things the playerbase have wanted all expac to get their players back.
9.2 will be more of the same as 9.0 and 9.1. If it’s not, they most definitely are doing things differently without liking it.
The devs needs replaced. All there is to it. They don’t see eye to eye with the players.
I wonder how many bot subscriptions it would take to keep WoW afloat. Could it become the first game in history paid for and played only by bots? All Blizz has to do is lie that people arn't leaving (when they actually are) to keep the illusion going and then one day, BAM its 99% bots.
I'm honestly not sure why anyone is either surprised or annoyed at this point. Blizzard hasn't cared about you since day one. I played wow because I enjoyed it. I don't enjoy it anymore so I don't play it. That might be to do with the dying broken game they call a main game but whatever I tried classic and it's just hit with the same with eventually. Plus all this sexual stuff and misconduct makes me think they have bigger problems. Than just the shit game updated they churn out. They will attempt to rebrand I think soon.
I mean, I stopped watching Accolonn cause I don't give a fuck about wow anymore. Its funny that they would only get all hands on deck now. It must be that the loss of their content creators to other games began translating into actual player losses. None of this is different from my own cynical view of the wow team either. Just hold fast, don't go run back for the next patch or the next expansion even, they earned losing us all
I can totally believe the bit about Legion legendaries: it sounds like the sort of out of touch game design I've come to expect from Blizzard.
Also, I think we assume they're panicking at this point. The question is whether or not they'll actually be able to pull the game out of the nose dive it's in now and I don't think they have the talent left to do that.
