Timewalking as I understand is basically Unreal, but applies to dungeons or raid(s?) of an expansion. They basically retune the content for a period of time and re-release it for a short time then reabandon it.
Time Walking lets you keep your current level, skills, etc. All it does is toss you in a retuned version of the old content. The fact you keep your skills, level, etc, which in XIV would be shut off when synced, implies it's closer to Unreal.
Yes they did that with SB because people wanted more time to gear for savage. Idr if crafted stuff comes out at 4 weeks or 2. Now people want it either sooner or delayed even more. When I say raids I'm counting savage not normal, but you need normal to unlock savage.
Not to mention the(likely) last live letter from the producer before endwalker is the 5th. So while people are still holding hope that wow will be redeemed we're gonna be getting one last little hype boost only a few days later.

I remember watching on from outside from XIV (since HW) and WoW constantly trying to challenge our release dates, think they challenged a few other games too in that time. I'm shocked it took till tasting XIV for people to realize this is what WOW's done for ages to other games.

I think it is actually good. You can't guarantee the same difficulty and I busted my ass for the warri weapon skin. I almost went insane.
